The Blaze (excerpts): Glenn arrived in Israel this weekend in preparation of the much anticipated Restoring Courage rally and he will be broadcasting from Jerusalem all week. During his radio program Monday, Glenn spoke of the various events that will be part of Restoring Courage, including a Christian-centered gathering Sunday, followed by a "Courage to Remember" event focused on the past and future, leading up to the larger Restoring Courage rally Wednesday at the southern steps of Solomon's Temple Mount. Glenn asked his listeners if they will "stand up" and have the courage and stamina to look for the truth. Part of that truth-telling, for Glenn, was making the Fogel family household one of his first stops in Israel. Five members of the Fogel family, including a three-year-old child were savagely stabbed to death by an 18-year-old Palestinian named Hakim Awad. Glenn spoke poignantly about the experience: "I went to Itamar in Judea and Samaria and I...our cameras were the first to be allowed into the home. It is empty now and they are...they couldn't get all of the blood off the walls. I will tell you, this was one of the most horrific, bloodiest massacres I could imagine. It was horrifying, horrifying. And yet in that community, profound hope." "If you stand in their backyard, you can see the two mountains: the Mountain of Blessing and the Mountain of Curse. It is the...it is scriptural. Which do you choose, the mountain of blessing or curse? This community has both. I can't believe what people go through here in Israel, and the world stays silent. The media is distorting and lying, lying to you. Lying to you; and it is important that you know it. We will bring you many, many things in the next 14 days that you will not see anywhere else. When you see what we are doing on GBTV, you will...you will know exactly why I left cable news. Because no one, no one who runs a business that cares about political correctness or sponsors or anything else would do it. Nobody would do it. My relationship is with you. We'll tell you the truth. You don't like it, cancel your subscription. You do like it, tell a friend. Tell a friend. The "truth shall set you free."
Commentary: I pray for Glenn Beck every day. I don't agree with everything he believes in (doctrinally); he is a Morman and I am a Christian. Nevertheless, God is using this man in a great way on global platform to lift up His people Israel and to glorify His name among the nations. We don't have to see eye to eye on everything, on every doctrinal issue to be brothers and sisters in Christ. In fact, Paul said, "I am determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ and Him crucified," 1 Corinthians 2:2. He also said, "We see through a glass darkly (meaning we only know part of the mysteries of God - no one knows everything)" 1 Corinthians 13:12. I admire the stand that Glenn Beck is taking for truth, for God and for God's people Israel in this world today. I don't have to agree with everything he believes in spiritually. The man obviously loves the Lord and he makes a public stand for God and God's people; I love the man and I love and admire what he is doing; I back him all the way. God said, "I will bless those who bless you (Israel) and curse those who curse you" Genesis 12:3. If you are not for Israel, you are not for God Himself, and according to God's Word, you are also cursed - God have mercy on you.

Huffington Post (excerpts): Texas Governor Rick Perry has only been a GOP presidential contender for a few days, but he is already sparking controversy. On Monday, he delivered some tough words to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke - words that some of his critics find less than appropriate. The Huffington Post has the quote from Perry, who was speaking in Iowa: "If Bernanke prints more money between now and the election, I don't know what y'all would do to him in Iowa, but we would treat him pretty ugly down in Texas." Then he went on to say that the act of printing more money would be "almost treasonous." "We've already tried this. It will only devalue the dollar in your pocket and we cannot afford that. We have to learn the lessons of the past three years, that they've been devastating. The President of the United States has conducted an experiment on the American economy for almost the last three years, and it has gone tragically wrong and we need to send him a clear message in November of 2012, that new leadership is coming." His statements on the Fed didn't end there. In a follow-up interview, Perry was asked if he believes the Federal Reserve has been playing politics to assist the president. His reply: "If they print more money between now and this election, I would suggest that's exactly what's going on."
Despite the response, it's likely that this situation will rapidly blow over.
