DailyTelegraph.com.au (excerpts): The men who killed the al-Qaeda leader chief have decided to speak out because they are tired of their "shabby treatment" by politicians who claim they were on a "kill mission." They insisted there was no lengthy gunfight in the compound and claimed they would have captured bin Laden if he had surrendered, The Sunday Times in the UK reports. They were not on a "kill mission," they said, and fired only 12 bullets during the entire operation. The details of the mission which was codenamed Operation Neptune's Spear, are revealed in a book by the Seals' former commander Chuck Pfarrer. "I've been a Seal for 30 years and I never heard the words 'kill mission.' It's a fantasy word. If it was a kill mission, you wouldn't need Seal Team 6; you need a box of hand grenades." He said the men were angry with President Barack Obama for announcing bin Laden's death on TV just hours after they completed the mission on May 1. "There isn't a politician in the world who could resist trying to take credit for getting bin Laden, but it devalued the 'intel' and gave time for every other al-Qaeda leader to scurry to another bolthole," he said. "The men who did this and their valorous act deserve better. It's a pretty shabby way to treat these guys."
Commentary: No surprise at all that these brave and honorable men are disgusted with the president and the manner in which he handled the whole bin Laden episode all the way down the line. Our intelligence knew where bin Laden was for over a year, but the order was never given to kill him. Just about the time Obama was launching his 2012 presidential campaign, he desperately needed a boost to his image when he gave the order to invade bin Laden's compound. His near immediate speech was riddled with "I directed," "I determined," "At my direction...most significant achievement" "I, I, I..." He gloated so much during his speech that it was intolerable to listen to the entire report, and it hadn't even been revealed yet by the Seals that his televised announcement compromised the intelligence of their operatives in Afghanistan. The only consolation we, as a nation, have now is to make an intelligent vote in November 2012. "Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall" Proverbs 16:18. If Barack Obama wins the next election, we will know by default that the nation will continue on its downward fall.

Responding to repetition in the media that Israel has decided that the "military option" is the only way to stop Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon, an Iranian legislator was quoted by the state-run Fars News Agency as saying, "Before (being able to take) any action against Iran, the Israelis will feel our wrath in Tel Aviv." Hossein Ebrahimi, a member of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said, "Since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution the US, UK and Israel have frequently threatened Iran...This is not a new development. The Israelis entered the (Lebanon) war with the capabilities they had, but earned nothing but humiliation," Ebrahimi said. "I do not think that the Israelis along with Americans and Britons will commit such a folly. If the threat is carried out, they will see the political might of the Islamic establishment, the solidarity of the Iranian nation and the strength of the country."
Media reports of an imminent Israeli attack on Iran crop up at least twice a year, with different predictions on when Iran will possess a nuclear weapon. It possesses enough enriched uranium to manufacture two to four nuclear weapons, according to various experts. With each rumor, there is less time to stop Iran from obtaining an atomic bomb, which the Islamic Republic constantly denies it seeks. Different interpretations over the weekend pointed to mild American reactions to the reports that most, if not all, Israeli ministers have removed previous objections to a military attack. During the period of the Obama administration's attempt to "engage Iran," the Iran regime has built nuclear plants deep underground in rocky areas that make it difficult, if not impossible to attack, except through a strike mounted by anti-regime agents in Iran.
Commentary: God said by the mouth of the prophet Ezekiel, "There is Elam (Iran today) and all her multitude about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit" Ezekiel 32:24. At some point, according to God's Word, Iran will be utterly destroyed in these last days. Ahmadinejad speaks constant threats against God's people Israel and the judgment of God against Iran for their hatred and terror against Israel will come to pass. Whether it will happen during the upcoming battle of Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38), or sometime before, we can't be certain; but the destruction of Iran for her sins against God and His people Israel is coming - and it may be sooner than later.

