The 31-year-old, now classified as a pedophile, had claimed his cultural background meant age was not a relevant factor in choosing a wife or sexual partner, the County Court in Melbourne heard. In sentencing the man, who migrated as a refugee from a north-Asian country, Judge Lisa Hannan said his continued sexual relationship with the girl - from the age of eight until she fell pregnant was repulsive and defied morality. The court heard the man, who was married to an adult at the time of the offending and already had a child, had an IQ in the bottom 5% for his age group. "Your conduct is abhorring to anyone with even a shred of decency or moral compass," Judge Hannan said. "Whether or not it may or might have been acceptable in any culture in any part of the world is irrelevant." The court heard the man who pleaded guilty to charges of persistent sexual abuse of a minor and child stealing, who had told authorities that in his cultural background "there were no restrictions on age" for a relationship. Judge Hannan said the man knew he was breaking Australian law, that he initially lied about having sex with the child and attempted to procure an abortion before a baby was born in 2010. "You knew what you were doing was wrong," the judge said. Judge Hannan, in setting a seven year minimum, said his "disgraceful desires had robbed her of her childhood. Judge Hannan also disputed the extent of the man's remorse, noting he continued to try to justify his relationship with her - including saying he loved her "for real." "I do not think you are truly remorseful...indeed you still seek to justify it."
Commentary: This is another good reason why we in America need to deport Muslims from the US and abolish mosques. These people all believe pedophilia is okay; it is permitted by Shariah law! Even their idolized and worshipped prophet Mohammed had a six-year-old wife, Aisha! A little girl is not emotionally or physically able to handle sexual intercourse with a grown man at the age of eight or nine. Why don't we just call it what it is. It is not according to the charges indicated above by the Australian prosecutor's office, "persistent sexual abuse of a minor and child stealing." This is actually kidnapping and sexual and emotional torture of a child. Why do these prosecutors and judges always downplay everyone's crime! It is torture and kidnapping plain and simple! I do have to give them one credit, they prosecuted the man. I'm afraid that the way things are going in the US, he would be given protection under all of the anti-Islamophobe atmosphere in America! The US is becoming so afraid of hurting a Muslim's feelings here that Christianity will be banned entirely before you know it! It's true, the Bible says it: "Fear none of those things which you will suffer; behold, the devil will cast some of you in prison and you will be tried and you will have tribulation ten days: be faithful unto death and I will give you a crown of life" Revelation 2:10.

Commentary: Six major (6.0+) earthquakes have hit throughout the world in less than six days (less than an hour into day six), hitting record numbers still. "There will be great earthquakes in various places, famines, pestilences, and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven" Luke 21:11.

ChicagoTribune.com: Those looking for some kind of break from the heat of the last week got it overnight - a rainstorm that dropped temperatures into the low 70s, but like the heatwave that preceded it, this rainstorm was anything but ordinary. According to the ChicagoWeatherCenter.com, the total rainfall at O'Hare - 6.91 inches as of about 6:50 am - is the largest single day rainfall since records began in 1871. The highest previous daily total was 6.64 inches on September 12, 2008, and more rain is on the way. There were rainfall totals as high as 7 inches as the storm moved noisily through the Chicago area after midnight, resulting in flash flood warnings from the national weather service and enough flooded roads and highways to make life miserable for passengers headed to or from O'Hare International Airport and make a mess of traffic overnight and into Saturday morning. The north side got the brunt of the rain, with O'Hare International Airport getting 5.53 inches in two hours, according to ChicagoWeatherCenter.com. Some other totals of note reported by the Weather Center: 6.41 inches in Glenview, 5.4 inches in Arlington Heights, and 5.49 inches in Elk Grove Village. At Little Village Academy on Chicago's west side, the total was 7.84 inches, and the rain still hasn't left town for good. More rain is expected when some storms move in from the west. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District opened the locks at Wilmette and the Chicago River downtown this morning, according to the Chicago Park District. Because opening the locks causes backflow of storm runoff and sewage into the lake, precautionary swim bans were put into effect at all beaches along the Chicago Lake front until test results show low levels of bacteria in the water. The rain also flooded the Winnetka Public Library's lower level with about two feet of water, according to a press release from the library, closing the building today and tomorrow at least. No library materials were affected because the damage was primarily limited to staff areas. The Northfield Branch Library remains open. The storm also interrupted electrical service for some. About noon ComEd reported that about 74,000 customers were without power: 40,000 north of the city, 27,000 in Chicago, and 3,000 west and south of the city. The utility, which has about 350 crews out working to restore power, said that more than 150,000 customers experienced power outages at some point. Among areas affected at one point was Grant Park, where the absence of working traffic lights added to the day's traffic woes.