Commentary: "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people" Proverbs 14:34. The man speaks of the reproach of our nation and he isn't "politically correct" - I love it! Wow! A presidential candidate that isn't politically correct! Political correctness doesn't call a Muslim terrorist a Muslim terrorist; political correctness calls them our "Muslim friends - everywhere," while at the same time they sit in countries throughout the Middle East chanting in their public squares "death to Israel and death to America, death to Israel and death to America...!" Haven't you heard this on television? Oh, I almost forgot, you don't really get to hear real news on the mainstrem news media. You actually have to look at nonmainstream media sources to see real news videos. Just go to YouTube and type in "Muslims chant death to Israel and death to America" to get some real news videos. This man apparently calls treason just what it is, treason! Hallelujah! He has my vote!
Actually, I feel sorry for you, since most of you don't get to see real news in America, and I placed some videos on the News Videos page of this website (dated 8/16/11), which show Muslims and Muslim leaders chanting "death to Israel and death to America," and some only chanting "death to America!"

Associated Press (excerpts): New Orleans, LA - The mother of a wheelchair bound seven-year-old, who was beheaded and dismembered, wrote when her son was less than six months old that his father - now accused in his killing - wanted him dead because the baby was suffering, court papers show. Jori Lirette was killed after his mother told her longtime boyfriend, 30-year-old Jeremiah Wright, that she was kicking him out of their Thibodaux home, according to a sworn police statement made part of the court record Tuesday. Wright, who police say confessed to the killing, was booked with first-degree murder and is being held on 5 million bond in the boy's death. That statement, used as basis to get an arrest warrant Sunday, also quoted Wright as telling investigators he was tired of caring for Jori. The boy's body, lower legs and one forearm, which were cut off, were found in a trash can with his torso. A preliminary autopsy indicated he also had been bludgeoned, Police Chief Scott Silverii said. The statement by Thibodaux Police Lt. Kim Favalora said Jori's head was left by the side of the road, so that his mother, 27-year-old Jesslyn Lirette would see it when she came home and "feel stupid." By the time she arrived, police were already there and had removed the head. Wright's attorney, Kerry Cuccia, director of the Capital Defense Project of Southeast Louisiana, said early reports on his client's statements had given the impression that "Mr. Wright was being flippant or insincere about what he said, or callous. When you read the entire statement, it comes across entirely different to me." He said he couldn't go into further detail. Wright had wanted his son dead since he was six months old, Lirette wrote in a sworn statement in September 2004. She said Wright had called her saying "he was tired of seeing the baby suffer and wanted him dead, that I needed to do something about his suffering and end it all." He hung up, but called back and said "he loved me, but still felt the same about the baby," she wrote. A Lafourche Parish judge issued a restraining order the next day, on September 30. Jori was born three months prematurely and spent much of his first year hospitalized in New Orleans, Lirette has told the Daily Comet of Thibodaux. By age 7, he needed a feeding tube, had heart problems and cerebral palsy that kept him in a wheelchair, and had limited speech. A week before she gave birth, Lirette also said she felt unsafe around Wright. She got a restraining order against him on April 2, 2004, six days before her son was born. She wrote that on March 25, 2004, Wright called her names, broke "the baby's piggy bank" and - when she told him to clean up the broken glass - shoved her onto a pile of CDs on the bed, hurting her back. "I do fear for the life of me and my unborn child" she wrote, but she apparently let the orders lapse. In October 2004, a judge ordered Wright to pay $187 a month child support for Jori. That lawsuit was brought on the infant's behalf by the state Department of Social Services.
Police took Wright into custody after he said Jori's head was "that of a CPR dummy," according to Favalora's statement. Favalora wrote that "Wright was very matter-of-fact, as he calmly explained that he thought for years that Jori was his son. Wright said that he recently saw that the 'dummy' looked at him and there were signs and little things the 'dummy' did to him that led him to know that Jori was not his son, but a 'dummy.'" Favalora said Wright told police that he "was tired of taking care of the 'dummy.' Wright said that as soon as he realized Jori was a 'dummy,' and not his son, he started contemplating on killing him," according to the statement. The document also quoted Wright as saying that he and Lirette had argued the night before and he expected eviction. Lirette had left at about 8 am to get her truck, "and she was planning to pick up the truck and use it to take Wright to his mother's house," Favalora wrote. Wright then said that he "went to work," referring to killing Jori, "right after Jesslyn left," the statement said. "Wright added that because of Jori's medical condition...he could not cry much," the statement said. It continues with graphic details about the decapitation and dismemberment. Police say they found a bloody saw in a toolbox under the kitchen sink and found the boy's torso and limbs inside a clear garbage bag in the trash can outside of the home.
