HuffingtonPost.com (excerpts): Houston megachurch leader Joel Osteen will soon be coming to a television near you - this time as the star of his own reality show. The preacher and his family have partnered with "Survivor" producer Mark Burnett for a show about Lakewood Church's mission trips, the Associated Press reports. The show which will focus on "people helping people," is expected to air sometime in 2012. Don Iloff, Lakewood spokesperson, told the Chronicle that the program will have a feel-good premise.
Commentary: This is not surprising at all and, unfortunately, as wonderful and uplifting as it all is, the Bible tells us about "feel-good" preachers - and the news isn't good. The half of God's Word that Joel Osteen does preach is truth and absolutely wonderful! The only problem is, he leaves out the other half, a half just as important as the "feel-good" half. With God, you take Him at His all - or nothing. With God's Son, the Savior of the world, you take Him at His all - or nothing. With God's Word, you take it in its entirety - or nothing. You can take only the "feel-good" half, but if you are not a follower of the entire Word of God, the "feel-good" half won't do you a bit of good. The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, before laying his neck on the chopping block for preaching the gospel, "Preach the Word of God; be instant in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine; for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears. They will turn away their ears from the truth and be turned to fables" 2 Timothy 4:2-4. Jesus preached about love, forgiveness and charity in all respects. There is no doubt Joel Osteen's reality program about charity will be a success and it is so needed in the world. Nevertheless, Jesus also preached and warned about disobedience to God and the punishment of hell ten times throughout His ministry. Joel Osteen refuses to preach against sin and he absolutely refuses to preach about the punishment of hell. He is not following the teachings of Christ, in that he preaches only a "feel-good" message and he refuses to warn those who will not forsake sin about the wrath of God and judgment to come. We need to pray for Joel Osteen, that he will repent and teach those who rely on his ministry the whole truth, not just the "feel-good" half. Jesus said, "Fear not those who can kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell" Matthew 10:28. You will never hear that message from Joel Osteen, unless he repents of the apostasy he has undertaken.

Unfortunately only one in four Americans with AIDS has the virus under control, according to a new CDC report. "The big picture is, we could do a lot better than we're doing today," said Dr. Tomas Friedan, the CDC's director. Why is the treatment success rate so low? Partly because of the 1.2 million Americans who have HIV, the infection that causes AIDS, 20% don't know they're infected. That's 240,000 people. People can have the infection for years without developing symptoms.
Commentary: There is not much being said about AIDS these days, but considering the facts above, it should cause a person to wonder why. Maybe it is because there are overpopulation concerns and strategists figure "leave it alone." Whether you hear the facts from American (propagandized) media or not, you need only consider what the Bible says to realize that without God on your side, the world is headed for destruction in these last days: "Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places" Matthew 24. God told Moses, "The blood will be a token on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you and the plague will not destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt" Exodus 12:13. The scriptures tell us that plagues, or pestilences if you will, are allowed by God against those who are wicked and disobedient. The "blood of the lamb" described in this scripture, was a type of the blood that the Savior, Jesus, would shed on the cross one day to cover our sins. Plagues do not come upon those who walk in righteousness before God; they are a scourge against the wicked. However, Salvation is offered to all who call on Jesus. Egyptians, instigated by the Muslim Brotherhood, burn Israeli flag.
Israel Today by Ryan Jones: In our current issue, Israel Today discusses the causes and ramifications of the Arab Spring - turned Islamic Winter. One of the obvious outcomes is that the kind of seething hatred for Israel, that is official policy in Iran, will spread to the rest of the region. It is already happening in Egypt. Israel and Egypt have always had a cold relationship, despite the fact that the two nations have officially been at peace since 1979. Israel and the Jews in general were regularly demonized in the Egyptian media during these years of "peace." Now with Islamists threatening to take over the country, Egypt is returning to the pre-Camp David years, during which it led the rest of the Muslim world in its quest to eradicate the Jewish presence from the Middle East. Evidence of this worrying trend surfaced on Friday, when the Muslim Brotherhood held a rally at one of Cairo's main mosques to mark the 1947 UN partition of the Palestine Mandate and the recognition of a Jewish state. During the event, speakers of the 5,000-strong mob repeatedly chanted a quote from the Qu'ran that states "one day we will kill all the Jews." Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Dr. Ahmed al-Teyeb told those gathered that "The al-Aqsa Mosque (on Jerusalem's Temple Mount) is currently under an offensive by the Jews...we shall not allow the Zionists to Judaize al-Quds (Jerusalem)." Other speakers had equally hateful words for the "Zionist occupiers" and the "treacherous Jews." The mob of worshipers responded with: "Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv, judgment day is coming!" An Egyptian elementary school teacher who participated in the mosque rally told a reporter with Israel's Ynet news portal that "all Egyptian Muslims are willing to embark on Jihad for the sake of ridding the region of a Jewish state. Attendees were given Muslim Brotherhood election campaign material following the anti-Israel rants. The rally came just two days before Monday's general election, Egypt's first since the overthrow of former dictator Hosni Mubarak in February. Foreign analysts expect the Muslim Brotherhood to win control of at least 40 percent of the parliament.
Commentary: The Bible tells us that all nations will come against Israel in the last days; we are living in the last days. All of his surrounding Arab nations hate Israel. The Bible says, "I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle and the city will be taken, the houses rifled, the women ravished; and half of the city will go into captivity; the residue of the people will not be cut off from the city. Then, the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle" Zechariah 14:2-3. Guess who wins the final battle? That's right, God, in behalf of His people Israel. All of this is just preparation for what is soon to come: The return of the Lord and the destruction of Israel's enemies, the enemies of God. God said, "I will bless those who bless you (Israel) and curse those who curse you, and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed" Genesis 12:3.

