Arutz Sheva:  235 people were killed on Monday in Syria, as clashes continued between opponents of the regime and military forces loyal to the Assad regime, the Al-Arabiya network reported.

Meanwhile, a senior officer in Assad's army told AFP that the army expects to retake the city of Aleppo from rebel forces within ten days.

Commentary:  The casualties continue to climb as every week passes in Syria.  Damascus is a heap of rubble from the ongoing civil war in Syria, and hundreds of thousands have fled to seek refuge in Turkey and Jordan.