Commentary: The Bible tells us that "The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who know the truth, but they are still unrighteous; because when they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God and they were not thankful, but became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened. Therefore, God gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies among themselves; and because they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not easily done, being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, WITHOUT NATURAL AFFECTION, implacable, UNMERCIFUL; who knowing the judgment of God, they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do these things, but they have pleasure in doing them. Romans 1:18, 21, 24, 28-32. I think these scriptures describe this heinous devil perfectly, but more could be said. The mother had plenty of information to go on, but apparently she wanted to be around this guy more than she needed to protect her precious disabled child. This is sickening, and it keeps happening time and time again.
Throughout my lifetime, I can remember many times when convicted murderers were being interviewed, and they would sometimes say they were sorry and just couldn't figure out why they did what they did. Are you aware of the fact that if you are not a servant of God, you serve Satan? There is no middle ground. The Bible says, "Don't you know that you are a servant to the one you yield yourself to, and his servant you are, whether of sin leading to death, or obedience leading to righteousness?" Romans 6:16. Also, "No man can serve two masters; either he will hate one and love the other, or he will hold to one and despise the other..." Matthew 6:24. Please notice here, Jesus did not refer to more than two masters, just two. By default, if you do not serve God, you are a servant of Satan and susceptible to demon possession at some point in your life. There may have been a time when this man was thinking rationally, but not anymore! The scriptures tell us "A little yeast makes the whole lump of dough rise" Galatians 5:9. There is no such thing as just a little sinner who will still go to heaven. If your heart isn't for God, you might eventually end up someone later on down the road that you would abhor today. Jesus said (speaking of the latter days) "Wickedness will abound and the love of many people will grow cold" Matthew 24:12. Fifty years ago something like this was practically unheard of. Today, these things happen throughout the world. Just last year, a stepmother, Elisa Baker, killed her 10-year-old disabled stepdaughter, a deaf child, a cancer survivor, with a peg leg postamputation. This little girl suffered so much physically, then she was horribly abused by her stepmother, only to later be killed and her body dismembered and buried along the roadside in North Carolina. I have come across horrific murder cases, no longer involving mature adults, but pathetic, sometimes disabled, children and even babies! Most of the gruesome cases I have come across recently involved parents killing their innocent children. The Bible tells us that "In the last days, perilous times will come" (2 Timothy 3:1) and those times are here!

International Business Times: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a federal agency that focuses on the conditions of the oceans and atmosphere said a severe solar storm could cause global disruptions in GPS systems, power grids, satellite communications and airline communications. With solar activity expected to peak around 2013, the sun is entering a particularly active time and big flares like the recent one will likely be common during the next few years. Most solar flares will only cause minor problems with satellite and power grids, but a major flare in the mid-19th century blocked the nascent telegraph system, and some scientists believe that another such event is now overdue. In a huge solar storm back in 1859, telegraph offices worldwide were hit. Some telegraph operators reported electric shocks, the telegraph system malfunctioned, and even paper caught fire. It is the strongest solar storm on record and is called the "Carrington Event," which is named after Richard Carrington, who viewed and reported on the solar flare of September 1, 1859. In 1989, 6 million people in Quebec, Canada were left without power for several hours when a solar storm took down a power grid. According to a report by the National Research Council in 2008, a solar storm similar to the ones in the past could cause up to 2 trillion dollars in damage across the globe today. The NOAA predicted for "extreme" solar emissions which could threaten the planet this decade. Similarly, NASA warned that a peak in the sun's magnetic energy cycle and the number of sun spots or flares around 2013 could enable extremely high radiation levels. This is a special problem in the United States and especially a severe threat in the eastern United States, as Federal Government studies revealed that this extreme solar activity and emissions may result in complete blackouts for years in several areas of the nation. Moreover, there may also be disruption of power supply for years, or even decades, as geomagnetic currents attracted by the storm could debilitate the transformers. Last month, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission said US plants affected by a blackout should be able to cope