A 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit the Kermadec Islands region at 19:03:16 UTC, at a depth of 20 km (12.4 mi). The tsunami warning issued earlier today has been cancelled.
My Comments: I don't know if you have noticed or not, but these major magnitude earthquakes are happening more frequently, especially in the island areas throughout the world. If you look at the USGS lists, most of the higher magnitude earthquakes are happening at or near islands throughout the world www.earthquake.usgs.gov. The Bible tells us, "The heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together and every mountain and island were removed out of their places." Revelation 6:14. John saw this vision, as he was taken up to heaven, when the Lord showed him the things to come in the last days during the tribulation period. We are headed to that time very rapidly, friends. We should all be praying diligently for ourselves and our loved ones and we should be preparing to meet the Lord. Jesus said, "Watch and pray always, that you will be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of man (Jesus)." Luke 21:36.

Associated Press (excerpts): Orlando, FL: A case that involved years of forensic investigation, weeks of often highly technical testimony and untold hours of media analysis turned out to be pretty straight forward for the jurors weighing whether Casey Anthony killed her toddler daughter. Early in their second day of deliberations, the 12 men and women concluded that the 25-year-old lied to investigators, but wasn't guilty in her child's death. Many in the crowd of about 500 people outside the courthouse reacted with anger as the verdict was read, chanting, "Justice for Caylee!" One man yelled, "Baby killer!" Prosecutors contended that Anthony, a single mother living with her parents, suffocated Caylee with duct tape because she wanted to be free to hit the nightclubs and spend time with her boyfriend. Defense attorneys argued that the little girl accidentally drowned in the family swimming pool and that Anthony panicked and hid the body because of being sexually abused by her father. (This is exactly what the Mendez brothers did after they were charged with their parents' murders; they said they had been sexually assaulted by their father. When all else fails, say you hid your dead baby and waited a month to report her missing because you were sexually abused as a child - works almost every time.) The jurors, seven women and five men, would not talk to the media and their identities were kept secret by the court. (I would hide out too, if I came up with that verdict.) State's Attorney Lawson Lamar said: "We're disappointed in the verdict today because we know the facts and we've put in absolutely every piece of evidence that existed." The prosecutor lamented the lack of hard evidence, saying, "This is a dry-bones case; very, very difficult to prove. The delay in recovering little Caylee's remains worked to our considerable disadvantage." Caylee's disappearance went unreported by her own mother for a month. The child's decomposed body was eventually found in the woods near her grandparents' home six months after she was last seen. A medical examiner was never able to establish how she died. In closing arguments, prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick showed the jury two side-by-side images. One showed Anthony smiling and partying in a nightclub during the first month Caylee went missing. The other was the tattoo Anthony got a day before law enforcement learned of the child's disappearance: the Italian words for "beautiful life." Prosecutors also focused on an odor in the trunk of Anthony's car, which forensics experts said was consistent with the smell of human decay. Prosecutors hammered away at the lies Anthony told when the child was missing: She told her parents that she couldn't produce Caylee because the girl was with a nanny named Zanny - a woman who doesn't exist; that she and her daughter were spending time with a rich boyfriend who doesn't exist; and that Zanny had been hospitalized after an out-of-town traffic crash and that they were spending time with her (how about, Mr. Magoo has taken Caylee to the moon and they just haven't returned back yet). The defense contended that the toddler drowned and when Anthony panicked, her father, a former police officer, decided to make the death look like a murder by putting duct tape on the girl's mouth and dumping the body in the woods a quarter-mile away. Anthony's father denied both the cover-up and the abuse claims. (Now you would think that if a former police officer was trying to cover up an accident, which is absurd in the first place, he would hide the body a bit farther away than just a quarter-mile from his own home! - but this is all absurd anyway).
My Comments: The verdict is in and I wasn't surprised one bit. It appears that more often than not, the worse the case is, the more egregious, the more people are getting off. We live in a very wicked world, where your average person doesn't have discernment or the wisdom from God to make just and rational judgments anymore. I see this time and time again. I kept thinking lately, as bad as this case is, I imagine she is going to get off - that's exactly what happened! The Bible says, "How long will you judge unjustly and accept wicked people?" Psalm 82:2. "The earth has been given into the hands of the wicked; He (God) blindfolds the judges; if not God, who is responsible then?" Job 9:24. The world is steeped in wickedness, as the Bible says it will be in the last days. Time and time again, the Bible says that the wicked will be given over to reprobate minds, to believe lies, because of their wickedness. God will not always strive with men, to bring them to repentance. Once they reject Him often enough, He gives them over to their own deceit. "Because they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do things that are not convenient." Romans 1:28. I have one thing more to say. Casey Anthony didn't get away with anything. If she doesn't repent and turn to God, she will end up in hell fire for her very wicked deeds. "The Son of man (Jesus) will send forth His angels and they will gather out of His kingdom all that offend and those that do wickedly, and will cast them into a furnace of fire: There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 13:41-42

