Cannibalism in Brazil

Cannibalism:
First we began seeing "zombie" attacks, people attacking other people and eating their flesh - while they are alive and standing; now we are seeing news reports of cannibalism.
Three have been charged in Brazil for killing three women, and possibly four others, and eating them. The three have admitted to police that they killed three women and consumed the flesh of their victims. The victims were between the ages of 17 and 31. The murders took place between 2008 and 2012 in the northeast Pernambuco State. The suspects claimed to be part of a cult and said they killed in order to rein in population growth. The accused are Jorge da Silveira and Isabel Pires, a married couple in their early 50s, and 25-year-old Bruna da Silva, Silveira's mistress.
I noticed other articles linked to the above and they are too gruesome to report on this website, and these types of horrific crimes are becoming more frequent. People are committing outrageous acts against humanity and animals alike, bizarre, unthinkable things, unimaginable torture to human beings and animals. These crimes are not surfacing in one place, but they are popping up all over the globe. Things you never heard of in the 50s-60s, but are becoming commonplace in the news media today. Why do you suppose? People throughout the world have become more unGodly, thus we are seeing more mayhem. The more Godless a nation becomes, the more wickedness becomes rampant. We are now living in the very last days, before the return of the Lord.
The Bible alludes to such crimes as these occurring in the last days, "Know this, that in the last days perilous times shall come" 2 Timothy 3:1. What are perilous times? TheFreeDictionary.com defines "perilous" as "very hazardous or dangerous." I would say that people eating other people is very hazardous and dangerous. The scriptures go on to say, "For men shall be lovers of themselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, (TheFreeDictionary.com defines "incontinent" as "not restrained, uncontrolled."), fierce (TheFreeDictionary.com defines "fierce" as "menacingly wild, savage." I would say it is very menacing and extremely wild and savage to eat another human being!), despisers of those who are good, traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God" 2 Timothy 3:2-4. The Bible says these things will happen in the last days, before the Lord returns - we are living in that time.
