One of the starving children whose aid has been blocked by Muslim terrorists, but NO US troops have been deployed there to help! US troops have been ordered into Africa by US President Obama to locate and capture or kill a "Christian" terrorist.
WashingtonPost.com by Craig Whitlock and Greg Jaffe (excerpts): About 100 US troops ordered to Uganda by President Obama last month to help crush the cult-like Lord's Resistance Army will probably remain deployed until the group's leader is captured or dead, according to the top US commander for Africa. Army General Carter F Ham, the head of the US military's Africa Command, said most of the American forces have landed in Uganda and are beginning to coordinate the efforts of four central African countries, as they comb a huge expanse of jungle for Joseph Kony, the messianic founder of the Lord's Resistance Army. Kony and his rebels are accused of killing, maiming, kidnapping and raping thousands of civilians in Uganda, the Central African Republic, Congo and South Sudan. Obama administration officials have been vague about how long US forces will remain in central Africa. In Congressional testimony recently, a senior defense official said that the mission would last a matter of "months," but allowed that it would be reviewed over time. Ham said the plan is to keep troops in the region until Kony is killed or brought to justice. "That's the mission," Ham said in an interview during a visit to Washington last week.
Commentary: It is estimated that one million Christians have been killed by jihad (Muslim "holy war") in Africa in the last century (PoliticalIslam.com). Do you think Kony has even killed a quarter of a million people in central Africa? - very doubtful; yet while our bankrupt nation is chasing down a "Christian" terrorist for possibly killing thousands, Muslim jihadists have killed an estimated one million Christians in the last century. Do you wonder why Obama isn't chasing the Muslim killers in Africa, especially since they are currently blocking the water and food of hundreds of thousands who are dying of thirst and starvation in Africa? The facts should speak volumes to the reader of this post; we need say no more. "The wicked have drawn out the sword and have bent the bow (and arrow) to cast down the poor and needy, and slay those whose conversation is righteous" Psalm 37:14. "Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice for the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; rid them out of the hand of the wicked" Psalms 82:3-4. This is the Word of God, but apparently President Obama is too preoccupied with the "Christian" terrorist in Africa. He may very well be a terrorist, but it has not been reported that he is keeping water and food from hundreds of thousands of thirsty and starving at the moment. Does someone not have their (Muslim vs. professed "Christian") priorities straight? "Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees and who write grievousness which they have prescribed, to turn aside the needy from judgment and take away the right of the poor of My people..." Isaiah 10:1-2.

Israel Today by Ryan Jones (excerpts): Israeli officials on Wednesday said a decision by the UN Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO) to name Syria as the Arab representative to a committee on implementing human rights at a time when the Syrian regime is massacring its own citizens, further demonstrates the total irrelevance of the world body. Israeli media reported on Syria's promotion on Thursday, just one day after the UN had issued a report condemning the massacre of at least 3,500 Syrian prodemocracy activists and other civilians at the hands of Syrian government forces. "We are talking about an outrageous absurdity," one Israeli official told Israel radio. "UNESCO is legitimizing Syria [as a human rights champion] even as it is slaughtering its own people." The promotion of Syria, of all nations, to sit on a human rights advisory committee are, for most Israelis, the final nails in the coffin of the UN's legitimacy and relevance. Meanwhile, the mainstream international media completely ignored the story of Syria's hypocritical promotion at UNESCO.
Commentary: This site, for one, published the absurdity of not only Syria's election to the "human rights" committee, but the eight other brutal nations that are in constant violation of human rights, as well as three other major dictatorships, which sit on the committee as well. They are most certainly hypocritical and commonly tolerate many nations which not only violate human rights, but downright brutalize and torture their citizens - these are crimes against humanity! In that the Bible tells us that in the last days, a world dictator (the Antichrist) will have people beheaded for not taking his "number" to buy or sell, it is not shocking really, to see such ideology surfacing throughout the UN practices. "He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, bond and free to receive a mark in their right hand or their foreheads, that no man can buy or sell, except those who have the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom: let he who has understanding count the number of the beast; it is the number of a man and his number is six hundred, sixty-six" Revelation 13:16-18. "...I saw the souls of those that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither received his mark on their foreheads or in their hands..." Revelation 20:4. As radical and surreal as the actions of the UN are, they are right in line with Bible prophecy, and it won't be long before the world quickly moves into form with what has already been prophesied over 2,000 years ago.