The slide contrasts two identical areas of Southeast Asia taken on November 12, 2008 and November 1, 2011. Captured by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer on NASA's Terra satellite, the images show Thailand. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) estimates that around 200,000 hectares (~494,000 acres) of farmland have been affected by the floods across the country. The urban economy also has been thrown into flux with an estimated 1,000 factories affected. The country is a manufacturing hub for hundreds of electronics companies. The IUCN expects total economic losses from the disaster to exceed $3 billion. Commentary: There has been major flooding throughout the United States, ruining massive crops; there have been devasting floods in Australia, China, Mexico, Southeast Asia, to name a few areas throughout the world. The floods and storms have been record-breaking, not to mention the astronomical rise in earthquakes since only last year (see the graph below), and there have been 56 volcanic eruptions so far in 2011 (volcano.si.edu/world/find_eruptions.cfm). FoxNews.com by Todd Starnes (excerpts): Republican lawmakers and conservative activists are expressing outrage after the Obama administration announced its objection to adding President Franklin Roosevelt's D-Day prayer to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. The objection was noted during a congressional hearing on Rep. Bill Johnson's (R-Ohio) bill -- the "World War II Memorial Prayer Act of 2011." "It is unconscionable that the Obama administration would stand in the way of honoring our nation's distinguished World War II veterans," Johnson said. "President Roosevelt's prayer gave solace, comfort and strength to our nation and our brave warriors as we fought against tyranny and oppression." Roosevelt asked the nation to join him in prayer as US and allied troops launched the invasion that led to the defeat of Nazi Germany. He asked God to give the allied troops courage and faith, saying, "With Thy blessing we shall prevail over the unholy forces of our enemy." Robert Abbey, the director of the Bureau of land management said any plaque or inscription of the prayer would "dilute" the memorial's central message and therefore "should not be altered." "It is not a judgment as to the merit of this new commemoration, simply that altering the memorial in this way, as proposed in HR2070, will necessarily dilute this elegant memorial's central message and its ability to clearly convey that message to move, educate and inspire its many visitors," Abbey said in written testimony. Johnson told Fox News that the administration's objection should "give all American's a great deal of concern." "For there to be objections to demonstrating a faith in God at critical points in our nation's history, particularly D-Day, boggles my mind," Johnson said. "I was very surprised they were going to object." Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council said it's not all that surprising. "This is further evidence that the administration has created an environment that is hostile towards American history, but in particular towards Christianity," Perkins told Fox News. "I hope America wakes up and realizes what this administration is doing to this country and how they want to radically and fundamentally change America." "They want to erase every aspect of America's heritage," Perkins said of Obama's administration. "Any president, any official in history that has embraced Christianity, is no longer welcome in this administration. That's the environment they are creating." Johnson's bill, which had bipartisan support, is expected to pass a committee vote and he anticipates the full House will support the legislation.

Commentary: There is a prevalent spirit of antichrist working in the world today, which will only get stronger and more dominant as we approach the second coming of the Lord; this is prophetically foretold in the scriptures (1 John 2:18). When President Obama went to make a speech at Georgetown University in April 2009, he asked that the university staff cover up a monogram symbolizing Jesus's name in Gaston Hall, where he presented his speech. The university obliged and covered up the name of Jesus; they should have said, "This is a Catholic University and if you don't want Jesus, you're not welcome here! This goes on and on throughout Obama's administration. "Who is a liar? Isn't it he who denies Jesus is Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son" 1 John 2:22. By the way, Muslims do not believe that God had a son, nor do they believe that Jesus was God in the flesh. They believe he was a prophet, but not the savior. They are still waiting for their "savior" to come.

Huffington Post: Washington - It was a blunder of Biblical proportions. While House spokesman Jay Carney invoked scripture Wednesday to back up President Barack Obama's suggestion that God wants policymakers to get busy and create more jobs. Carney said Obama was trying to make the point that "we have it within our capacity to do the things to help the American people." "I believe the phrase from the Bible is, "The Lord helps those who help themselves," Carney said. (Well no, not really.)
A White House transcript of Carney's briefing issued later in the day included the disclaimer. "This common phrase does not appear in the Bible." Obama started the debate earlier in the day when he took note of House action reaffirming "In God We Trust" as the country's motto. "I trust in God, but God wants to see us help ourselves by putting people back to work," the president said.
Commentary: If they knew the scripture like they should know it, they wouldn't have to be embarrassed. They need to live it, not just speak it with their mouth: "Be doers of the Word, not hearers only, deceiving your own selves" James 1:22. When we are really interested in what God thinks, we study His Word to avoid reproaching the Lord; when we read it, it sinks down into our heart and we live it. Those foreign to God and His Word shouldn't go around trying to quote it. "Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman who is not ashamed, rightly dividing (knowing how to interpret) the Word of truth" 2 Timothy 2:15.