Fox News (excerpts): Robert H. Schuller has been ousted from Crystal Cathedral Ministries, the Ocean County Register reports. Schuller, 84, who began his ministry in an Orange, California Theater more than 50 years ago, was voted off the board of the Crystal Ministries, which has been plagued by financial problems and familial discord, according to the paper. Schuller's son, who was forced from the board three years ago, says his father wanted to enlarge the board, a move that did not sit well with others. According to the paper, the church's financial travails, including a significant drop in donations and dwindling membership, culminated in its filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The church still owes about 7.5 million to unsecured creditors, many of whom are vendors for the Cathedral's "Glory of Christmas" pageant. Robert Schuller has been at odds with his daughters over how they have chosen to run the church. Sheila Schuller Coleman required choir members to sign a covenant acknowledging Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and the belief that marriage should be between a man and a woman. The older Schuller publicly lashed out at the contract saying everyone is welcome in the church.
My Comments: I am glad to know that there are a couple within the Schuller family that still believe in Bible doctrine as truth. Notice, Sheila, Schuller's daughter, did not say people have to sign a covenant to "walk into the church," she obviously wants to be certain of the fundamental beliefs and commitment to the faith of those who participate in the choir. Schuller would be upset by this, because the man never preaches against sin (period). Half of Jesus's messages were warnings against living in sin, continuing in sin and the consequences of sin, hell fire. Schuller might "drop over dead" to hear the doctrine of Christ preached in the Crystal Cathedral. Schuller has historically preached sermons promoting self esteem, positive thinking, and how God condemns no one. He leaves out one very critical fact in that last topic, God condemns no one - who is justified by faith and continues walking in the light of God's Word." If God truly condemns no one, there would not be a Great White Throne Judgment after the thousand-year Millennial Reign of Christ - but there is a day of judgment. Jesus said, "I will warn you who you should fear: fear Him, which after He kills has the power to cast into hell, yes, I say to you, fear Him" Luke 12:5. "If the righteous is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and sinner appear?" 1 Peter 4:18. Jesus says it will be hell. You will never hear Robert Schuller say it, unless he gets saved. "The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts, they will heap on themselves teachers, having itching ears" 2 Timothy 4:3.

The Libyan Ministry of Health documented that during the first 100 days of NATO targeting civilians, 6,121 were killed or injured. The breakdown is as follows: 668 men were killed and 3,093 injured; 260 women killed and 1,318 injured; 141 children killed and 641 injured (ForeignPolicyJournal.com).
We, bankrupt America, are now involved in six wars in the Middle East against Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia and Libya. Why? I venture to say that not very many can answer that question, even while our youth are being shot and killed in some of these countries. Do you think it might be humanitarian reasons? Think again, and look at the post beneath this one, and if that picture hasn't started a war in centuries, forget our nation's feeling sorry for slaughtered citizens in the streets. Do you think it's oil? The old regimes weren't stopping us from getting oil before, and if they did hinder our economy, who is to say that we will fare any better with new governments (which is why we should do our own drilling, but that's another subject to be addressed)? We'll have to think a bit harder...Do you think it could be that we are trying to help all of those poor citizens achieve democratic governments, to improve their countries in the whole scheme of things? "Beeeep" - wrong answer, if you thought positive on that one. If that were the case, I would think we would have started with China, gone on to North Korea, then Vietnam (once again).
Consider this: 1) Obama is a Muslim and he's on a mission. One man, you don't think so? Just don't forget that a bipartisan group of Congressmen are suing Obama right now for his act of war in Libya without Congressional approval. 2) War makes the Federal Reserve bankers a lot of money, buko bucks. 3) Casualties? These elitists don't care that our sons and daughters are dying; they're always trying to figure out how to reduce the population anyway. Isn't it about time that all Americans stand up against those responsible for the needless slayings of our sons and daughters in the Middle East? If you search the internet for reasons why our administration pushed and pried their way into the Vietnam war, you will know what I'm talking about. It's time to wake up America!

Dearborn, Michigan is practically
owned by Muslims and Obama is migrating them into the US by the tens of thousands.
According to Walid Shoebat, a former PLO Terrorist from
Bethlehem (shoebat.com),
Muslims laugh at the Americans. He said they make fun of us, saying
they don't have to strike jihad ("holy war") in America, because Americans are so
stupid they (Muslims) can take over from within the US. The US is being
too "politically correct" to even survive! Christians are being
tortured, murdered and burned alive in Muslim nations, yet we allow them
to move in to America and we smile and say, "welcome."
If you search on the internet for "acid attacks against Muslim women," you will receive a glimpse of the hatred and horror that even their own women go through. Why? Because they are violent Muslims. It's as simple as that. Muslims are violent! The Word of God tells us,
"Know ye not that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey, whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Romans 6:16. Regardless of the lies they
tell (and they are allowed to lie to further Islam; it is called
"Al-taqiyya") they all believe that eventually all Christians
and Jews should and will be killed, if they do not convert to Islam.
Guess who they actually believe is going to
kill all of the Christians when their Mahdi (messiah) arrives? Jesus!
Yes, that's right, their holy books teach them that Jesus (Isa) will
return with the Mahdi and that he will denounce Christianity and try to
get everyone
to convert to Islam. If they do not convert to Islam, he will kill them.
(Qu'ran sura 43, ayat 57-67; Sahih al-Bukhari Volume 3, Book 43, Number
656).
Muslims, by their religion, are dangerous people. They intend to kill all of us who do not convert to
Islam. They all need to be deported. The Bible says,
"Mark those who cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned and avoid them" Romans 16:17. How do we avoid them in our own country? It's a thing called DEPORTATION.

