The Washington Post:  Houses were damaged at Shag Rock near Sumner after the cliff fell away during two magnitude 6.0 (upgraded to 6.3) and 5.5 earthquakes in Christchurch, New Zealand.  Strong aftershocks rattled the quake-devastated city of Christchurch again Monday, toppling one of the few buildings still standing downtown and sinking thousands of homes into darkness.

My Comments:  New Zealand is still suffering major earthquakes nearly four months after a 7.1 quake killed 181 people on February 22, 2011.  Jesus said in Mark 13:8 "Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be earthquakes in different places and there will be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows."  Things will not get better, but only get worse, as the Day of the Lord gets closer, because this is what the Word of God says and His Word is true.  These are warnings from the Lord, that the Day of the Lord is at hand and "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" Acts 2:21.  Tomorrow could be too late to repent and receive Jesus as Savior.
