Officials in Kashmir are warning residents to store two weeks worth of food and water and build bomb-proof, toilet equipped basements, enough to house their entire family in preparation for a possible nuclear conflict with Pakistan.  Residents were advised to build bunkers in their front yards, if they do not have a basement.

Local police informed residents to stock candles, battery-operated lights and radios and that stores of water and nonperishable food should be replaced at intervals to ensure freshness.  The advisory also said that motorists should jump out of their cars, toward the blast, to avoid being crushed by their vehicles before they begin tumbling away from the blast.

Warnings were published in the local newspapers, as deadly fighting along the ceasefire zone heightened tensions between the two countries.  Both India and Pakistan claim all of Kashmir territory and have fought two wars over it.

It appears that much of the Middle East is at war, with the India and Pakistan at war, Syria's civil war, Iran's threats against Israel, Russia's threat against Israel if they attempt to defend themselves against Iran, constant Palestinian threats with bombs launched against Israel, Egypt's civil conflicts, Sudan's threats against Israel in retribution for an attack against their arms factory, and the list goes on...

Jesus's disciples asked Him to tell them what would be the sign of His coming and the end of the world?  Jesus answered, "There shall be wars and rumors of wars. See that you be not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet; for nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places.  All these are the beginnings of sorrows" Matthew 24:6-8.

Jesus said, "...the end is not yet...all these are the beginnings of sorrows."  He said that when we see these things come to pass, "the end is near, even at the doors" Matthew 24:33.  Jesus actually said in Matthew 24, verse 14, "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come."

In other words, we would see wars, rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes and these are the beginning of sorrows - the end is near.  These things have been happening with greater intensity for years.  Verse 14, however, is the key to Christ's return, and that is that the gospel be preached to all nations.

Well, friends, with satellite technology and several Christian broadcasting stations televising the gospel around the world, into every nation today, the last prophecy has been fulfilled!  The Lord could come at any moment!

Have you received Jesus, the Son of God, as your Lord and Savior?  Are you prepared to stand before the Lord and give an account of the life you have lived on this earth?  If not, please visit the How Can I Be Saved page of this website.

Tomorrow could be too late. The Bible also says, "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" Hebrews 9:27.  After death, there are no more opportunities to choose, we must stand before the judgment seat of God.  If you aren't saved, I pray that you will make the right decision today.  God bless you.