without electricity for at least eight hours and should have procedures to keep the reactor and spent fuel pool cool for 72 hours. Nuclear plants depend on standby batteries and backup diesel generators. Most standby power systems would continue to function after a severe solar storm, but supplying the standby systems with adequate fuel, when the main power grids are offline for years, could become a very critical problem. If the spent fuel rod pools at the countries 104 nuclear power plants lose their connection to the power grid, the current regulations are not sufficient to guarantee those pools won't boil over, exposing the hot, zirconium-clad rods and sparking fires that would release deadly radiation. A report by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory said that over the standard 40-year license term of nuclear power plants, solar flare activity enables a 33 percent chance of long-term power loss, a risk that significantly outweighs that of major earthquakes and tsunamis. A solar flare is caused when an intense burst of radiation comes from the release of magnetic energy associated with sun spots. Flares are the solar system's largest explosive events. A CME happens when the outer solar magnetic fields are closed, often above sunspot groups, and the confined solar atmosphere can suddenly and violently release bubbles of gas and magnetic fields.Commentary: Are you prepared, just in case? The Bible tells us, "Go, you sluggard, and consider the ways of the ant" Proverbs 6:6. What does the ant do? If you have ever watched them, you will notice they scout the earth far and wide and gather food during the summer and fall and they carry it way underground to sustain them throughout the winter. There are numerous scriptures throughout the Bible that tell us to prepare ourselves for rough days ahead. Do you have a backup plan in the event of a total loss of power for weeks, months, or even years? In the "care free" society many of us live in today, that would be the farthest thing from most peoples' minds. If you are diligent and you want to be prepared for the worst case scenario, I encourage you to visit the Warnings page of this website. That page contains preparedness information. Are you aware of the fact that if we suffer a severe EMP by terrorist attack or solar flare, your car won't start? You should have a bicycle on hand and some cash stashed in the event computers crash (you won't be able to get your money out of the bank) and at least you can travel for a number of miles on a bicycle for supplies. The Bible says that in the last days, during the tribulation, "The fourth angel poured out his vial on the sun and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. Men were scorched with great heat and blasphemed the name of God, who has power over these plagues and they did not repent or give God glory" Revelation 16:8-9. This prediction from NOAA is just a prelude to what will come on all the earth. Jesus said to his disciples, "Then there will be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, nor will there ever be" Matthew 24:21. You can contemplate the worst possible disaster, but it will pale in comparison to what is coming, according to the scriptures. Are you prepared for the return of the Lord to gather his people? You may scoff, but you should ask yourself a very sobering question. Do you know anyone who has ever lived forever? No? Well then, you are going to die and face God, or live to see Him face to face, because His return to this earth is getting very close. Just understand this one thing, you will give an account to God for your choice to accept or reject the Son of God, who paid the price and died for your sins, in your place. Anyone who has not received Christ in this life, will face eternal hell for eternity; this is the Word of God. God is the epitome of love, but He is also the epitome of wrath on those who "trample under foot the blood of His Son" Hebrews 10:29. The good news is that we, who are saved, will escape the wrath of God, because He is going to catch up His people before that time, "We which are alive and remain (after the dead are raised v. 16) will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and we will forever be with the Lord" 1 Thessalonians 4:17. Restoring Courage will be held in Jerusalem on 8/24/11.
IsraelToday.co.il.com: Popular and controversial American commentator Glenn Beck arrived in Israel on Sunday ahead of his "Restoring Courage" mega-rally in Jerusalem next week. The rally will take place simultaneously in Jerusalem's Old City and at the main square outside the Jerusalem Municipality next Wednesday, August 24. Attending will be numerous American politicians and celebrities, including Senator Joe Lieberman, rock musician Ted Nugent and actors John Voight and Chuck Norris. Beck was inspired to hold the rally during a surprise visit to the region earlier this year to help Israel celebrate its 63rd Independence Day. Beck suggested that he was discouraged to see Israel behaving as though it had no choice but to give in to dangerous international dictates. The rally is intended to encourage Israelis to stand for their right to exist safely and securely in this land, a right Beck attributes to the Biblical mandate given to Israel. During a subsequent visit last month, Beck was reportedly astounded to see how much God and faith in the Bible played a role in Israeli politics.
