A
major 6.7 magnitude earthquake hit the Papua New Guinea region on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 22:51:56 UTC, at a depth of 84.3 km
(52.4 mi).
A Pacific tsunami advisory was issued initially, but later cancelled at 1:30 pm HST.
There have been 38 major (>5.9) earthquakes in various
places over the last 38 days;
among which were five 7 and one 8 magnitude quakes!
Jesus said, "Great earthquakes
shall be in diverse places, famines and pestilences and there shall be
fearful sights and great signs from heaven" Luke 21:11.
During the previous 28 months, there have been at least 258 major earthquakes reported on this site. (I only report earthquakes greater than 5.9 magnitude.)
Jesus said these
signs would appear before He returns, "Nation
will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be
famines, pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places" Matthew 24:7.
The Word of God says,
"When they say, 'Peace and safety,' then sudden destruction will come
upon them, as travail upon a woman with child, and they (the wicked)
shall not escape" 1 Thessalonians 5:3.
Jesus also said, "Blessed are those servants whom the Master, when He comes, will find watching" Luke 12:37.
