APOCALYPTIC FISH DIE-OFF
An innumerable amount of herring froze in place while
swimming near the surface of a Norwegian shore last Sunday.
Ingolf Kristiansen captured an image of the frozen masses (link
for more on this story…).
In January of 2012, 20 tons of herring mysteriously washed onto
a beach in northern Norway, baffling scientists as to their cause of death,
reported HuffingtonPost.com.
It is amazing, in that this is a major prophetic event, that we
rarely see mention of Hosea’s prophecy about animal deaths in the last days,
with exception to Christian and conservative news outlets.
Hosea wrote,
“Therefore shall the land mourn and everyone that dwells in it
shall languish, with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, yes,
the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away” Hosea 4:3.
We see this happening right now throughout the world.
Hosea prophesied about the backsliding Israel, sin in the land
and how God would chastise the people for their sins.
In the last chapter of
Hosea, however, he prophesied that God is calling His people to repentance and he wrote of God's love for them,
“I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, for My
anger is turned away from him” Hosea 14:4.
We are living in the last days, friends. The Lord is calling sinners to repentance and backsliders to repent and be healed.
