Mount Etna erupted on Sunday,
raining heavy ash and volcanic rocks throughout Sicily.
There have been no evacuations, but
some precautions have been taken at this point. Authorities closed two of four air
corridors serving Catania airport and a motorway was closed briefly.
The Bible says concerning the last
days,
“I will show wonders in heaven
above and signs in the earth beneath, blood, fire and vapor of smoke” Acts
2:19.
“And every island fled away and the
mountains were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven,
every stone about the weight of a talent and men blasphemed God, because of the
plague of hail, for the plague was exceeding great” Revelation 16:20-21.
Peter and John foretold that during
the great tribulation period, which is soon to come, these events would happen.
With volcanic activity on the rise, the signs described above could very well be
caused by volcanic eruptions on a grand scale.