Haaretz by Jack Khoury and Haaretz (excerpts): Russian warships are due to arrive at Syrian territorial waters, a Syrian news agency said on Thursday, indicating that the move represented a clear message to the West that Moscow would resist any foreign intervention in the country's civil unrest. The Arab League suspended Syria earlier this week over its deadly crackdown on an eight-month-old uprising. The 22 member body has proposed sending hundreds of observers to the country to try to help end the bloodshed. The report came a day after a draft resolution backed by Arab and European countries and the United States was submitted to the United Nations General Assembly, seeking to condemn human rights violations in the ongoing violence in Syria. Jordan, Morocco, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia were among the Arab states that joined Germany, Britain and France to sponsor the draft submitted to the assembly's human rights committee. In Washington, the State Department spokesman Mark Toner said the US would sign on as a cosponsor of the resolution. The draft demanded an end to violence, respect of human rights and implementation by Damascus of a plan of action of the Arab league. The move comes as clashes escalated in Syria and after Russia and China used their veto in October to block a Security Council resolution that would have condemned the Syrian government of president Bashir for the violence. The UN says that more than 3,500 people have been killed since unrest erupted in the spring against Assad.
Commentary: In that the United States has already committed to "sign as cosponsor" the resolution presented by the Arab League, it is extremely preemptive that Russia would make such a move as send warships to Syria - unless there is an ulterior motive. Russia has already issued strong warnings against possible US intervention against Iran's nuclear progress [with Iran's threats against Israel]. It appears that Russia may have a much weightier reason than to just "watch over" Syria with warships at this time. Russia denies the allegations, but intelligence reports have implicated the Russian scientist, Vyacheslav Danilenko, in assisting Iran with technology necessary to build a nuclear weapon. They deem the current situation in Syria a viable excuse to send warships to Syrian waters, but it is flimsy at best. The Word of God tells us in Ezekiel 38, that a "large company from the North, Magog (modern Russia), will come against Israel in the latter days," but that God will defend His people. No one can say how quickly this battle will move forward, but it is a certainty, according to the Word of God, and this is the start of a prophetic presence in the Middle East, which should peak all of our interests. We are living in the last days before the return of the Lord. All of the prophetic signs were foretold by Jesus in Matthew 24. "Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places" Matthew 24:7 (there is much more to read in Matthew 24 about the signs of the return of Jesus).

IsraelNationalNews (excerpts): Israeli Ambassador to France Yossi Gal was summoned by the French Foreign Ministry Wednesday to receive a tongue lashing about Israel's air strike Sunday in Gaza. The IDF retaliated against the Palestinian Authority terrorists who were raining mortar shells and rocket fire on cities and towns in southern Israel for days. One Hamas "police officer" was killed in the raid and four other members of the terrorist organization were wounded; but it turned out that the French Consulate, his wife and 13-year-old daughter were also living in the area where the targeted terrorists chose to hide. All three were hit by flying shrapnel during Sunday night's air strike. "We reminded the Israeli Ambassador how much we deplore the consequences of this raid for the head of our consulate and his family," French Foreign Ministry spokesman Bernard Valero in a routine internet briefing following Gal's meeting, Reuter's reported. "While we need to recognize Israel's need to ensure its security, [the ambassador] was reminded about the importance of keeping civilians and the French presence in Gaza from being affected."
