Commentary: Four major (>5.9) earthquakes have hit within just the last seven days. Jesus said that preceding His return, these things would happen: "Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places" Matthew 24:7. The slaughter of Distomo was such an outrage that in 2003, even a German Federal Court judge described it as one of the most despicable crimes of World War II, but he refused to grant the families of the victims any compensation for their suffering, and not a single German soldier was ever punished for what he and his comrades had done.
Commentary: These horrific events took place only 67 years ago and many of the people affected by these acts, or possibly even survived them, are still among us. While people are frequently being dismembered and decapitated (slowly - they do not use a sharp, heavy sword or guillotine, they cut the head off S-L-O-W-L-Y) under Sharia Law throughout the modernized Muslim nations (Iran, Afghanistan, Egypt, Lebanon...), Indonesia and Africa, what makes Americans think this radical religion cannot come to the United States? We need to realize that the children and children's children of these vicious "demons" are still living. What type of children do you think come from people like that? Some may survive characters like this, by the grace of God, but in most cases, there has to be some character damage, if not psychosis among the children of people who do such things. You could ask yourself what you would think of your father, or your grandfather, if they committed these acts; what would you think of yourself, your heritage? We only have to search the internet to see what is happening all around us (unfortunately, you will not get real news in the mainstream media today. You have to search the web and you have to acquaint yourself with sites that carry real news). The point is, that if you believe all of these things can't happen again, and could never happen in the United States, think again. People are not becoming more peaceful as time goes on, but they are becoming more wicked and evil, raving mad evil, even in the name of a god no less! It is no secret that there were hundreds of thousands of Soviet Muslims among Hitler's legions, under the banner of the crescent and swastika. These Muslims and Hitler had something in common, they had a demonic hatred for Jews, God's chosen. If the world stays on its current path of destruction and mayhem, and if leaders with socialist-Marxist ideologies continue to say in power in the United States, the Constitutional rights of the people will continue to erode, until there is nothing left. It's time to wake up America; wake up. King David, who was also a prophet, said, "Deliver me, oh my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of unrighteous and cruel men" Psalm 71:4. "...I saw the souls of those that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, for the Word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, neither had received his mark on their foreheads or in their hands..." Revelation 20:4. According to the Bible, the beheadings will be a regular occurrence in these last days.

That is Barack Obama and his cousin Raila Odinga. Odinga and Obama are from the same Kenyan Luo tribe. Odinga supporters are the people that are burning Christians alive, trapped inside churches! Most of Odinga's fanatical followers are radical Islamists who have pushed for Islamic Sharia Law, total banning of other religions and closing of co-ed schools, night clubs and public dressing style considered immoral. Odinga was educated in former Soviet-controlled East Germany and maintains a strong loyalty to the vision of his "Educators" and has allied with Islamists in order to gain their political support. In 2006, Obama took a trip to Kenya and voiced his support for his fellow tribesman and political ally, Odinga. Obama also directly attacked the sitting Kenyan leadership (Kibaki) calling them "corrupt" (Kenya is one of the most stable places in Africa). Odinga is the man who ran on the socialist democrat ticket in Kenya and lost to sitting president Kibaki.
Commentary: During an interview with a New York Times journalist, Dinitia Smith, on 9/11/01 (yes, 9/11) William Ayres said, "I don't regret setting bombs; I feel we didn't do enough." Now he has written a book and he wrote that he participated in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, the Capitol Building in 1971, and the Pentagon in 1972. The reason he can write a book about his crimes now and still avoid prosecution, is because the statute of limitations has run out on his crimes! There shouldn't be a statute on such crimes as these. Since people are executed for espionage, it seems outrageous that people can get away with bombing government buildings and get away with it! With regard to Obama's response when questioned about his relationship with Ayres, it seems typical of someone who doesn't have a conscience about the "detestable acts" of their friends; possibly because he has plenty of his own detestable acts to dull his senses about Ayres activities. If that even carries the semblance of a good answer, the problem with that is Ayres and his former American terrorist wife, Bernadine Dohrn, don't stop boasting about their days bombing US federal and government buildings.