Commentary: God has raised up a man who has world-wide acclaim to stand with Israel when massive numbers of prominent leaders in the world today have betrayed and turned their backs on Israel, even some "so called Christians," who are not Christians at all. This man will be rewarded by God for making a stand for Israel and encouraging the rest of the world to do the same. GBTV on the internet will televise the Restoring Courage event live on August 24, 2011, as I am certain other stations should want to do. With the way the world is going, I'm not sure... I encourage you to watch and open your heart towards Israel, if you haven't already. The Bible says, "I (God) will bless those who bless you (Israel), and curse him who curses you; and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed" Genesis 12:3. Is God a liar? Do you think He will not stand by His Holy Word? He absolutely will! In fact, all of those who stand by Israel and support and bless Israel are blessed, and will continue to be blessed. I challenge you to watch what happens to those who openly oppose Israel. They might appear to be blessed for a "moment" in time, but judgment will fall, and oh how great that judgment will be!

wwltv.com (excerpts): Bogalusa, LA - Dead fish lined the river at Pear River near Bogalusa Saturday. Tiny catfish gasped for breath at the surface. Other vital wildlife, including muscles, turtles and eels had washed ashore. It's something L.K. Jones has never seen here before. "The water's black, black as paint, dead fish floating everywhere; it's unreal," said Jones, who lives nearby. Neighbors noticed a film over the river several days ago. Saturday morning, the dark, foamy water proved deadly. "I run three nets this morning, tuck 'em up; they had at least 200-250 pounds of dead fish per net, no live ones at all," said Freddy Lawrence, a longtime Washington Parish Fisherman. Now multiple agencies from Mississippi and Louisiana are investigating. The source of the dark liquid appears to be a pipeline a few miles up the river. The water color and quality, officials say, changes drastically downriver from the pipeline, and one can see the dark liquid bubbling up beneath the surface. Officials say that the pipeline belongs to Temple-Inland, an Austin-based company with a paper plant in Bogalusa. Officials say the company's allowed to discharge a certain amount of the liquid into the river, but they've never seen the water so black. "I would suggest people stay off the water until we can find out what happened," said Sgt. Darryl Galloway, enforcement division of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. At this point, authorities aren't prepared to say the plant caused the fish kill, but DEQ said Temple-Inland did have a problem Tuesday with the operations waste water plant, causing them to exceed the daily maximum for biochemical oxygen demand, which measures the amount of oxygen organisms use to break down waste. Now DEQ says water oxygen levels below the pipeline are too low for fish to survive. "You can look at the water, look at the foam when a boat goes by; that's not normal," said Lawrence. "It's something happening with the paper mill." DEQ officials said Temple-inland has been working to fix issues at their waste water treatment facility. According to DEQ, the plant is starting to stabilize, but is still having problems. Officials said the effects can already be seen 20 miles downriver, near Picayune, Mississippi, but so far, DEQ officials have collected only one fish to test. They say the others appeared to be sitting for days, dead too long to sample; and they hope in the future residents will report anything unusual as soon as they see it. Officials said they didn't learn of the fish kill until Saturday morning. "The thing I'm worried about is the long-term effects," said Lawrence. Officials said they're not sure how long it will take to figure out what caused this, or how to fix it.
Commentary: For whatever reasons fish are dying all around the world, causation appears to be irrelevant, because the Bible says the fish are going to "be taken away." It is relevant in the sense that if this mill is killing the fish, and I think a blind person can see that, they need to stop dumping waste in the river. It doesn't seem appropriate that any business should be dumping waste into natural rivers in the first place! The Word of God tells us that "The land will mourn and everyone that dwells in it will languish, with the beasts of the field, the fowls of heaven; yes, the fishes of the sea will also be taken away" Hosea 4:3. The prophet Hosea was speaking about the last days in chapter 4, that these will be signs of the end times. We are seeing them happen now right before our eyes. "I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath; blood, fire and vapor of smoke" Acts 2:19.