Commentary: There is an old saying, "lie with dogs and get fleas." Instead of ranting at Israel's Ambassador to France about Israelis defending themselves against the barrage of attacks against Israel from Gaza, you would think that not only would France understand the very elementary fact that Israel must defend himself, but that they would be embarrassed by the fact that they are caught "lying in bed" with such terrorists in Gaza! What are the French doing in Gaza anyway? No decent country would put an ambassador there. It is only necessary and decent that nonviolent people live apart from terrorists, of course, that is if they themselves are truly not terrorists also. The Word of God in I Corinthians 15:33 says, "Don't be deceived; evil communications corrupt good manners."

HuffingtonPost.com (excerpts): Reno, NV - A cloud of smoke settled over upscale homes and horse pastures at Reno's edge Friday, as firefighters from across Nevada came close to taming a sudden wildfire that sent 16 people to hospitals and destroyed or damaged 25 homes. The unexplained blaze also gave a firefighter first and second degree burns and was blamed for the death of a 74-year-old man who had a heart attack while trying to flee, but authorities said the worst was likely over. Reno Fire Chief Mike Hernandez said firefighters had largely contained the blaze that sent nearly 10,000 people from their homes in the middle of the night. The cause of the blaze wasn't known, but a downed power line, or homeless encampments in the area might be to blame, Hernandez said. He said the region is also popular for teenagers who might have started the fire to stay warm. At least 400 firefighters from as far as 260 miles away flocked to Reno early Friday, as multiple fires roared up from the Sierra Nevada foothills in northwestern Nevada and spread to the valley floor. Flames reached 50 feet high and embers pushed by the wind traveled up to a mile. Police went house to house pounding on doors and urging residents to evacuate in the dark of the night. Hernandez said residents ran from their homes dressed in pajamas, frantically trying to grab as many possessions as possible. One elderly man dressed in his underwear ran out with a blanked wrapped around his body. "The people are in a state of shock and are hanging in there" Gov. Brian Sandoval said. More than 4,000 NV customers lost power as poles and electrical wires were scorched and knocked down, said spokeswoman Faye Anderson. "The next 24 hours with the power lines down and everything else, it is still a very very dangerous area," Reno Mayor Bob Cashell said.

Commentary: Some fires are still raging, even though the fire season has technically ended. For the last two years, record-breaking fires have surged throughout the US, Russia and Mexico. The losses are tragic and we need to pray for people who are suffering during such upheaval throughout the world. We need to pray for people to contemplate their eternal destinies and that they will call on the Lord for salvation and help, as well as for their comfort and restoration of losses. The warning signs of the Lord's return, as foretold in the Bible, are occurring in many nations. Just as these people were running out of their homes with their pajamas on, and in one case, not much of anything, people really need to be running to God for help and salvation, if they don't know the Lord. The Bible says, "You will be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, earthquake, great noise, with storm and tempest and the flame of devouring fire" Isaiah 29:6. Nevertheless, God is merciful, with abundant mercy, for it is written: "It will come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" Acts 2:21.

USGS: A 6.0 major earthquake and two other >5.0 earthquakes hit off the east coast of North Island, New Zealand on Friday, November 18, 2011. The 6.0 quake hit at 07:51:27 UTC, at a depth of 26.8 km (16.7 mi); the 5.7 quake hit at 04:34:07 UTC, at a depth of 20.1 km (12.5 mi); and the 5.2 quake hit at 02:43:54 UTC, at a depth of 18.4 km (11.4 mi).