Commentary: It continues nonstop. Over 400 tornadoes already this season throughout the US, record flooding of the Mississippi, which affected numerous states, more flooding throughout the US, wildfires here in the US, as well as throughout the world. Do you see the same picture of disasters I am seeing? These are predicted in the Word of God for the last days, "Know this, that in the last days perilous times will come" 2 Timothy 3:1. "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars, and distress of nations upon the earth with perplexity, the sea and waves roaring" Luke 21:25. The world hasn't seen flooding and tsunamis in our day like those suffered during the Katrina storm in Louisiana and the tsunamis in Indonesia and Japan. We are seeing Bible prophecy unfold before our eyes.

cbc.ca: Ontario is still struggling to contain at least 111 forest fires that have forced the evacuation of almost 3,600 people. Thirteen new fires were detected Friday and more than 5,000 square kilometers (over 3,100 mi), mostly in northwestern Ontario, are burning. It is not necessary to declare a state of emergency right now to deal with forest fires that have driven thousands of people from their homes, Premier Dalton McGuinty said Friday. McGuinty was in northwestern Ontario to survey the damage and talk with fire personnel, volunteers and evacuees, and said he would "leave that door open," but for now the province was doing a lot already to help. "We're listening to advice that we get, but it doesn't appear to us, certainly at this point in time, to be necessary, McGuinty said. "I think if I was caught up in this, I have one question alone, that is, 'Are we doing everything necessary to protect me, my property, to get these fires out?' I think those are the big questions everyone is asking and the answer in all three cases is, yes we are." The situation is an emergency as far as he is concerned and the province is treating it as such, McGuinty said. Help being provided includes aircraft and financial support for the effort, he said. "I've also said to the folks I've met with here today, 'If there's anything else we need to do, you need to let us know," McGuinty said. "I'm confident we're doing what needs doing."
Commentary: If you click on the Fires Category to the right of this web page, you can read about all of the devastating fires plaguing the world this year. The Bible says that there will be signs in the heaven and earth in the last days, before Christ returns, "I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath, blood, fire and vapor of smoke" Acts 2:19. Some have died because of the massive fires, but the devastation to wildlife is untold, as these fires rage through thousands of acres of land. Truly there has been record breaking blood, fire and vapor of smoke throughout the world this year.

Associated Press: London - Rescuers in Scotland say they have guided 44 pilot whales stranded in an estuary back to sea, but 25 other whales from the pod did not survive the incident and died. Many of the animals died overnight after the pod of whales became stranded at the Kyle of Durness in Scotland's far north at low tide on Friday. The British Divers Marine Life Rescue said many of the whales had been left on their sides on top of each other, or upside down so they were breathing in sand. A team of rescuers refloated some of the whales using inflatable pontoons as the water returned. It said Saturday that postmortem examinations would be carried out to determine what caused the stranding and the deaths.
Commentary: The world is languishing because of the sins of men. The Bible tells us that this is what happened when the children of Israel sinned and disobeyed God; "The land is defiled, therefore, I visit the iniquity on it and the land itself vomits out her inhabitants" Leviticus 18:25. Much later, the prophet Hosea spoke of how the inhabitants of the world will languish in the last days, because of the sins of man, "The land will mourn and everyone that dwells in it will languish, with the beasts of the field and the fowls of heaven, yes, even the fishes of the sea will be taken away" Hosea 4:3. Wake up people; the very animals are suffering, languishing and even committing suicide because of the sins of man. Look around you. Children are being kidnapped, raped, murdered; I have read twice recently where women baked their own children in microwave ovens - yes - roasted alive!! We are living in a very sin sick world. All nations are rising up against Israel. If you just read the Word of God, you will read about everything you see around you right now, which the Bible says are signs of the very last days before the return of Christ. He could return at any moment! Are you ready for His return? Will you enter into heaven, into his glory forever, or will you burn in hell forever and forever (Psalm 9:17 and Mark 9:45). DailyMail.co.uk: Suspected members of the Taliban hung the eight-year-old son of a police commander after ordering his father to surrender, it was claimed today. The Deutsche Presse-Agentur News Agency reported that the young boy was kidnapped by militants in the Greshk district of Helmand province last Tuesday. He was hanged on Friday after they demanded that his father give himself up or else the boy would be executed. The militants had warned his father to surrender with his police vehicle and weapons, otherwise they would kill his son, provincial spokesman governor Daud Ahmadi told the agency. While child executions by the Taliban are not common, children often fall victims to Taliban militants when they carry out attacks. Youngsters have also been used by the Taliban as suicide bombers. Two months ago four civilians were killed and 12 others were injured when a 12-year-old suicide bomber blew himself up at a crowded market in eastern Afghanistan. The Taliban have always denied using children to carry out their attacks.
