National Weather Service Update: The strongest quake in the Philippines has been upgraded to 6.6. A tsunami warning was cancelled, although the National Weather Service warns the public to stay away from beaches and advises it is not safe for fishermen to go out to sea.
INAS - Manila (excerpts): Four earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from magnitudes 5 - 6.4 hit the Philippines early Tuesday. The tremblers hit Philippines Negros Occidental province, with the latest taking place at 6:49 am local time. The strongest quake occurred at 4:47 am, at a depth of 20.1 km (12.5 mi) west of Cauayan City in Negro Occidental province in central Philippines. The other two quakes measured at 5.5 and 5.7 magnitudes shortly after 5 am on Tuesday. No casualties have been reported.
My Comments: A magnitude of 6.4 is another major earthquake and they appear to be occurring at least once or twice a week throughout the world. These are record breaking quakes and the Word of God says they will increase in frequency before Jesus returns. Jesus said, "There will be great earthquakes in various places, famines pestilences, and fearful sights and great signs from heaven" Luke 21:11. He also said in Luke 12:37, "Blessed are those servants whom the Lord will find watching when he comes; truly I tell you, He will prepare Himself and make them sit down to eat, and will come to serve them."

On the verge of catastrophe? (file picture). DailyMail.co.uk (excepts): Is the world's largest super-volcano set to erupt for the first time in 600,000 years, wiping out two-thirds of the US? The super-volcano beneath Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming has been rising at a record rate since 2004. It would explode with a force a thousand times more powerful than the Mount St Helens eruption in 1980. Spewing lava far into the sky, a cloud of ash that would fan out and dump a layer 10 ft deep up to 1,000 miles away. Two-thirds of the US could become uninhabitable as toxic air sweeps through it, grounding thousands of flights and forcing millions to leave their homes. This is the nightmare that scientists are predicting could happen if the world's largest super-volcano erupts for the first time in 600,000 years, as it could do in the near future. Yellowstone National Park's caldera has erupted three times in the last 2.1 million years and researchers monitoring it say we could be in for another eruption. They said that the super-volcano underneath the Wyoming Park has been rising at a record rate since 2004 - its floor has gone up three inches per year for the last three years alone, the fastest rate since records began in 1923. Hampered by a lack of data, they have stopped short of an all-out warning and they are unable to put a date on when the next disaster might take place. When the eruption finally happens, it will dwarf the effect of Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano, which erupted in April last year causing travel chaos around the world. The University of Utah's Bob Smith, an expert in Yellowstone's volcanism told National Geographic: "It's an extraordinary uplift, because it covers such a large area and the rates are so high." In Yellowstone, some 400 miles beneath the earth's surface is a magma "hot spot" which rises to 30 miles underground before spreading out over an area of 300 miles across. Atop this, but still beneath the surface, sits the slumbering volcano. Scientists monitoring it believe that a swelling magma reservoir six miles underground may be causing the recent uplifts. They have also been keeping an eye on a "pancake-shaped" blob" of molten rock the size of Los Angeles which was pressed into the volcano some time ago. Due to the extreme conditions, it has been hard to work out what exactly is going on down below. Leading researchers are unable to say with certainty what will happen or when. "Clearly, some deep source of magma feeds Yellowstone and since Yellowstone has erupted in the recent geological past, we know that there is magma at shallower depths too," said Dan Dzurisin, a Yellowstone expert with the US Geological Survey Cascades Volcano Observatory in Washington State. There has to be magma in the crust, or we wouldn't have all the hydrothermal activity that we have."My Comments: There is a lot of uncertainty among the scientific community about this volcano, but I can tell you that there are currently 15 volcanoes erupting across the globe at the present. AFP: Catalina Airport on the east coast of the island of Sicily was not expected to reopen before Sunday morning while the runway was cleared, the report said. The volcano, which currently does not present any risk to local residents, spewed lava onto its southeastern slopes on Saturday afternoon and winds carried the ash further afield. Etna is the highest active volcano in Europe at 3,295 metres (10,810 feet). The last eruption was in May. A massive flood of meltwater from Iceland's Myrdalsjoekull glacier, meanwhile, has raised fears of an eruption from the powerful Katla volcano there.