Commentary: There have been two major (>6.0) quakes in the past eight days, although there have been 33 quakes (over 5.0 magnitude) within the last eight days, some of which are close to a 6.0 major magnitude. Jesus said these would be the signs of His return in the last days, "Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places" Matthew 24:7. HuffingtonPost by Christopher Bodeen (excerpts): While Beijing's public response to President Barack Obama's more muscular China policy has been muted, behind the scenes the US President's sudden moves to contest rising Chinese power are setting the Capital on edge. During his ongoing nine-day swing through the Pacific-Asia region, Obama has already unveiled a plan for an expanded US Marines presence in Australia, advocated a new free trade area that leaves China out, and called on Beijing not to buck the current world order. The Beijing government is trying to understand the shift, tasking academic experts to review the initiatives and submit options on how to respond. "The US is overreacting," said Zhu Feng, an international relations expert at Peking University, who was asked to study Washington's moves and make recommendations. He said the government may feel bewildered by the Obama initiatives. Meanwhile, state media are warning of a new US containment strategy. Obama is also pushing for the rapid expansion of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a US backed free trade agreement that so far has drawn mostly smaller countries. Japan and Canada have expressed interest in joining, while Beijing has been left out. A Chinese foreign ministry spokesman called it natural for the US and Australia to improve relations, just as China wants to do with each, but said such "improvements should take into consideration the interests of other countries."
Yu Wanli of Peking University's School of International Studies said many Chinese would likely view Obama's new posture as a betrayal of that professed partnership and that could narrow Beijing's options, forcing a tougher response. "Public opinion may put the Chinese government in an embarrassing situation," said Yu, who specializes in US-China relations. A reliably nationalistic media that pander to the Chinese sense of patriotism and deep-seated suspicion of the US have already sounded the alarm. The Global Times, a tabloid owned by the Communist Party's People's Daily newspaper hit hard on the theme of besiegement. It quoted a People's Liberation Army major general as saying that the expanded US training and deployment base in Australia was one of a series of US installations to "encircle China from the north to the south of the Asia-Pacific region." In a separate article entitled "Six ways of countering the eastward movement of American strategy," the Global Times alleged the US was seeking to weaken China by nurturing hostile forces within the country, while wreaking Beijing's relations with its neighbors. It suggested Beijing reduce its massive purchases of US government debt - which have helped keep US interest rates low - to get Washington to stop meddling in the South China Sea, where China is asserting claims to islands, reefs, atolls contested by five other governments. "As long as we stick to our guns, time will be on our side," it said.

Commentary: It isn't wise to Antagonize a nation that holds about 1 trillion dollars of your national debt, and which you trade intricately with. Obama knows this, but if he can't further bankrupt America with his recent fury of spending, because the House would not allow it, it seems he will instigate our largest debt holder into making a much greater dent in our economic crisis. He recently suggested that China "grow up" and act responsibly; he was also quoted as saying, "The notion that we fear China is mistaken;" he went on to say that he "will speak candidly to Beijing about upholding human rights." At the same time, Obama is bringing Muslims into the US by the tens of thousands (80,000+) and he has sent 700 billion dollars to help beautify mosques in the Middle East, while the Muslims over there are beheading people, chopping peoples limbs off, stoning people, killing women in the name of "family honor," and burning churches and their parishioners alive in the name of Allah! Even though China has definite problems, Obama is not the one to say anything about their "human rights" issues. He has effectively "drawn a line in the sand" with China and antagonized them openly without provocation. China has been communist China for decades; why the ruckus against them now? Knowing the consequences, it would appear to be his socialist agenda underneath the surface. "These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts and their mouths speak great swelling words, having the admiration of men because of advantage" Jude 1:16. As irrational and irritating Obama's moves are (not that he would send troops to Australia, but that he would deliberately and openly antagonize China in this way), they are actually prophetic. Jesus said that these will be the signs of His return in the last days: "Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places" Matthew 24:7.