Commentary: This article in DailyMail did not provide the name of the reporter, most likely for safety reasons. On the other hand, I am commissioned by God to tell the truth and I will say it. Whoever the reporter is, has one thing most certainly wrong, when he/she said that "child executions by the Taliban are not common;" lie, lie, lie! In one way or another, these militants are responsible for the deaths of children on an ongoing basis, by suicide bombing, by severe punishment involving Shariah law, by using them has human shields - the list goes on and on and on... Allah is actually Satan and these people are all children of Satan and they will do the bidding of their master. Barack Hussein Obama has said on at least two occasions, "We (Americans) are not and never will be at war with Islam." Well, speak for yourself Barack Hussein Obama. I am at war with Islam! Every Christian is at war with Islam! We should all be at war with people who use and treat children in such a manner, without evening going further to say that we are at war with everything about Islam - because Islam is Satanic. Jesus said to the scribes and the Pharisees of that day, "You are of your father the devil!" John 8:44. Of course, this is why they crucified Jesus and martyred the apostles, but are we any less then they? We, as Christians, have to call a devil a devil, and if you are afraid, or you don't want to call evil what it is, you are compromising and I dare say, you are none of His! Every Christian man, who is a Godly man, in this nation should be protesting to have all Muslims deported from this nation, if you want to stand for what is right and the future safety of your children! If you haven't figured it out already, you need to know that Islam is a Satanic religion - of the Antichrist, and if you don't make a stand against it now in American - if you remain silent, you may one day be watching your own child hang! We cannot afford to be silent. To be silent is to accept!

Reuters (excerpts): Sundvollen, Norway - A suspected right-wing fanatic accused of killing at least 92 people deemed his acts "atrocious" yet "necessary" as Norway mourned victims of the nations worst attacks since World War II. In his first comment via lawyer since he was arrested, 32-year-old Norwegian Anders Behring Breivik expressed willingness to explain himself in court at a hearing likely to be held on Monday about extending protective custody. "He has said he believed the actions were atrocious, but that in his head they were necessary," lawyer Geir Lippestad told independent TV2 News. Police said Breivik gave himself up after admitting to a massacre in which at least 85 people died, mostly young people attending summer camp of the youth wing of Norway's ruling Labour Party on an idyllic island. Breivik was also arrested for the bombing of Oslo's government district that killed seven people hours earlier. Norway's toughest sentence is 21 years in jail. Police said they were seeking several missing people and the toll could rise to 98, in the worst case. Lippestad, speaking late on Saturday, did not give more details of possible motives by Breivik. Breivik hated "cultural marxists," wanted a "crusade" against the spread of Islam and liked guns and weightlifting, web postings, acquaintances and officials said. A video posted to the YouTube website showed several pictures of Breivik, including one of him in a Navy Seal type scuba diving outfit pointing an automatic weapon. "Before we can start our crusade, we must do our duty by decimating cultural marxism," said a caption under the video called "Nights Templar 2083" on the YouTube website, which took down the video on Saturday. A Norwegian website provided a link to a 1,500 page electronic manifesto which says Breivik was the author. It was not possible to verify who posted the video or wrote the book. "Once you decide to strike, it is better to kill too many than not enough, or you risk reducing the desired ideological impact of the strike," the book said. "We are all in sorrow; everybody is scared," said Imran Shah, a Norwegian taxi driver of Pakistani heritage, as a light summer drizzle fell on unusually empty Oslo streets. "At first people thought Muslims were behind this," he said of some initial suspicions that the attacks might have been by Al Qaeda perhaps in protest at NATO-member Norway's role in Afghanistan or Iraq. Some terrified survivors of the shooting rampage said bullets came from at least two sides. "We are not at all certain he acted alone," Police Chief Sveinung Sponheim said. "That is one of the things that the investigation will concentrate on." Police took almost 1.5 hours to stop the massacre, the worst by a single gunman in modern times. "The response time from when we got the message was quick. There were problems with transport out to the island," he said, defending the delay. Witnesses said the gunman, wearing a police uniform, was able to shoot unchallenged for a prolonged period. He picked off his victims on Utoeya Island northwest of Oslo, forcing youngsters to scatter in panic or to jump into the lake to swim for the mainland. "I heard screams, I heard people begging for their lives and I heard shots. He just blew them away," Labour Party youth member Erik Kursetgjerde, 18, told Reuters. "I was certain I was going to die," he said. "People ran everywhere. They panicked, climbed into trees and people got trampled." The bloodbath was believed to be the deadliest attack by a lone gunman anywhere in modern times. The suspect, tall and blond, owned an organic farming company called Breivik Geofarm, which a supply firm said he used to buy fertilizer - possibly to make the Oslo bomb. Home-grown antigovernment militants have struck elsewhere in the past, notably in the United States, where Timothy McVeigh killed 168 people with a truck bomb in Oklahoma City in 1995. The district attacked is the heart of power in Norway, but security is not tight in a country unused to such violence and better known for awarding the Nobel Peace Prize and mediating in conflicts, including the Middle East and Sri Lanka.