Fox News by Joy Lin: Charges of anti-Muslim discrimination at Catholic University in D.C. has presidential candidate Newt Gingrich up in arms. "I look at the things that are going on in this country that make no sense to me," he said to a crowd of about 250 South Carolinians gathered at a pig roast fundraiser organized by the Myrtle Beach Tea Party. "We now have a lawsuit apparently by some Muslim students at Catholic University who are offended being at a Catholic university. Now my first answer to them is "Fine, don't go to a Catholic university." His comments drew applause. Gingrich was referring to allegations that Catholic University of America is illegally discriminating against Muslim students by "denying them access to benefits that other student groups enjoy," and, in particular, not providing space for daily prayers, so that they have to pray in classrooms or campus chapels where they are surrounded by Catholic symbols. The charges are currently being reviewed by the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights.
Commentary: That's about as suitable as these Muslims going into a McDonald's at lunchtime and saying, "Hay, where are we going to pray! You need to get out of our way and make room for us to pray, or we are going to sue you!" Fact of the matter is, that is exactly what they are doing all over America. Their benefactors have "oil money," nonstop funds to sue, sue, sue, and wear everyone down and out of money, until they get everything they want, including Sharia law! According to former Muslims who have been converted, the Muslims have resolved that they will defeat America and bring her into submission by her own laws, and they laugh at us (source: Walid Shoebat, former Muslim terrorist). The Bible says, "Don't give place to the devil" Ephesians 4:27. "Your encouraging is not good. Don't you realize that a little yeast makes the whole loaf rise?" I Corinthians 5:6. In other words, we should never give the devil and inch; he will take a mile! In fact, we have already stepped aside to give these people their way in so many situations, it is almost becoming illegal to be a Christian in America and that's exactly what they want. These Muslims are not here to learn at a Catholic University, they are deliberately here to bring about discord and win the disputes. That is what they are doing all over America. The Bible also says that God hates six things, and He names them, and the seventh thing is an abomination. Do you remember what the seventh thing is that God hates? "...he who sows discord among the brethren" Proverbs 6:19. Do you believe that God knew exactly what the apostates would be doing in the world today?

Washington Times by Joseph Curl (excerpts): Michelle is back and she's madder than ever. She was already pretty angry, seemingly unhappy with just about everything. As her husband wrapped up the Democratic nomination in 2008, she let fly her real feelings: "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country." A few months into her job as First Lady, her French counterpart asked how she liked the gig: "Don't ask!" she reportedly spat. "It's hell, I can't stand it." She even seems to be mad at her silver-tongued husband. When the two were to set off on a luxurious 10-day vacation to Martha's Vinyard, she left early - four hours early - and flew up alone. And those private vacations. She's traveled to some of the world's most plush resorts, taking 42 days off in the past year - that would be eight weeks of vacay time if she held down a normal job. Now she's ready to spew her bilious disgust with America on the campaign trail.
Commentary: It should be no shock. You could say, "Like pastor, like parishoner." If you have ever heard Michelle Obama's pastor for 20 years, Jeremiah Wright, you would know much about how she really feels. After all, can you sit and listen to anyone preach for 20 years and not agree with most of what they are preaching? Jeremiah Wright is famous for having said, "America is still the number 1 killer," "G-d da-n America for killing innocent people," "G-d da-n America for threatening citizens," "G-d da-n America as long as she tries to act like G-d." This man is not a real pastor; pastors don't act like this. The man is violent in his manner of speaking and takes God's Holy name in vain in a vicious way. He is bigoted and very anti-American - he should really get out of America, since he hates it here so much, and his parishoners should get out too. It's unimaginable how US citizens voted in a president that didn't mind listening to anti-American hate speech for 20 years! Imagine hearing this man for 20 years. Now you know the real mindset of Barack and Michelle Obama. The Bible says, "Will not God search this out? He knows the secrets of the heart" Psalm 44:21. "God will bring every work into judgment, every secret thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil" Ecclesiastes 12:14.