South Carolina damage HuffingtonPost.com by Mitch Weiss and Michael Bieseker(excerpts): Lexington, NC - A day after deadly tornadoes struck the southwest, survivors looked for what they could salvage, huddled in loved ones' hospital rooms and shared stories of how they made it through the furious storms. Some were also mourning. People in a hard-hit North Carolina neighborhood marked the spot where a three-year-old girl's body was found with an American flag. The little girl and her grandmother were among six killed in three states Wednesday. The two were alone in a small house in a rural area south of Lexington when the storm hit, leaving behind only the foundation. The house's splintered remains were scattered hundreds of feet. The family's Dodge minivan ended up propped against a nearby tree, its windows smashed and roof caved in. Firefighters and volunteers searched for the girl, whose name wasn't immediately released, for more than two hours before finding her buried in a pile of shattered lumber and furniture. "She was just beautiful - big blue eyes and so sweet," said Maegan Chriscoe, whose daughter played with the young victim. Elsewhere, the storms killed three people in South Carolina, and a Georgia motorist died when a tree crushed his SUV in north Atlanta. Dozens more were injured across the region, scores of buildings were damaged, and thousands were without power. Meteorologists confirmed Thursday that tornadoes had struck Louisiana and Alabama a day earlier and twisters were suspected in Mississippi, Georgia and the Carolinas. "It looked like the 'Wizard of Oz,'" Henry Taylor said, describing a funnel cloud outside his home near Rock Hill, South Carolina. "It was surreal, and for a moment, a split second, you say to yourself 'This ain't real,' then reality sets in, and you know it is." The 50-year-old Taylor said he and his wife sought refuge in a closet as the storm roared. Part of his roof was torn off, windows were blown out and trees had been snapped in two, but he and his wife escaped injury. "I held my wife closely in the closet and I prayed. I said, 'Oh my God, this is it. I'm going to be buried in the debris. We're going to die,'" Taylor said Thursday, wiping back tears.
In Alabama, the National Weather Service confirmed that tornadoes hit communities in the western and central parts of the state and continued to assess a suspected twister that demolished mobile homes at a pair of housing parks near Auburn University. The campus was spared major damage. It was the worst bout of weather for the state since about 250 people were killed during a tornado outbreak in April.
Commentary: The Bible says we will experience storms, tempests and earthquakes in these last days, in that God is warning us that the return of Jesus is near. It is time to get ready to face God. "You will be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, earthquake, and great noise with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire" Isaiah 29:6. Various parts of the world have experienced record breaking fires in the last two seasons; all of the prophecies are being fulfilled. Jesus said that before His return there would be signs, "There will be great earthquakes in various places, famines and pestilences, and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven" Luke 21:11. The Bible says, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" Acts 2:21. MailOnline by Richard Hartley-Parkinson and Mark Duell: A Muslim father charged with murdering his three daughters in apparent honor killings has said he would do it again - even if they came back to life 100 times. Mohammad Shafia, 58, cursed his daughters Zainab 19, Sahar 17, and Geeti 13, saying they were "treacherous" as he likened them to prostitutes during a conversation that was recorded by police. He is on trial for their murders after they were found dead in the family car, along with Shafia's first wife, Rona Amir, 50, in the Rideau Canal, located in the Kingston area of Ontario, Canada, in 2009. Initially police thought the family had been involved in an accident, and Shafia told them during an interview that he didn't know where they were. However, his version of accounts did not add up and he was arrested and charged with their murder. Shafia, who moved to Canada from Afghanistan with his family is polygamous and after his arrest, was heard telling his second wife, Tooba Yahya, that their daughters had brought shame on the family. He said, "Even if, God forbid, they hoist us on to the gallows...we accept it wholeheartedly," a day after his arrest. The court heard the recordings in which Shafia talks about his daughters and the fact that they were dating while ranting about the family's honor. Zainab had married her boyfriend - a Pakistani man - angering Shafia and causing family turmoil. After Yahya said she knew Zainab was "already done" but wished "the two others weren't." He responded, saying, "No Tooba, they were treacherous." Tooba Yahya, 41, and their son, Hamed, 20, are both on trial with him facing charges of first degree murder. Hamed has denied even being at the death scene. All three have pleaded not guilty to murder. Speaking about pictures of his daughter, he said he was consoled. "It isn't harder than watching them every hour with boyfriends. For this reason, whenever I see those pictures, I am consoled. I say to myself, 'You did well. Would they come back to life 100 times, for you to do the same again.'" He also says that the family had been violated in the worst possible way. He added, "May the devil...