Commentary: First of all, I am a conservative, but I don't go around slaughtering innocent children, or anyone else. This guy is "wacked in the head," to put it mildly. The fact that this terrorizing, torturing, murdering maniac can't get any more time than 21 years makes the whole country of Norway insane. I would like to invite all of the murdering, torturing, kidnapping, raping, butchering.....maniacs to get on the next flight out of wherever you are to head for Norway. If you get caught doing any of your insane murderous acts there, you can only get 21 years! If Norway gets enough of you, maybe they will institute some REAL laws. The Word of God tells us that in the last days there will be more and more of these demon possessed maniacs running around, so prepare yourselves, "Know this also, that in the last days, perilous times will come" 2 Timothy 3:1. AFP: White House talks, to avert a disastrous early August debt default, teetered on the edge of collapse late Friday, as Republican House Speaker John Boehner abruptly quit the negotiations. US President Barack Obama condemned Boehner's decision and angrily called top lawmakers to the White House for emergency negotiations at 11 am (1500 GMT) Saturday, warning, "We have run out of time" with an August deadline looming. "I expect them to have an answer in terms of how they intend to get this thing done over the course of the next week. The American people expect action, the president said at a hastily called public appearance. Obama said Boehner, House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, and Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell "must have some answers" to reassure skittish global markets. Obama insisted that any agreement to raise the 14.3 trillion debt limit will last through his November 2012 reelection bid and declared himself "confident" of reaching a deal to do so because of critical stakes for the US economy. "I cannot believe that Congress would end up being that irresponsible that they would not send a package that avoids a self-inflicted wound to the economy at a time when things are so difficult," he declared. Obama's remarks came just half-an-hour after Boehner telephoned him to say he was backing out of often acrimonious negotiations that had centered, Republican aides said, on a plan to cut $3-$3.5 trillion from US debt over ten years. Boehner said in a letter to members of the House of Representatives that he was walking away because the Democratic president was insisting on increasing tax revenue collected from rich and wealthy corporations. "I have decided to end discussions with the White House and begin conversations with the leaders of the Senate in an effort to find a path forward," Boehner said in a letter to members of the House of Representatives. Washington hit its debt ceiling on May 16, but has used spending and accounting adjustments, as well as higher than expected tax receipts, to pay its bills and continue operating up through August 2. Finance and business leaders have warned failure to raise the US debt ceiling by then would send shock waves through the world economy, while Obama has predicted a default will trigger economic "Armageddon." A House Republican leadership aide told reporters on condition of anonymity that Boehner believed he needed to have a detailed plan to present to House Republicans by Monday. Boehner and Obama were at odds on a range of issues, but a key sticking point was the White House's push for increasing tax revenues from the rich and wealthy corporations, something Republicans fiercely opposed. "A deal was never really reached and was never really close. In the end, we couldn't connect. Not because of different personalities, but because of different visions for our country;" Boehner said in his letter to the House. "The president is emphatic that taxes have to be raised. As a former small businessman, I know tax increases destroy jobs." The responses from other congressional leaders did little to fuel expectations that a deal could quickly be reached. McConnell called the collapse "disappointing" and vowed to tackle the nations unsustainable debt but without job-killing tax hikes. Reid stressed that we must avert a default at all costs, but condemned Republicans for an ideological opposition to ending taxpayer-funded giveaways for millionaires, jet owners and oil companies. Boehner said at a press conference later that no one wants to default on the full faith and credit of the United States government, and I am convinced that we will not. Commentary: As well-meaning as Mr. Boehner is, according to the Word of God, the world is going to suffer unavoidable economic collapse in these last days, so prepare yourselves. I don't believe the children of God will be here through much of turmoil that will ultimately hit the earth, according to what the scriptures say: Ezekiel 7:9 "They will cast their silver in the streets and their gold will be removed (confiscated); their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of God; they will not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels, because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity (money)." Nevertheless, the Bible tells us that God's wrath is not for Christians, so we will be raptured out of the world before His great wrath falls, "God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" 1 Thessalonians 5:9. Jesus said, "Watch and pray always that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man (Jesus)" Luke 21:36. We are approaching the Lord's return, in that all of the indicators are there: "signs in the heaven and the earth" Acts 2:19; "earthquakes in various places" Mark 13:8; "nation will rise against nation" Mark 13:8; "This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations, then the end will come" Matthew 24:14.