Fox Nation by Todd Stames: Lorna Jose Mendoza has been given a choice. She can either assist in an abortion this week at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, or she could refuse and risk losing her job. Mendoza is one of a dozen nurses who filed suit today against the hospital - accusing them of violating federal and state law by forcing them to assist in abortions against their religious and moral objections. "The hospital told the nurses they have no regard for their religious beliefs," said Matthew Bowman, an attorney with the Alliance Defense Fund. "They were going to be assigned these abortions or they would be terminated." Commentary: Isn't this tragic; these are little babies just waiting to mature and be born. They are human being and research has proven they have feelings and they feel pain! Doctors are all required to take the Hippocratic Oath in order to practice medicine. Historically, not only did the oath include that the doctor "will never do harm to anyone," but it also included a covenant "not to cause an abortion." Oh how man has fallen from his original course to preserve life and regard the sanctity of it. The Bible says, "He who kills any man will surely be put to death" Leviticus 24:17. So, all of these people who perform abortions have been given the death penalty by God, a Biblical fact. The only redemption for this verdict is to receive Jesus, the Son of God, as Lord and Savior - He paid the price for the sins of everyone on the cross, we only need to repent and receive His free gift of salvation. Fox Nation by Todd Stames: The House of Representatives passed a bipartisan resolution Tuesday night reaffirming "In God We Trust" as the official motto of the United States. The 396-9 vote came at the request of Representative Randy Forbes (R-VA) - in part over President Obama's refusal to correct remarks he made that misstated the motto as "E pluribus unum" instead of "In God We Trust." The bipartisan resolution not only affirms "In God We Trust" as the national motto, but it also "encourages its display in public buildings and government institutions." "There's been no motto in US history that's been more inspirational than "In God We Trust," he said, noting that he felt it was appropriate for members of Congress to "firmly declare our trust in God."
Congressmen who voted against "In God We Trust:" Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-NY), Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich), Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA), Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO), Rep. Mike Honda (D-CA), Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA), Rep. Bobby Scott (D-VA), Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA). Voting present were Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), and Rep. Melvin Watt (D-NC).
Commentary: Many of us pray often that God will touch the hearts of the leaders of the United States. We know that E pluribus unum means "one out of many" and alludes to a one world government. Apparently the House is clear in letting Obama know they are not interested in his "new world order.," at least by his interpretation. Let's trust they are reading God's Holy Word too, which says, "Happy are the people whose God is the Lord" Psalm 144:15.

Los Angeles Times: One of the most disappointing attributes of the Obama administration has been its proclivity for secrecy. The president, who committed himself to "an unprecedented level of openness in government" has followed the example of his predecessor by invoking the "states secrets" privilege to derail litigation about government misdeeds in the war on terror. He has refused to release the administration's secret interpretation of the Patriot Act, which two senators have described as alarming. He has blocked the dissemination of photographs documenting the abuse of prisoners by US service members. And now his Justice Department has proposed to allow government agencies to lie about the existence of documents being sought under the Freedom of Information Act, or FOIA. At present, if the government doesn't want to admit the existence of a document it believes to be exempt from FOIA, it may advise the person making the request that it can neither confirm nor deny the document's existence. Under the proposed regulation, an agency that withholds a document "will respond to the request as if the excluded records did not exist.
Commentary: Here is another example of presidential candidates lying to the citizens of the US to get elected, then turning right around and doing just the opposite once they are in office. "God hates these six things; seven are an abomination to Him: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who tells lies, and he who sows discord among the brethren" Psalms 6:16-19.
