ABC-7.com (excerpts) Sanibel Island, FL - Marine biologists from the Sanibel Sea School, as well as scientists from FGCU are saying red tide is back in full force.  They're saying that's what's responsible for killing hundreds of Mullet, Atlantic Spearfish and Angelfish in Estero Bay this weekend.  Biologists say more dead fish are headed toward Lee County Beaches.  Satellite images taken show the bloom just west of Sanibel and south near Bonita Springs.  It runs 40 miles long and 20 miles off shore.  Scientists say the reason this bloom is so threatening is because it is so close to shore, where there is less water and less oxygen, so the toxin has a bigger impact.  Red tide blooms of this concentration can cause widespread fish kills.

Commentary:  This, and many other unusual fish kills throughout the world in the last couple of years, highlight this prophecy found in Hosea 4:3, "The land will mourn and everyone that dwells in it will languish, with the beasts of the field, the fowls of heaven, yes, the fishes of the sea will also be taken away."  Massive numbers of birds have also died throughout the world in the last couple of years, more than usual.  This chapter of Hosea tells of events occurring in the last days.  If you believe the Word of God and you believe God's Word does not lie, you must know that we are living in the last days.  It is time to pray, repent - if necessary, and stay very close to God.  If you are not saved and you want more information, please visit the How Can I Be Saved page of this website.  God bless you.
