110 PEOPLE DEAD IN LAST 48 HOURS

A severe drought is threatening the lives of millions of people across Somalia. Somalia’s Prime Minister said Saturday that 110 people have died from hunger in the past 48 hours in a single region, reported AP.

The death toll is from the Bay region in the southwestern part of the nation. The United Nations estimated 5 million people need aid.

UN: “'GLOBAL WARMING’ CAUSES 11 MILLION CHILDREN TO SUFFER FAMINE”

The UN issued a statement on Tuesday about El Nino’s effect on weather, which UN officials say is causing 11 million children to suffer hunger in eastern and southern Africa. 40 PERCENT OF BEE HIVES DIED IN THE PAST YEAR
