Media Matters for America is a politically progressive media watchdog group, which says it is "dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing and correcting conservative misinformation in the US media." Set up as a tax exempt nonprofit organization, MMfA was founded in 2004 by journalist and author David Brock. Media Matters for America defines "conservative misinformation" as "news or commentary presented in the media that is not accurate, reliable or credible and that forwards the conservative agenda."
MMfA started with the help of $2 million in donations from liberal philanthropists connected to the Democratic party. According to Byron York, additional funding came from MoveOn.org and and the New Democratic Network.
Before going any further with Wikipedia's description of this organization, some emphasis needs to be added on the fact that the organization is made up of Democratic progressives, and that says volumes right there. In other words, they are generally for Socialism, abortion - killing babies, gay rights - the "rights" of homosexual perverts to push and shove their immoral behaviors down our throats and into the minds of innocent children attending elementary schools, through liberal progressive initiatives that cram the homosexual lifestyle into every aspect of the lives of American citizens, even though those who live such immorally perverted lifestyles make up only about 2% of the US population, they are for BIG government - and everything that stands for the intimidation and hushed, near-silenced voices of the American people. With that said, we can continue with Wikipedia's definition of Media Matters for America:
Former Chief of Staff to President Bill Clinton, John Podesta, provided office space for Media Matters early in its formation at the Center for American Progress, a Democratic think tank that he created in 2002. Hillary Clinton advised Media Matters in its early stages. Media Matters hired numerous political professionals who had worked on presidential campaigns and for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In December 2010, Media Matters Action Network started EqualityMatters.org, a site in support of gay equality. Media Matters also runs the website DropFox.com and works to get advertisers to boycott the Fox News Channel. Fox News is a notably conservative news media channel.
In summary, if you believe that Media Matters is a nonprofit, unbiased media watchdog, you are sadly mistaken. Media Matters, from its inception, has walked arm and arm with, and is made up of Democratic progressives and they are particularly and fundamentally biased against conservatives and Republicans. A little after 1 pm on September 29, 2009, Karl Frisch emailed a memo to his bosses, Media Matters for America founder David Brock and president Eric Burns. In the first few lines, Frisch explained why Media Matters should launch a "Fox Fund" whose mission would be to attack the Fox News Channel. "Simply put," Frisch wrote, "the progressive movement is in need of an enemy. George W. Bush is gone. We really don't have John McCain to kick around anymore. Filling the lack of leadership on the right, Fox News has emerged as the central enemy and antagonist of the Obama administration, our Congressional majorities and the progressive movement as a whole. We must take Fox News head-on in a well funded, presidential-style campaign to discredit and embarrass the network, making it illegitimate in the eyes of new consumers."
Commentary: What we are talking about here is a propagandized media "watchdog," that is not really a watchdog at all. They are a media militia out to attack any media with conservative views and Godly morals. There are reports all over the internet about the Obama Administration and Media Matters "connection." Without going through all of the interesting reports and ties between Obama and Media Matters, it only stands to reason that if the Democratic Clintons were tied, why not Obama? Media Matters is certainly on the far left side of Obama and his administration, fighting for him all the way. At this point, you are probably asking yourself where Bible prophecy is linked to this article. The Apostle John wrote in 1 John 4:3 "...this is that spirit of antichrist, which you heard would come and is even now already in the world." This same spirit of antichrist works in the left liberal Democratic progressives today. Many of their key ideals are of the spirit of antichrist: abortion, homosexuality, liberalism, anti-God everything...you name it. This spirit worked in Antioch Epiphanies in 175 - 164 BC, as he slaughtered a pig (totally abominable) on the alter in the Holy Temple of God and outlawed the worship of God, ordering the worship of Zeus. Adolph Hitler had the spirit of antichrist in his quest to annihilate the Jews and take over the world. Joseph Stalin was an atheist and was labeled the all supreme commander; he was a megalomaniac and responsible for the deaths of 42 million people. The list goes on and these people were all wicked and full of the spirit of antichrist, in the sense that their ideals were against God and His holy Word; their deeds emanated the spirit of "antichrist." The Antichrist is yet to appear, but we have here again in this US administration the full spirit of antichrist in all of his ideals and antisemitism toward Israel. There are Media Matters type factions all over the US and linked to Obama. These groups seek to promote the murder of unborns, immorality, homosexuality, the moral corruption of America's children with their homosexual-push agenda in public schools, and a Socialist government, removing the freedom and rights of the people.
