While witnessing to someone recently, I mentioned how that people in the world today are “incontinent,” just as the Bible tells us they would be in the last days. She said, “Aren’t you talking about old people who can’t hold their bladder?”

The first definition of the word in one dictionary states, “Not restrained; uncontrolled; incontinent rage.” Yes, it can also mean lack of bladder control, but that’s obviously not what the apostle was referring to as he wrote,

“This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come, for men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God” 2 Timothy 3:1-4.

Almost daily, we can read news headlines about a new “knockout” attack on someone. This is a fad among youth who are going around in public areas punching people out, in an attempt to knock them out with the first punch.

Kids are fashioning this after a popular video game called “Knockout,” and they are knocking out people just for the “fun of it.”

A Congresswoman, Grace Meng, is said to be one of the latest victims of “knockout.” She was struck in the head from behind and knocked out, as she walked home from the Capitol on Tuesday. The thug also stole her purse.

A Manhattan chef, Diego Moya, was also walking alone Tuesday evening, when he was assaulted by a group of young men between the ages of about 16 – 21. His nose was shattered and his jaw was broken, now wired shut, and he is unable to work until he heals.

A 19-year-old woman was punched at a Manhattan ATM.

A 72-year-old woman was also punched!

This is happening frequently throughout New York. Kids knock people out and flee, just for the “fun of it!”

The “knockout game” has already caused deaths in Syracuse, St Louis and New Jersey.

It is official, folks. It isn't very safe to walk alone outside at all anymore. Can we not see a spirit of "incontinent fierceness" among kids today?

News media outlets have also reported “flash mob thefts” committed by teens and young adults. They form a sizable mob and hit a store all at the same time, confusing employees and generally getting away because of their numbers. They have hit many stores, but mostly convenience stores.

DrudgeReport.com reported these headlines on black Friday: "mall mayhem; a shoplifter was shot dragging a cop through Kohl’s parking lot; brawls; woman uses stun gun in shopping fight; man stabbed over parking space; man shot walking home with big screen; shoppers trampled in race for $49 tablet; Salvation Army kettles stolen!"

Does it sound to you like we are living in the last days?

The truth is, it is really no longer safe to go out and shop during major shopping events, such as Black Friday. People out there are ready to steal from you and literally trample you under their feet to save a buck, or get to the shopping deals first! We are truly living in the last days; we are living in the perilous times spoken of by the apostle Paul, and the Lord could return at any time.
