Mt Etna, Europe's tallest and most active volcano, erupted Thursday, spewing hot lava and ash.  This is the volcano's sixth eruption in 2012.  The Sicilian volcano has erupted three times in the last month, with regular 12-day pauses, reported 7news. 

The eruption is not far from the Zafferana Etnea village, but Italian authorities have not issued a warning of danger to houses or people at this point.   

I find the "regular 12-day pauses" very interesting.  The number 12 in the Bible signifies completion and God's perfect government.  If you remember, there were 12 apostles, 12 tribes of Israel, a full year consists of 12 months, and the list goes on.  The Bible says, concerning the last days, "I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath, blood, fire and vapor of smoke" Acts 2:19.  All of the indicators point to the imminent return of the Lord, according to Bible prophecy.
