The Word of God tells us,  "And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred, and all their brethren were at their commandment" 1 Chronicles 12:32.

The sons of Issachar were blessed by God with the gift of understanding and discerning the times, to know what Israel ought to do.  This tribe was so renowned for understanding the times and knowing what to do that their brethren were "at their commandment."  Wow, I find that amazing.  Of all the other eleven tribes, the children of Issachar knew the times and they knew what to do!

King David said, "Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity and in whose spirit there is no guile" Psalm 32:2.  He went on to prophecy in verse 8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way that you should go; I will guide you with My eye."  Who will the Lord instruct and guide?  The person to whom the Lord does not impute, or charge, sins against, the person without guile (deceit).

The Bible says that God gave King Solomon wisdom and wealth, because when God asked him what he desired of Him, Solomon asked for wisdom and knowledge, so he could effectively rule God's people.  The Lord was very pleased because Solomon asked for wisdom and knowledge for the sake of His people, instead of riches, wealth, honor, the lives of his enemies, or longevity, so God gave him wisdom, knowledge and everything else that he didn't ask for! (2 Chronicles 1:7-12.)  God said to Solomon, "Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto you, and I will give you riches, wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had that have been before you, neither shall there any after you have the like" 2 Chronicles 1:12.  Wisdom and knowledge should be very important to us; it was pleasing to God when Solomon asked for these gifts.

If God gives us one set of instructions in a given situation, at a given time, does that mean the same instructions apply in every situation?  Let's take a look at what the Word of God has to say about that.  There was a time when Jesus told His disciples, "Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip (bag for supplies), neither bread, neither money, neither have two coats apiece" Luke 9:3.  In this instance, Jesus sent His disciples on a missionary journey to preach the kingdom of God and heal the sick.  Jesus was among them, instructing them, guiding them, providing for them, even so far as to send Peter out to the sea to fetch money for their tax bill from a fish's mouth!

As Jesus prepared them for His departure, His death on the cross and ascension to heaven, He instructed his disciples differently, "He said to them, 'But now, he who has a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip, and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one" Luke 22:36.
Jesus knew He would be taken that very night and sentenced to death.  He knew He would not be with them and He was instructing them to not only take money for their provision, but a sword to defend themselves.  He also knew the Romans would invade Israel.

The disciples gave their lives willingly as martyrs, but they could have justifiably defended themselves.  The disciples laid down their lives for the sake of the gospel, but they did not offer up their children and families.

God knows exactly where we are, what our circumstances are and what He has called us to do.  There are many who are willing to suffer for the sake of the gospel and they will be greatly rewarded for their sacrifices.  I do know this, God has never called anyone to abandon their wives and children, or hand them over to the wicked.  In fact, the Word of God is clear about a man's responsibility to his family, "If any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel" 1 Timothy 5:8.  Would the Lord have a man provide bread, but no protection for his family?

Even Jesus (being the eldest in his family and responsible for his mother), as He suffered and died on the cross, made provisions for his mother.  He instructed His beloved disciple (believed to be John), "When Jesus therefore saw His mother and the disciple standing by, whom He loved, He said to His mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then He said to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home" John 19:26-27.

There are factions in the world today who want to destroy God's people.  This is a fact and it will only worsen as we approach the great tribulation spoken of by Jesus.  He said, "Then will be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be" Matthew 24:21.  According to what Jesus said, the great tribulation will be worse than anything that has already happened, or ever will happen.  That means the holocaust will pale in comparison!

There are Christians who believe we must humble ourselves and families to the enemies of God and to persecution, with no defense, not only giving up ourselves, but to surrender our families.  Christians may allow evil people to torture and kill them for the sake of humility, but it is never God's will for us to surrender our families, our children to the wicked.  When the Jews went willingly into cattle cars to be "relocated to safe havens," once they stepped into those cattle cars, many of them died on the way.  Not only were they, but many of their children also, were used by sadistic doctors to perform hideous, excruciatingly painful experiments.  That is not God's will for children!

Lay down and give up your lives to the wicked, if you so desire, and God will have pity on you.  If you toss your children to the dogs, however, you will have to answer to God, according to 1 Timothy 5:8

This nation was founded on Bible principles.  God moved on the hearts of our founding fathers to give us the United States Constitution and within those writings are unalienable rights (the term "unalienable" was used to emphasize that we shouldn't be so stupid as to allow anyone to take them from us).  The blood of millions has been spilled for our freedom of religion and our other unalienable rights, so we need to hold them very dear.  Am I willing to die for them?  Oh yes - no hesitation.  Think "holocaust" and that will give you strength to pray, and also fight for yourself and your children!

As a nation of citizens, we are being lied to by (bought and paid for) politicians and liberals, time and time again.  Their ultimate agenda?  Many of them don't even know themselves, but they are motivated by coffers and those from whom they aspire to gain favors and position.  The Illuminati (Luciferians, satan worshipers) is behind our governing forces and they are out to annihilate most of us and take away our freedoms (read guide #1 of the Georgia Guidestones).  If you don't believe that, you should compare their liberal agenda with nations such as China, Vietnam, North Korea and other Socialist/Communist nations which oppress and enslave their citizens.

My, how we need to wake up! The Children of God should already know that they kicked God, the Bible and prayer out of schools and replaced them with evolution, 'extramarital sex is fine' sex education, 'homosexuals are fine' sex education, big government is good for the people, and the list goes on.  The Godless are teaching your children Godlessness, unless you homeschool, or your children attend Christian school.

According to mainstream news media accounts, most Americans are in favor of gun control.  This is as big a lie as "Obama won the presidential election fair and square," as stated by Rep. Paul Ryan.  There is no such thing as a "fair" election in America anymore.  Our current president and many past presidents are only puppets of the Illuminati, those who hold the megawealth.

There are those who will never believe what I have just written.  They are the same type of sheep that will load their children into cattle cars and head out for "a safe haven" (does Treblinka and Auschwitz sound familiar?).  In every sense of the word, the Jews, throughout history, have set forth an example to all of us.  "Whatsoever things were written aforetime (Old Testament - all about the Jews) were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope" Romans 15:4.

We are living in the last days and the world is headed for global government, a New World Order, and the great tribulation period.  If you don't believe it, that's your prerogative, but you are then denying what Jesus said (that the great tribulation would come - Matthew 24:21) and what John the Revelator said (who wrote about the Antichrist's power over every nation - Revelation 13:7, Revelation 13:16-18).

God will remove His people from the world before the great tribulation, but we may face hardship before that time arrives - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.  According to the scripture, some people will receive salvation after the saints are gone, but I wouldn't want to be here.  The Antichrist will persecute them and behead them - Revelation 20:4

Discern the times and know what to do, as the children of Issachar.  Ask God for wisdom and understanding, as Solomon did.  We need to be ready for what is soon coming.

Are you saved?  Have you received Jesus as your Savior?  If not, please visit the How Can I Be Saved page of this website.  The Bible says, "...now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation" 2 Corinthians 6:2; tomorrow could be too late.  I pray you make the right decision, your eternal destiny depends on it.  God bless you.