Bryant Elementary School. Huffington Post by Laura Hibbard: Three 10 and 11 year olds turned themselves into the Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit Tuesday and have each been charged with attempted rape and indecent sexual assault, WPVI reports. The victim was an eight-year-old male classmate, whom the three allegedly attacked in a bathroom at West Philadelphia's Bryant Elementary School. Capt. John Darby told the Associated Press the three boys were charged as juveniles and have been taken into police custody. "I felt helpless," the victim's mother told WPVI. "It took him almost seven hours to try to tell me what happened." During the police investigation, school officials ordered all students' travel to the restroom in pairs and a school counselor met with every class to discuss inappropriate behavior, according to Philly.com. Since the incident, the victim has been transferred to another school.
Commentary: In the 60's and 70's, teen pregnancy, abortion, date rape and gang rapes were rarely heard of. Today, common place. What happened? The public school system kicked God and prayer out of schools and brought sex education into the classrooms instead and things have gone down hill ever since - to the catastrophic proportions you see today. Twenty years ago, you heard of rapes (boy against girl), but with promotion of the homosexual and transvestite lifestyle (perversions) in public school classrooms today, it looks like now the little children are going to go after the same gender. It seems the public school officials should be charged with "rape" against the minds of children! Are you sick of the abominations against children in the public school systems? Conrad Murray sentenced four years.
Huffington Post (excerpts): Michael Jackson's personal physician was sentenced to four years imprisonment in an L.A. County jail on Tuesday, capping a more than two-year legal journey investigating the King of Pop's death. Conrad Murray, 58, stood stone-faced as Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor declared him an unfit candidate for probation and pronounced the sentence for involuntary manslaughter in Jackson's 2009 death, citing Murray's involvement in what the judge called a "cycle of horrible medicine." "He has absolutely no sense of remorse," the judge said. "Murray is and remains dangerous...I think Dr. Murray is so reckless that I believe he is a danger to the community."
Commentary: This "doctor," for a sum of money, disregarded the life of his patient, Michael Jackson. Dousing Michael day in and day out with a potent general anesthetic of the type that is only used in hospital settings, very criminal. For the love of money, this man jeopardized the life, and finally caused the untimely death of Michael Jackson. Michael's problem was having enough money to buy a physician's conscience (if Murray has one) to get any kind of drug he wanted. The Bible says, "The love of money is the root of all evil" 1 Timothy 6:10. "This know, that in the last days perilous times will come. Men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud..." 2 Timothy 3:1-2.

Commentary: Jesus said that great earthquakes would be one of the signs of His return. He said, "There will be great earthquakes in various places, famines, pestilences and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven" Luke 21:11. The graph below is very revealing. Notice the incredible spike in volume in 2011.

