A major 6.7 magnitude earthquake hit Tonga on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 10:08:07 UTC, at a depth of 129.4 km (80.4 mi).

Throughout history, there have never been as many major earthquakes with such frequency on record, as we see happening within the last year. 

The mainstream news media in the US are not publishing the frequency of these major earthquakes.  They are announcing the earthquakes individually, but they are not announcing the frequency of these major quakes, which is equally as, or more newsworthy than the individual quakes.

Jesus said these signs would appear before He returns, "Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places" Matthew 24:7.  You may have noticed that the frequent major earthquakes throughout the world are hitting various places.  This is exactly what Jesus said would happen.  The graph below shows the drastic increase in earthquake activity between 2010 and 2011 (look closely at the 2011 increase on the graph near the right border, as opposed to the level of earthquakes recorded in 2010 and prior).