FoxNews.com (excerpts): A federal appeals court in Atlanta ruled Friday that a provision in President Obama's health care law requiring citizens to buy health insurance is unconstitutional, but the court didn't strike down the rest of the law. The decision is a major setback for the White House, which had appealed a ruling by a lower court judge who struck down the entire law in January; but in that another appeals court in Cincinnati has upheld the law, it is increasingly clear that the Supreme Court will have the final say. "We strongly disagree with the decision and we are confident it will not stand," White House spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter said in a statement. On Friday, the divided three-judge panel of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals sided with 26 states that filed a lawsuit to block Obama's signature domestic initiative. The panel said that Congress exceeded its constitutional authority by requiring Americans to buy insurance or face penalties. "This economic mandate presents a wholly novel and potentially unbounded assertion of congressional authority," the panel said in a majority opinion. The majority also said that a basic objective of the law is to "make health insurance coverage accessible and thereby reduce the number of uninsured persons." Without the individual mandate, the majority said the law "retains many other provisions that help to accomplish some of the same objectives as the individual mandate." The decision is a review of a sweeping ruling by a Florida judge, who not only struck down a requirement that nearly all Americans carry health insurance, but he also threw out other provisions ranging from Medicare discounts for some seniors to a change that allows adult children up to age 26 to remain on their parents' coverage. The states urged the 11th Circuit to uphold US District Judge Roger Vinson's ruling, saying in a court filing that letting the law stand would set a troubling precedent that would "imperil individual liberty, render Congress's other enumerated powers superfluous, and allow Congress to usurp the general police power reserved to the states." The Justice Department countered that Congress had the power to require that most people buy health insurance or face tax penalties because Congress has the authority to regulate interstate business. It said the legislative branch was exercising its "quintessential" rights when it adopted the new law. During oral arguments in June, the three-judge panel repeatedly asked questions about the overhaul and expressed unease with the insurance requirement. Each of the three worried aloud if upholding the landmark law could open the door to Congress adopting other sweeping economic mandates. The arguments unfolded in what's considered one of the nations most conservative appeals courts; but the randomly selected panel represents different judicial perspectives. None of the three is considered a stalwart conservative or an unfaltering liberal. The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the only private group to join the 26 states in the lawsuit, cheered the decision. "Small business owners across the country have been vindicated by the 11th Circuit's ruling that the individual mandate in the healthcare law is unconstitutional," said Karen Harned, executive director of the group's legal center. "The court reaffirmed what small businesses already knew - there are limits to Congress's power; and the individual mandate which compels every American to buy health insurance or pay a fine is a bridge to far," she said.

When our laws state that no one can force an individual to accept medical treatment, unless you are mentally compromised, how is it that legislators believe all people should be forced to buy health insurance? There are some people in the world who would rather lay down and die in peace as to go to a doctor, plain and simple fact. I know a lot of people disagree with that, because most of the population depends on doctors to make them well if they fall sick, but most doesn't equal everyone. The bottom line is, if we still live in a "free" country, people should have the right to make that choice. I anticipate we will see whether or not we still live in a free society sometime soon. We are living in the last generation before the Lord returns; this is a Biblical fact. "When you see Jerusalem compassed with armies, know that the desolation is near" Luke 21:20. Jesus spoke these words to the disciples, when they asked Him when He would return. The "Arab Spring" nations are preparing themselves for a battle to take Jerusalem now. When the Muslim Mahdi (messiah) returns, they believe he will rule from Jerusalem, so they are making plans to take it and destroy the very name of Israel (answering-Islam.org). Jesus also said, "This gospel of the kingdom will be preached to all nations, then the end will come" Matthew 24:14. Now with computers and satellite TV, this gospel is being preached in every nation. That point being made, finally, the Antichrist will introduce a "mark" which everyone will be required to take, or be beheaded, "He (Antichrist) cases all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads" Revelation 13:16. "...I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not worshipped the beast, or his image, neither received his mark in their foreheads or in their hands..." Revelation 20:4. With the health care bill, under the veil of "security," everyone will be required to have a microchip (RFID) implanted, which is said to contain medical records, but which will also have access to the individual's bank account for pertinent fees involved with healthcare. These are written right into the health care bill; I read them myself. There are over 2,000 pages in HR3200. FEMA.gov: So far this year, there have been 63 major disaster declarations by FEMA throughout the United States. Last year, there was a total of 81 for the entire year. The yearly reports on the FEMA website go back to 1953. The trends below should tell us all something:
From 2002 to 2011, the greatest number of disasters declared was 81 in 2010 Events of 2010: The Healthcare Reform Bill enacted. HR5741 (Universal National Service Act) was presented to the House of Representatives on July 15, 2010, which authorizes induction of all US citizens between 18-42 years of age to perform national services in uniform, or civil services. Don't Ask/Don't Tell was enacted in December 2010, allowing gays into the military. The District of Columbia and New Hampshire allow gay marriage in 2010. Four gay/lesbian bills were passed by legislature in 2010 (eqca.org).