(defecate) on their graves. Is that what a daughter should be? Would a daughter be such a whore?" The jury has also seen graphic underwater video in which a pair of legs can be seen in the murky water. One of the victim's heads can be seen facing down with hair obscuring her face, according to the Canadian Press; while blankets, a yellow bag, a body and victim's hand are visible on the passenger side. There was nobody in the driver's seat. Shafia's first wife Rona and Sahar were seen on the back seat, their heads touching. One of the windows was open on the car, but it appears that no attempts had been made by any of the victims to escape the vehicle. The family was returning from a trip to Niagara Falls when it ended up in the canal and all the victims were found to have drowned. However, prosecutors don't know if it was the canal or elsewhere. Three of them had bruising to the back of their heads. Shafia and Yahya had seven children in total. The three not involved in the court case were placed in care after their parents were arrested, reported the Globe and Mail. They dated boys and one was their mother? Unbelievable! Wherever there are Muslims, there are tragic "honor" killings, stonings, decapitations, mutilations and loss of limbs. The three seem to go hand-in-hand, torture/tragic deaths/Muslims. The Antichrist, who will soon come on the "worldwide stage" is said to "...have no regard for the desire of women..." Daniel 11:37. We know with almost certainty that the Antichrist will be a Muslim leader, their awaited Mahdi (messiah). The penalty for not accepting this Antichrist leader is beheading, "...and I saw the souls of those who were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast or his image, neither received his mark on their foreheads or in their hands..." Revelation 20:4. It is already happening to Christians all over the world now. They are right now being beheaded just for being a Christian in Muslim nations today. This has happened in all Muslim nations for many years! Furthermore, they are waiting for their Mahdi to arrive, to be adored by everyone; and those who refuse him? They will be beheaded. It is spoken of Hadith vol 1, no. 234; vol 4, no. 260; vol 8 no. 796 (too many passages to elaborate). Muhammad, their prophet, is said to have burned out the eyes of resistors of Islam with hot irons and denied them water until they died. These are all very cruel, horrifying deaths, but this is the type of retribution ordered in the Hadith (Muslim "holy" book). We are on the verge of the return of Jesus and that is why you are seeing what you see in the world today, with the rise of Islam and the Muslim nations at war. Rocket fired into Israel from Gaza.
Israel Today by Ryan Jones: Palestinian terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip fired two rockets into southern Israel on Tuesday, one of which slammed into the storage room of a local kindergarten. The kindergarten reportedly sustained serious damage, but fortunately there were no casualties, as the attack took place after school hours. Israel responded with an aerial assault on terror targets in Gaza, including a tunnel that was being dug under the Gaza security fence in order to facilitate a terrorist infiltration of southern Israel. Tuesday's rocket fire was a continuation of the escalating attacks emanating from Gaza over the past two months. Israeli Chief of Staff Lt. General Benny Gantz told the Kenesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that the situation in Gaza will soon necessitate a large scale military operation. "Eventually we will have to employ operational activity," said Gantz, promising that the next Gaza incursion will be premeditated, organized and swift. "For the next clash, we will need to shorten the combat duration as much as possible. Commentary: Our nation and any other nation in the world would have already wiped Gaza off the face of the map. Our US government would never put up with such a thing day after day, with only a mild defense, such as Israel puts out. If Mexico or Canada attacked the US in such a way, the perpetrator would not exist any longer; we all know that. Yet, because Israel is surrounded by so many enemies who hate him, he has been extremely patient, and the haters still criticize Israel! The Word of God tells us that God's patience wears out with Palestine and here is what He said through the prophet Ezekiel about 2,600 years ago concerning these last days, "Thus says the Lord God, Because the Philistines (same as Palestinians) have dealt by revenge and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it (Israel) for their old hatred; therefore, says the Lord God: Behold, I will stretch out my hand upon the Philistines and I will cut off the Cherethims and destroy the remnant of the sea coast (Gaza)" Ezekiel 25:15-16. They will have taunted Israel with their last rocket sometime in the near future, according to the prophet, and not one of his words have "fallen to the ground" yet!