IcelandReview.com: The Civil Protection Department has lifted the danger level on the Myrdalssandur plains in south Iceland, now only Myrdalsjokull is off limits. The activity in the glacier, which cover the volcano Katla, has subsided significantly in the past hour. Around 200 people who were evacuated from Alftaver and Medalland this morning had been allowed to return to the area mbl.is reports. This was decided at a meeting between earth scientists and the Civil Protection Department at 3 pm. However, the situation is still considered risky and so the areas around the glacier have been downgraded to the uncertainty level and the Icelandic Meteorological Office will continue to monitor the situation closely ruv.is reports. It is still not clear whether this was simply a case of glacial flooding, or whether there was in fact a small eruption underneath the glacier. Scientists are preparing to fly across the glacier to learn more about the circumstances.
My Comments: As I have said repeatedly over the last several months, as these volcanoes continue to erupt, the Bible prophecy points to eruptions and I believe they will continue, becoming more frequent. English.Vientnamnet.vn: VientnamNet Bridge - For the past week, thousands of fish died and floated on Hanoi's Truc Bach Lake, causing serious pollution. Those who pass Hanoi's most romantic road, Thanh Nien (Youth) Road, these days have to hold their noses because of the bad smell from the lake. Newly dead fish float to the lakes shore every morning, disintegrated and give out smell. Some fished out dead fish to make fertilizer or to feed their pigs. A local man said he could collect up to 500 kg of dead fish in the morning. The deaths are reported to have been caused by high levels of pollution in the water, a situation that has happened several times before. According to the Center for Environmental Monitoring and Analysis, the lake is severely polluted with ammonia and other pollutants. Nearby residents believe the problem is created by restaurants and some households using the lake as a garbage dump for all of their waste. A committee has been formed to investigate. This is not the first time this phenomenon happened. In June 2009 and March 2010, fish also died en mass in the lake, causing heavy pollution. Truc Bach Lake is located northwest of Hanoi's Old Quarter, immediately adjacent to the eastern shore of the city's largest lake, the West Lake, a former branch of the Red River, whose west bank is nearby. Truc Bach Lake was separated from the West Lake by the construction of a narrow dike (Co Ngu) in the 17th century to allow raising fish. In 1957 and 1958, Major Thanh Nien Road was built between the lakes. The lake front is open only along Thanh Nien Road, the other sides are occupied by houses and residential streets. The lake is among the most seriously polluted in Hanoi. Nearby historical sites include: Quan Thanh Temple to the southwest of the lake, Chou Long Bagoda to the east, An Tri Temple on Pho Duc Chinh Street and Cau Nhi Temple on a small hill near the northern corner of the lake.
My Comments: For whatever reason these massive fish deaths are occurring all around the globe, it is prophetic. The Bible says (speaking of the last days): "The land will mourn and everyone that dwells in it will languish with the beasts of the field, and the fowls of heaven, yes, and the fishes of the sea will also be taken away" Hosea 4:3

USGS: A 7.1 magnitude quake hit off the East Coast of Honshu, Japan Sunday, 7/10/11 at 00:57:12 UTC, at a depth of 34.9 km (21.7 mi). A tsunami warning has not been issued at this point.
My Comments: We have never had the volume of quakes at this magnitude anywhere in the world like they are occurring now. "There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences in various places, and fearful sights and great signs from heaven" Luke 21:11.