From 1992 to 2001, the greatest number of disasters declared was 75 in 1996 Events of 1996: In Romer vs. Evans, The Supreme Court of the United States rules against a law that prevents any city, town, or county in the state of Colorado from taking any legislative, executive, or judicial action to protect the rights of homosexuals. A panel of US federal judges in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania blocks a law against indecency on the internet; the panel said that the 1996 Communications Decency Act would infringe upon the free speech rights of adults. Commentary: It should be obvious that the more sin that abounds in the United States, the angrier God becomes. Evil abounds and disasters are increasing. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to link the two together. Jesus said, "Iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold" Matthew 24:12. Jesus also said, "Every idle word that men speak, they will give an account for on the day of judgment" Matthew 12:36. He also said, "Watch and pray always, that you might be accounted worthy to escape all these things that will come, and to stand before the Son of man (Jesus)" Luke 21:36.

The point of posting the photo was to show that, although the State Department refuses to say that Jerusalem is in Israel, even the White House website acknowledges this elementary truth (at least for Western Jerusalem, west of the 1949 armistic lines); but not anymore. Within two hours of posting, the White House has apparently gone through its website, "cleansing" any reference to Jerusalem being in Israel:

The caption now reads "Vice President Joe Biden laughs with Israeli President Shimon Peres in Jerusalem, March 9, 2010." It seems odd that the vice president of the United States and the president of Israel are meeting in a 'third country,' but at least now the White House is squarely aligned with the State Department.
Commentary: This is antisemitism to the max! This is akin to Iran, our worst enemy (you know - the ones who constantly publicly chant "death to Israel and death to the United States") taking out any reference to the United States in connection with Washington, DC! President Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton are blatantly against Israel and for the Palestinian Authority (supporter of terrorists); the Muslim Brotherhood (a terrorist organization); and all of those haters of the United States and Israel who rhythmically chant "death to Israel and death to the United States;" those terrorizing, hating, murdering, decapitating, suicide-bombing people. Now this really perplexes me. Do you suppose that perhaps President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are afraid of being decapitated themselves, unless they support these maniacs and shun Israel? I can't think of any other reason, aside from the possibility that President Obama and Hillary Clinton are radical Muslims themselves! Kidding aside, I believe the reasons are for monetary gain and for their globalist agenda with the United Nations, which is dominated by Muslims (2/3rds of voting members are Muslims or Muslim-dominated [reference: Shira Sorko-Ram]). I think it will be interesting to watch what happens in the lives of these two, for the Word of God says, "I (God) will bless those who bless you (Israel) and I will curse those who curse you" Genesis 12:3.