MiamiHerald.com (excerpts): Pensacola, FL - State scientists will head to the Florida Panhandle this week to check on East Bay oyster beds where oystermen are reporting a die-off. Oyster season opened October 1. Oystermen have reported pulling up dead oysters from beds that had been filled with large, healthy oysters at the end of the last harvest season on June 30. "We're finding very few alive," Pasco Gibson, a main supplier of the East Bay oysters, told the Pensacola News Journal. "This time of the year, we should be catching 500 to 1,000 pounds per boat a day. We're not even catching a hundred pounds." Gibson's six oyster boats are mostly idle and some of his freelance oystermen are heading to Apalachicola to look for work. He said the meager harvests have cost him 40% of his income. Depending on what's killing the oysters, once they start growing back, it could take up to three years to grow them large enough to harvest, he said. "Something happened in August and it had to be massive because some of these beds are 10 miles apart," Gibson said of the beds scattered near the shorelines of East Bay.
Commentary: As scientists do all around the world today, the scientists in Florida provided many different reasons for the oyster die-offs, but the massive die-off here is not normal. The article goes on to include numerous reasons why the oysters could have died, but it's interesting that not a single one of them mentioned (on record) that all of the die-offs around the world is very unusual and baffling. No, instead, every article you come to reads like, "Well, it could be...and it could be...and we saw something like this before...die-offs are not uncommon." Right, die-offs here and there, in isolated cases are not uncommon; but what these scientists dare not say that this is alarming and it's happening in mass all over the world! People would rather hear the truth, regardless of the circumstances, than be patronized or lied to. Here is truth: The Bible says, concerning the last days, "The land will mourn and everyone that dwells in it will languish, with the beasts of the field and the fowls of heaven, yes, the fishes of the sea will also be taken away" Hosea 4:3. He who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap life everlasting" Galatians 6:7-8 WHO: 68 years is the average life expectancy at birth of the global population in 2009.
The global life expectancy data for 2010 is currently not available. It could have gone up, but with fatalities increasing throughout the world because of pestilence, hunger, wars and catastrophes, it may be less. Are you living in such a way that you are ready to stand before God by the time you reach 68? Or maybe you have passed that age and you are actually living on "borrowed time." The Bible says, "Seeing then that all these things will be dissolved, what manner of person should you be in all holy conversation and godliness?" 2 Peter 3:11.
On the other hand, 68 might seem light years away from you, if you are young, but have you considered the fact that even if you live to be 120, that much time is only a brief moment compared to eternity - think about that - eternity... If you doubt that your eternal soul exists, there is proof, if you believe credible witnesses. We should only have to rely on God's Holy Word to confirm that fact, but there are a lot of "doubting Thomases" in the world, so God has allowed some people to come back and tell of heaven - or hell. IsraelToday.co.il by Ryan Jones: An Israeli man was killed and dozens more were wounded on Saturday night when Palestinian terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip unleashed a torrent of mortar and rocket fire on southern Israel. More than 40 rockets and mortars were fired from Gaza between Saturday evening and midmorning Sunday. The attacks included a number of medium range Grad missiles. The attack that killed 59-year-old Moshe Ami occurred in the coastal town of Ashkelon. Moshe was driving home to his family when the air raid sirens sounded. His partner Ela Costin called Moshe to make sure he was alright, but Moshe responded that he had been wounded. Moshe Ami was originally listed as moderately injured, but his condition rapidly deteriorated as he was transferred to a local hospital. Two hours later, he died on the operating table. Moshe Ami is survived by four children. In addition to the numerous casualties, most of the residents of southern Israel were forced to spend the night in bomb shelters. Schools in the region canceled studies for Sunday, so as not to further endanger the lives of local children. One of the buildings damaged in the overnight bombardment was a schoolhouse in the port city of Ashdod.
Israeli forces responded to the rocket fire by targeting terrorist cells and rocket fire locations in the Gaza Strip. At least 10 Islamic Jihad terrorists were reportedly killed in the strikes. Earlier on Saturday, the Israeli Army had attacked an Islamic Jihad training facility in Gaza, killing five terrorists, including the groups top local commander, Ahmed Sheikh Khalil. Egyptian officials reported that efforts to mediate a cease fire had failed due to Islamic Jihad's refusal to cooperate. Israel insisted that ultimately the ruling Hamas organization is responsible for the violence emanating from Gaza.