JihadWatch: Munawar Hasan is the president of Jamaat-e-Islami of Pakistan, the country's largest and most powerful pro-Sharia party. I have embedded a video which includes his speech regarding this matter on the News Videos page of this website. This video is not in English, unfortunately, but in it he says that a woman should not report being raped unless she has four male Muslim witnesses who saw the act. In this he is on solid Qu'ranic ground. "Why did they not produce four witnesses? Since they produce not witnesses, they verily are liars in the sight of Allah" (Qu'ran 24:13). The Malaysian Islamic reformist group Sisters in Islam has pointed out the injustice of this: "In Pakistan, it is reported that three out of four women in prison under its Hudud laws [these are the laws of what is forbidden and permitted by Allah himself], are rape victims. Because rape is equated with zina [unlawful sexual intercourse] under Hudud law, rape victims are required to produce four pious male witnesses. It is of course nearly impossible for the rape victims to produce the four male witnesses required to prove their allegation. Therefore their police report of rape was taken as a confession of illicit sex on their part and they were duly found guilty.
My Comments: I am finally silenced; I am so astounded by this, I am speechless. I believe the hideous stupidity of the announcement itself is enough to convince you of how ridiculously lame in the mind these people become when they give themselves over to this thinking long enough. MailOnline (excerpts): A United Nations official said that the US was in breach of international law when they put Humberto Leal to death in a prison in Texas last night. The 38-year-old Mexican citizen was executed by lethal injection for raping and bludgeoning Adria Sauceda, 16, to death with a 40-pound chunk of asphalt. UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay said Leal's execution "raises particular legal concerns," including whether he had access to consular services and a fair trial. Pillay also cited a 2004 International Court of Justice ruling saying the US must review and reconsider the cases of 51 Mexican nationals sentenced to death, including Leal's. He claims this never happened. In his last statement before he died, Leal apologized to the victims family and asked for their forgiveness, according to MSNBC. He said, "I truly am sorry. That is all. Let's get this show on the road." "One more thing, viva Mexico, viva Mexico." Texas executed Leal despite objections from President Barack Obama's administration that the action would violate international treaty obligations and put US citizens abroad at risk. The high court's 5-4 decision was a setback for the administration. While there were few who doubted his guilt, Garcia's lawyers said he was not given the chance to contact the Mexican consul which was his right under the Vienna Convention. The White House also fears that his execution could affect US diplomatic interests. Governor of Texas, Rick Perry, had already rejected appeals to stop the execution from former President George W. Bush, as well as diplomats, judges, senior military officers and the United Nations. Before the Supreme Court ruling came through a spokesman said the governor had no plans to halt the execution and the Texas Attorney General's Office has urged the Supreme Court not to intervene. Leal made the 45-mile trip to Huntsville Unit of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice from death row at the Polunski Unit, just outside Livingston. Prison officials described him as calm. Leal's final meal request included fried chicken, tacos, fried okra and a bowl of pico de gallo. He selected a sister, one of his attorneys and three friends to witness his lethal injection. Also scheduled to witness are two friends of the father of his victim, 16-year-old Adria Sauceda of San Antonio. Leal was convicted in 1994 of raping the girl before bludgeoning her to death with a 30-40 pound piece of asphalt rock, roughly twice the size of the victim's skull in San Antonio, Texas. Texas authorities failed to tell Leal, who was born in Mexico and has lived in the US since the age of two, that under the Vienna convention he was entitled to contact the Mexican consulate when he was arrested.
My Comments: Okay, I could just hear him now, "Hello, Consulate. My name is Humberto Leal and I left there when I was two years old, but......" Let's add, "...resident of the US since he was two years old, fluent English speaker, who had exhausted all legal appeals to the "um-teenth degree," to that statement in the caption above. You know, some people want to stick to red tape to the point it becomes ridiculous and retarded. The law, which was never officially enacted by Congress, was never meant to be applied in such a manner as this. As I stated on a former post, it isn't like he lived in Africa and only speaks Xhosa. Humberto Leal APOLOGIZED to the victims family, as he was executed yesterday, and you still have people all over the nation whining "Humberto could have saved himself by calling the Mexican consulate, but he didn't get the chance!!" How ridiculous is that in light of his CONFESSION? "The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God; for it is written, 'He takes the wise in their own craftiness'" 1 Corinthians 3:19. HELLO, is anyone home?? You have the president, himself, taking up "poor Humberto's" cause, because he is being treated so unfairly. I'll tell you what I believe the UN's and Barack Hussein Obama's agendas are, that is, these Muslims (yes, the UN members are 2/3rds Muslim) can't stomach seeing any man put to death for his treatment against a woman - rape and murder or otherwise. To them it's like executing someone for "kicking the dog;" this is first. Second, Barack Obama is doing cartwheels to gain votes from Mexicans throughout the US, so he is showing much favoritism to this ethnic group, as well as blacks. Third, I believe he has shown favoritism to Mexico because of the formation of the North American Union (consolidating the US, Canada and Mexico). Obama is "One World Government" fixated and the North American Union is an important part of his agenda. He can't convince me he is concerned about US citizens imprisoned in other nations, since he is willing to let Texas burn, while he sends military planes to help put out fires in Mexico. I'm sure that Governor Rick Perry and other Texas law makers didn't forget that when Texas asked the Obama administration to help fight their wildfires, Obama turned a deaf ear. Nevertheless, about the same time, Mexico called on the administration for help with their wildfires and Obama sent military planes to Mexico to help put out their fires. I know, I've talked about that before, but I'm going to keep harping about it because I think Obama needs to go and run for the presidency in Mexico, not here!
I sent Governor Perry a "Thank You" for taking a stand for justice in this case and I would urge you to do the same. You can send an email message from his website at www.governor.state.tx.us. As I was leaving his site, I happened to notice he had a video about hurricane preparedness, so I listened to the short clip. I then noticed at the end of his announcement he said, "God bless you, and through you, may He continue to bless the great state of Texas." This impressed me greatly, folks. I can't remember when I have seen a politician refer to the name of God; it was a sound for sore ears. I believe the governor invokes the blessings of God, as he gives honor to the Lord publicly. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord and the people He has chosen for His own inheritance" Psalm 33:12. This scripture is an Old Testament scripture concerning Israel, however, the Lord makes it very clear in the New Testament that we are "joint heirs" (Romans 8:17) with Christ and "grafted in" (Romans 11:17) as the people of God, when we serve Him.