AP: Austin, TX (excerpts): Texas Governor Rick Perry is running for president, a spokesman confirmed Thursday, a move certain to shake up the race for the GOP nomination much to the delight of conservatives looking for a candidate to embrace. Perry Spokesman Mark Miner said the governor would make his intentions known on Saturday while visiting South Carolina and New Hampshire just as most of his presidential rivals compete in a test vote in Iowa. Official word of Perry's entrance into the race came just hours before eight candidates, including GOP front-runner Mit Romney, were to appear on stage during a nationally televised debate. It wasn't much of a surprise. The longest-serving governor in Texas history has flirted with a presidential run since spring and has spent the past few months courting Republicans in early voting states and laying the groundwork for a campaign. He met privately with potential donors from California to New York and gave rousing speeches to party faithful, casting himself as a fiscally responsible social conservative. His intentions became even clearer over the past few days when officials disclosed that he would visit an important trio of states, a campaign-like schedule timed to overshadow the debate and the Iowa straw poll and, perhaps, wreak havoc on a field led by Romney. Unlike others in the race, Perry has credibility with the at-times warring camps of the GOP's primary electorate. The pro-business tax cutter who has presided over Texas's recent economic growth also is a devout social conservative with deep ties to some of the nation's evangelical leaders and Christians who dominate the pivotal Iowa caucuses. He may face fierce opposition from secular groups and progressives who argue that his religious beliefs violates the separation of church and state and that his belief that some groups, such as the Boy Scouts of America, should be allowed to discriminate against gays is "bigoted." Perry, who has been governor for 11 years has touted his business-friendly job-creation skills in Texas as evidence of fiscal wisdom, giving him a chance to drain support from Romney, whose conservative record is burdened by the health care plan he implemented as governor of Massachusetts. Social conservatives already support Perry in equal numbers to Bachmann, who has never held an executive office and who some republicans consider too far right to beat President Barack Obama. In polls conducted before he joined the race, Perry was in a statistical tie with Bachmann and within striking distance of Romney. A career politician with 27 years in elected office, Perry calls his economic track record in Texas a model for the country, arguing that low taxes, little regulation and tough law suit restrictions help create jobs and attract business. Texas has fared better than most states during the Great Recession, though it has the highest rate of uninsured residents and among the poorest populations in the country. Perry is a full-throated critic of both Democratic and Republican politics in Washington, advocating a weaker federal government with smaller entitlement programs and greater states' rights. He recently signed a pledge to cut spending, place a cap on future government expenses and balance the budget. Democrats will highlight what they say are Perry's "extreme right beliefs," such as opposing the national income tax and the direct election of US senators. States' rights is one of Perry's biggest issues and he has said individual legislatures should decide matters such as gay marriage and the legalization of marijuana. Those stances could draw conservative opposition - unlike his well-known love of guns. Perry told an Associated Press reporter last year that he carries a laser-sighted pistol while jogging and that he used it to shoot a coyote that threatened his daughter's dog that came along one day for a run. Texans touted what they call a heroic act, and gun manufacturer Sturm, Ruger & Co. Inc. issued a "Coyote Special" addition of its Ruger .380 caliber pistol complete with "A True Texan" emblazoned on the side. How such stories play on a national stage could determine whether Perry can secure the GOP nomination.
Commentary: "Texans touted what they call a heroic act" sounds a bit sarcastic by the writer. I suppose he might think it much better if the coyote had attacked and killed the pet, then the governor, or severely injured both! There is a place for weaponry in today's society among those who want to defend their homes and their families. Jesus said to the disciples before the Roman invasion, "...he who does not own a sword, let him sell his garment and buy one" Luke 22:36. Jesus never said it is a Christian's duty to be attacked and killed by thugs, or watch helplessly as their families are attacked and killed by thugs, or wild animals for that matter. Conservatives and Christians need to get away from the mentality that just because other people abuse something doesn't mean it is bad for everyone else and it doesn't have a place in society. I recently sent Rick Perry an email, before he announced his intention to run, applauding his openness, in publicly giving honor to God. Later, after I heard about his national day of prayer and fasting recently, as the economic crisis played out between Congress and the president, I was overwhelmed and hoped he would run for president. He is a conservative; Texas is, in fact, a model for the nation economically and has among the lowest unemployment rates per capita in the nation (en.wikipedia.org). Rick Perry loves the Lord and has no problem sharing his faith publicly. He is not only open about his faith in God, but his life exemplifies his faith. As long as he continues to walk uprightly before the Lord, Governor Rick Perry has my vote. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord and the people whom He has chosen for His inheritance" Psalm 33:12. If you want this nation to be blessed, vote for a man or woman of God; one who has faith in the Lord, lives an exemplary life and prays.
