6.5 Major Earthquake Hits Champerico, Guatemala

A major 6.5 earthquake hit Champerico, Guatemala on Sunday, November 11, 2012, at 22:15:00 UTC, at a depth of 27 km (16.8 mi).  There were four aftershocks ranging from 4.5 - 5.0.

The recent 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Guatemala on November 7, 2012, killed 52 people, left thousands homeless in the region and there are dozens still missing. 

Five major (>5.9) earthquakes have hit in the last four days.  Jesus said these signs would appear before He returns, "Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in divers places" Matthew 24:7.

When you examine the earthquake graph below, you can see that earthquakes have increased in volume over 200% between 2010 and 2011!  For those of you who are paying attention and have a desire to know, this speaks to us, does it not? 

Jesus said, "Blessed are those servants whom the Master, when He comes, will find watching" Luke 12:37.

Jesus also said, "When you see these things, know that it is near (His return), even at the doors" Matthew 24:33. 

The graph below shows the drastic increase in earthquake activity between 2010 and 2011 (look closely at the 2011 increase near the right border).