Al-Shabab terrorist.
Huffington Post by Abdi Guled (excerpts): Mogadishu, Somalia - The Somalian militant group al-Shabab on Monday banned 16 aid groups - including a half dozen UN agencies from central and southern Somalia. The banning of aid groups falls in line with the group's skeptical view of the outside world, but will worsen the suffering of the hundreds of thousands of Somalis who have come to depend on aid in the Horn of Africa country's worst famine since 1991-92. A year without rain wiped out crops and animal herds in southern Somalia, killing tens of thousands of people in the last six months and forcing tens of thousands more to flee as refugees. Witnesses in the towns of Beldweyne and Baidoa said armed, masked men entered aid offices Monday and seized equipment. The United Nations was preparing a statement in response to al-Shabab's closures, but didn't have an immediate comment. Al-Shabab carries out amputations, stonings and beheadings as punishment. The group also frequently recruits child fighters.
Commentary: If you were in the Horn of Africa with no water, no food, and little clothing and these terrorists were cutting off water and food to you and your children, as you were on the brink of death, would you like to hear that "The UN is preparing a statement?" Wouldn't you like to hear, "NATO is preparing to strike the al-Shabab terrorist groups that are blocking water and food to the dying?!" That's what I would want to hear - real fast! These people are dying, DYING! People in high places are actually figuring out ways to try to get rid of the masses, because they believe too many people inhabit the earth. This is a fact, whether you want to believe it or not. These people need emergency military help to survive, but nothing is being done for them. While President Barack Obama has sent US troops into Africa to hunt down a "Christian" militant somewhere, he is turning a deaf ear to the fact that these Muslim terrorists stand to cause the deaths of hundreds of thousands of pitiful people dying of thirst and hunger. Have you ever been thirsty? I mean real thirsty? It is the worst possible way to die. "Whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother has a need, and shuts up his bowels of compassion for him, how does the love of God dwell in him?" 1 John 3:17. "Better is a poor and wise child, than an old and foolish king (or president) who will no more be admonished" Ecclesiastes 4:13.

Commentary: There have been 4 major earthquakes (>5.9) in the last six days. Major earthquakes continue to climb and this graph shows the volume of earthquakes nearly going off the chart since last year. "The next year may prove even more problematic. Were the president to be completely unrestrained by the necessity of being reelected, I feel that far more damage might be done in several different areas." Among his concerns are the establishment of Sharia in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and Syria; the rise of Hezbollah in Lebanon and the strengthening of Hamas in Gaza.
Commentary: As Obama has worked feverishly to but into the Middle East conflicts and tear down governments, we see Sharia law instead. It all too obvious what President Obama's agenda has been since his inauguration, but the American people have done little to nothing to stop him. As despicable as it all is, he has actually helped fill the enemy's role in Bible prophecy. The Word of God says that, "I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle and the city will be taken and the houses rifled and the women ravished, and half of the city will go into captivity and the residue of the people will not be cut off from the city" Zechariah 14:2. According to Zechariah's prophecy, the nations will go to battle against Israel and take half of Jerusalem, just before the Lord returns to defend Israel. President Obama is helping Satan take his position against Israel in these last days, but we also need to remember, the nations against Israel will all be defeated. "You will fall on the mountains of Israel (those who come against Israel), you and all your bands and the people who are with you; I (God) will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured" Ezekiel 39:4.

New York Daily News by Aliyah Shahid: A Tennessee lawmaker is drawing intense criticism after calling for the removal of all Muslims serving in the US military. Republican State Representative Rick Womick first made the controversial remarks Friday during a conference on Islamic extremism in America. "Personally, I don't trust one Muslim in our military" and "if they truly are devout Muslims and follow the Qu'ran and Sunnah, then I feel threatened because they are commanded to kill me," the US Air Force veteran told Think Progress.
Commentary: We can all thank God, and thank God some more that we, here in the US, have one lone government official who is not deaf, mute, and blind by "political correctness." The man is absolutely 100% right and all of America needs to back him up. Of course, he is going to face "all of the forces out of hell" in Washington, DC for this, but it is absolutely the truth. This man is virtually standing alone in the political arena on this principal. No doubt, there are plenty of other officials who feel exactly the same, but they are too weak and afraid to say it. I hope everyone out there reading will take just a few moments to send Rep. Womick an email thanking him; he will certainly receive enough hate mail, and he needs our support.
