One hundred, twenty-two people have died in the Ukraine, including many who froze to death in the streets, as temperatures dropped to -38.1 degrees Celsius (-36.5 Fahrenheit).  A ferry got caught in a snowstorm in Italy and hundreds had to be rescued there, reported AFP.  Airports and trains were delayed and roads gridlocked, as road service workers moved quickly to remove fallen snow.  Rome experienced the heaviest snowfall in 27 years, which left taxis and buses unable to navigate through the snow for lack of chains.

Amidst other crises occurring throughout the world, storms, such as those described above, are foretold in the Bible as signs of the Lord's return in the last days, "The Lord has a mighty strong tempest of hail and destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to earth with the hand" Isaiah 28:2.  "The Lord will cause His glorious voice to be heard and will show the lighting down of His arm, with the indignation of His anger and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, tempest and hailstones" Isaiah 30:30.  Russia experienced the worst heat and fires, which burned 9 million hectares and claimed 56,000 lives, in the summer of 2010.  The United States also experienced record breaking fires in 2011.  The list of storms and catastrophes continue, as God is warning the world of the imminent return of Jesus and the need to repent.  If you haven't received the Lord Jesus as your Savior, please visit the How Can I Be Saved page of this website.  God bless you.