I was researching the internet regarding a different doctor and actually came up with Dr. Eboo Patel, which was no "coincidence." I believe I found out some very interesting information about this particular doctor, I had never head of before, by divine direction.
Dr. Eboo Patel is a member of Barack Obama's inaugural Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships. He is an American Muslim of Gujarati Indian heritage and founder and president of the Interfaith Youth Core, a Chicago-based international nonprofit that aims to promote interfaith cooperation. Dr. Patel has a blog at the Washington Post International online, The Faith Divide, which explores what drives faiths apart and what brings them together. He is on the Religious Advisory Committee of the Council on Foreign Relations and the National Committee of Aga Khan Foundation. Now why do you suppose, if he is so interfaith oriented, he doesn't belong to any Jewish or Christian committees (if he ever reads this post, I'm sure he will probably find himself one. After all, he has to do a real good job covering up his real agenda.) The Aga Khan Foundation received the 2005 Award for the Most Innovative Development Project from the Global Development Network for the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) in Pakistan (97% Muslim). This program receives US government grants, and I would be very interested in learning how much, but every internet search I have done so far to ascertain the figures has come up a "dead end." I have found some very enlightening information regarding the Aga Khan Foundation, however. It seems that since the early 1900s, Aga Khan representatives, while transporting donations out of the country, have been arrested on three different occasions for money laundering, some of the highest volumes of cash documented.
Dr. Eboo Patel is a Muslim, who is not only setting out to condition the minds of our youth regarding "interfaith concepts," but he is also on a committee for the Aga Khan Foundation, an Islamic Imam organization. Was there a reason for Obama selecting this man to preside over the international Interfaith Youth Core, responsible for indoctrinating youth throughout the nation's public schools? Absolutely - Dr. Patel is a hard-core Muslim. The adage comes to mind, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer," as I read Dr. Patel's biography and his commission. Once a Muslim, always a Muslim, unless God delivers an individual from this heresy. Muslims all believe in the Qu'ran, right? One of the basic fundamental beliefs of Muslims is that they are to convert or subdue all other other people of other faiths, no getting around it while remaining a Muslim. Either Dr. Patel is a "hypocritical Muslim," or he has an underlying agenda. Truly, if you want to use the power of persuasion in the lives of children and young adults, you do not alienate them with controversy, you rather patiently mold their way of thinking.
Oh my, there he is (photo at top) getting ready to speak at a CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) convention. I imagine he is highly regarded within that group. I am all for people living in harmony, but this goes way beyond that. If you are interested in unbiased interfaith, why not three leaders representing the three major faiths at issue, instead of one Muslim running the program? There is an agenda...
John the Revelator wrote about a false prophet and one world religion in the last days, "I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon (Satan), out of the mouth of the beast (Antichrist) and out of the mouth of the false prophet" Revelation 16:13. John saw spiritually what would happen in these last days, during the tribulation period. Figuratively, he saw evil spirits at work through the mouths of Satan, the Antichrist (leader of the one world government) and the false prophet. These three will work in unison to deceive the nations in the last days. This spirit is at work in the world now.

FoxNews.com: A Michigan resident is facing up to 93 days in jail for planting a vegetable garden in her front yard, MyFoxDetroit.com reports. Julie Bass, of Oak Park, Michigan was first given a warning, followed by a ticket and now she is being charged with a misdemeanor for her simple front yard garden. I think it's sad that the City of Oak Park, that's already strapped for cash, is paying a lot of money to have a prosecutor bothering us," Bass told Fox 2's Alexis Wiley. The city is claiming that the garden violates a city code which states that front yards must consist of suitable, live plant material to which Bass responds, "We think it's suitable." "They say, 'Why should you grow things in the front?' Well, why shouldn't I? They're fine. They're pretty. They're well maintained," Bass told the station. "I could sell out and save my own self and just not have them bother me anymore, but then there's no telling what they're going to harass the next person about," continued Bass. A pretrial is scheduled for July 26 and a jury trial could be next.

Personal Liberty Digest: Putting the Small Farmers Out of Business: The Federal Government has long been legislating in an effort to eliminate the small farmer, and increasingly local governments are doing so as well. The government's efforts - under the guise of making our food safer - have all but put off limits good, healthful foods like whole raw milk and truly organic meats and vegetables grown by local farmers. The Federal Government, through the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and other alphabet soup organizations are constantly banning natural, good-for-you foods and inventing new restrictions that hurt the small farmer for the benefit of Monsanto, Archer Daniels Midland and other large entities. Local governments are also constantly devising zoning and other restrictions to hinder small farms, just like Lake Elmo, Minnesota is doing. This is not just a Minnesota problem, it is a national problem (see video: Freeing Small Farms on News Videos page of this website).
What better way to cull the population by the elitists, who no doubt have these large corporations "in their pockets," and "God forbid" average people like you and me should be able to grow enough food on our property to eat healthy and stay alive longer than they intend for us to.