Commentary: In trying to locate a photo of the victim, a father of 4, we Googled "father of 4 killed in Israel" and, believe it or not, mostly photos of injured or dead Palestinians populated the screen. We typed in other specific dates and killings in Israel, and still the Muslim terrorists seem to have inserted all of the retaliation strikes against Gaza instead, or Google is directing us to those photos instead, for some reason. There even appears to be an internet conspiracy against Israel. So, we put up a photo of this Israeli child who was hacked to death with the rest of her family earlier this year by Muslim terrorists. If they want to direct us away from photos revealing their most recent attacks on Israel, we will have to use photos that we already have, some of the most inflammatory, hideous attacks waged against Israel by the Muslim terrorists. Any other nation, besides Israel, would blow Gaza off the globe for the constant barrage of attacks against Israeli citizens. These Muslim terrorists barrage Israel day in and day out with rocket attacks from Gaza; Israel initiates an air strike to defend himself, and much of the world is against Israel! Propaganda lies formulated by Palestinians are largely to blame, and people believe them. All of the (Muslim dominated) nations surrounding Israel hate Israel; their masses chant, "death to Israel (and death to America)," but the Bible says this would happen, "It will come to pass in that day that I (God) will seek to destroy all nations that come against Jerusalem" Zechariah 12:9. "I will gather all nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat and I (God) will execute judgment on them there for My people and My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land" Joel 3:2. God gave the land of Israel to the Jews (Genesis 15:18-19), but the Palestinians have scattered the Jews and divided the land, taking parts of the West Bank, Gaza and Jericho. God is angry because His people have been scattered and because His land has been divided. All of this injustice is taking place now, but Jesus will soon return to destroy all of the nations who have aligned themselves against Israel. *We had better hope and pray that we can vote in a new administration in 2012, which does not hate Israel, or America is in deep trouble with God too!

WashingtonPost.com: London - Lawyer's for St Paul's Cathdral, the Christopher Wren masterpiece that dominates the London skyline, and local government authorities are expected to start court proceedings in the coming week to evict protesters inspired by Occupy Wall Street. Activists around the world demonstrating against corporate greed and growing inequality are clashing with authorities, who appear to be losing patience. After weeks of lukewarm tolerance for around the clock sit-ins, authorities in several cities are urging protesters to move on. Others are forcing them to do so. This past week, police swooped in on protesters in Albuquerque, San Diego, Nashville, Atlanta and Oakland, where an Iraq war veteran suffered a serious head injury. There are signs of similar stirrings in other countries, including Canada and Australia; but the protesters in London are facing an unusual foe, a cathedral. "Legal action has regrettably become necessary. The chapter only takes this step with the greatest reluctance and remains committed to a peaceful solution," St Paul's Cathedral said in a statement Friday. In a sign of the deep divisions in the church over how to handle the protest, a popular senior priest at the cathedral, Giles Fraser, resigned this past week, saying he was concerned that evictions could lead to "violence in the name of the church." The decision to close St Paul's, which reportedly lost $150,000 in donations, was stunning, activists say. The last time the church was closed was during the Blitz in World War II - and even then, only for four days. The showdown could be lengthy, with authorities saying legal proceedings could take months. Meanwhile the multicolored tent city showed signs of settling in. The group has a library, tea tent, prayer tent, clothes market, a newspaper called "Occupied Times of London" and a "tent city university," with sofa cushions on the ground and hourly discussions. A kitchen worker said he feeds 500 people a day.
Commentary: Unfortunately, the ones to be on the "losing end" at the end of the day, will be the protesters. They are protesting inequality and greed, but there are much better ways to bring down the "fat cats" of London, America, or anywhere else the elite dominate. It is a popular opinion that someone is instigating and bankrolling many of these protesters throughout the world for their own selfish gain and agenda. It seems very plausible and these protesters may very well be backing the objectives of the very people they are trying to bring down. Honestly, does everyone really believe that riots developed in the Middle East, then throughout the rest of the major cities of the world by coincidence? We are headed for a worldwide economic collapse of Biblical proportions - because it is Biblical! More than 4 million people in at least five states were without power Sunday, as the storm moved off shore. Up to five deaths, some in traffic accidents, were blamed on the storm. The storm prompted the closure of Newark International Airport. Also in New Jersey, Teterboro Airport closed Saturday afternoon, but reopened hours later, the Federal Aviation Administration said. The FAA also reported major delays of up to five hours or more at New York's John F. Kennedy and LaGuardia Airports on Saturday. Other forms of travel were also impacted. An Amtrak train with 48 passengers on board was stuck for nearly 13 hours when a rock slide resulting from the snow storm blocked the tracks near Palmer, Massachusetts, said Amtrak spokeswoman Vernae Graham. "It's like a blizzard, you can't see far at all," Alban Ajro of Watertown, Connecticut said Saturday night. In Philadelphia, Interstate 95 was closed Sunday morning after black ice caused some 30 cars to crash, authorities told CNN afiliate KYW. Two people were killed, the station said. At least three deaths on Saturday were linked to the unusual October snowstorm. An 84-year-old man was napping on his recliner in Temple, Pennsylvania on Saturday, when part of a large snow-filled tree fell into his house and killed him, according to a state police report. With numerous downed trees in the area, rescue crews took two hours to safely remove the victim, police said. A motorist died in Hebron, Connecticut, state emergency spokesman Scott Devico said. A third person was killed in Springfield, Massachusetts, when a man in his 20s ignored a police barricade surrounding downed power lines and touched a metal guard rail, which was charged, said city fire department spokesman Dennis Legere. Snow buried parts of New Jersey and New York on Saturday, including 15.5 inches in West Milford, New Jersey, and 12 inches in Harriman, New York. Cities in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland saw more than nine inches of snow in less than one day. The Governors of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts issued emergency declarations for their states. Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy said Sunday that some 40 shelters are open, in addition to places where people can go to warm up, take a shower, or charge their phones. "We are expecting record lows tonight, which means we are going to have some freezing conditions in the morning," he said. Sunday evening, the state's largest utility, Connecticut Light and Power, reported nearly 788,000 customers were still without electricity. A total of about 807,500 households were in the dark in Connecticut. Elsewhere, about 1.9 million customers were without power Sunday in Pennsylvania, 639,000 in Massachusetts, 584,000 in New Jersey and 299,000 in New York, according to figures from power companies in those states. Thousands also lost power in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Commentary: Being without power during this "record low" has to be devastating to the people in these states. Record breaking storms during the tornado season and now this! With flooding throughout so many other parts of the world and the raging, record breaking fires earlier this year; have you ever heard of anything like this? It is phenomenal; it is actually the hand of God, according to the scriptures: "Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, He will cast down to the earth with His hand" Isaiah 28:2. "You will be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire" Isaiah 29:6. God pronounced these things would happen because the people refused to repent and turn to Him. This is not a popular message, but it is the truth. The people of this world need to repent of rampant wickedness and serve God, while there is time, because throughout His Word, He demands it, or their are consequences. GLOBES (excerpts): The first stage of a mysterious disease affecting Kinneret fish begins in one of its eyes, which starts to pop out and gets destroyed, leaving an empty hole in the socket. Then the second eye is affected. In the third phase, the blind fish blacken and starve. So far, there is no official answer whether the disease is an unknown virus, or a mutation of a virus, a bacteria or a parasite. Initial signs of the problem were discovered ten years ago in small numbers. The phenomenon was first noticed by Menachem Lev, a fisherman from Kibbutz Ein Gev, a local expert on everything that happens in the Kinneret. The plague first affected St. Peter's Fish. About a million Christian pilgrims visit Israel every year. Most of them visit the Kinneret and eat St. Peter's Fish; the Ein Gev restaurant alone serves more than 300,000 fish dinners to pilgrims every year. The problem has worsened since then, and it is not only St. Peter's Fish that are affected by the disease, but also the Jordan River tilapia raised in fish ponds in the Hula Valley, silver carp, carp and mullet. 12-15% of the fish in the lake have already contacted the disease. Ministry of Agriculture Veterinary Services fish health director Dr. Avi Eldar is trying to discover whether a new mutated virus is the cause of the disease. The Veterinary Services has not found an unambiguous answer, and Dr. Eldar has contacted a lab in Italy, which has not yet given its answer.
Commentary: Regardless of what is found to be the underlying cause (and there are many different reasons given as to why fish are dying in mass all around the world), the Bible says this will happen in the last days, before the return of Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew), "The land will mourn and everyone that dwells in it will languish, with the beasts of the field, the fowls of heaven; yes, the fishes of the sea will also be taken away" Hosea 4:3. The good news is that the Bible tells us that God's people will be caught up to heaven before His wrath is poured out on the wicked, "Wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come" 1 Thessalonians 1:10. "The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ will rise first, then we which are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and we will forever be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words" 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18. At this point in time, we are experiencing a time of sorrow (languishing), before the "great wrath of God" (Revelation 6:17) is poured out upon the earth, during the tribulation period.