Today, I received an urgent request for prayer from a dear friend for: "Darkhorse" 3rd Battalion 5th Marines and their families. She informs me that they are fighting in and out of Afghanistan and they have lost 9 Marines in the last 4 days. The fallen this week are: Justin Allen, 23; Brett Linley, 29; Matthew Weikert, 29; Justus Bartett, 27; Dave Santos, 21; Chase Stanley, 21; Jesse Reed, 26; Matthew Johnson, 21; Zachary Fisher, 24; Brandon King, 23; Christopher Goeke, 23; Sheldon Tate, 27. All of these gave their lives for you and me this week. Let's honor them and their families with our prayers, and please pass the message on. My heart goes out to the families of these young men; what tragedies! Our youth shouldn't be giving their lives in this way on foreign soil. We need to not only keep the families of these young heroes in our prayers, but we need to pray daily for the troops and families of all our military forces. Let's pray for those who don't know the Lord; not only their lives, but their eternal souls are at stake here. Jesus said, "Whoever lives and believes in Me will never die; do you believe this?" John 11:26. For these young troops who love the Lord, they have just gone on only a bit ahead of us to their eternal reward in heaven. This scripture comforted me when the Lord took my son at the age of 24, because Levi knew the Lord. There is no doubt in my mind that Levi is now with the Lord and he is waiting for our reunion there. The families of these need to have that same blessed assurance, so let's put them on our daily prayer list, that God will not only spare their mortal lives, but give their soul's newness of life in Him. Thank you and God bless you for your faithfulness.

The Korea Harold: Sydney (AFP) - Australian officials were on Saturday looking to isolate potential victims after uncovering two more cases of the deadly horse-borne Hendra virus, which has erupted in a second state. Spread to humans from horses, Hendra can lead to fatal respiratory illness and has killed four of the seven people who have contracted it in Australia since it was first documented in 1994. A fresh outbreak was detected in northern Queensland state in June, with nine people undergoing tests after exposure to a sick animal. Queensland authorities said they had discovered a second case about 70 kilometers (40 miles) from the first farm, which had forced two horses to be put down. The outbreaks were not believed to be linked. "Test results over nighthave confirmed this as a case of Hendra virus infection, Biosecurity Queensland said. "There are eight other horses on the property that are being monitored closely." Officials said as many as six people may have been exposed to the infected animal. A third case has also been identified in neighboring New South Wales state, according to biosecurity officials there, who stressed it was unlikely to be linked to the Queensland outbreaks. It is only the second time Hendra has been found in New South Wales. "The horse had been in a paddock containing a fig tree, so it is likely that flying foxes were the source of infection," State Health Director Jeremy McAnulty said. Nine people exposed to the sick horse were being tested for the killer virus, but McAnulty said they were at low to minimum risk. "All of the human infections that have occurred in the past have been linked to high level exposures to infected horses," he said. Named after the Brisbane suburb in which it was first documented and believed unique to Australia, Hendra is believed to be carried by fruit bats (flying foxes) and spread via their urine and droppings. The bats, which have no symptoms of disease, then pass the infection to the horses, possibly via half-chewed fruit or other water or food they contaminate, and these animals then transmit it to humans. Around 50 horses have died, or had to be put down, in 15 outbreaks of the virus since 1994.

Ydr.com (excerpts): York, PA - Harrisburg is a city on the brink of financial collapse. Week to week, city employees wait to see if officials will scrape together the money to cut their paychecks, creditors breathe down the necks of the city's elected leaders and the debt from a failed investment in the city's incinerator now tops $300 million, according to published report; and the state is closing in. Harrisburg has been undergoing Pennsylvania's Act 47 process in order to straighten out its financial future, but the act comes with some state recommendations - such as selling assets and raising taxes, that many in Harrisburg don't like. Some city leaders have pushed for the city to declare bankruptcy and keep the legislature out of its finances. The legislature last week passed a bill that makes it harder for third class cities to ignore Act 47. So, what did it mean when York's Mayor Kim Bracey stood along side Harrisburg's Mayor Linda Thompson last week during a news conference, when she opposed the states additional restrictions on the Act 47 process? City officials say they know what it didn't mean. York is not in the same boat as Harrisburg, Bracey and her Business Administrator Michael O'Rourke said this week. The two cities are in the midstate. They are both third class, but the similarities end there, O'Rourke said. "Their situation is compromised by the incinerator," he said. The most serious trouble with Harrisburg's incinerator began in 2003, when the city's Harrisburg Authority - with the backing of Harrisburg County leaders and bond insurers - invested in a failed retrofit for the facility that cost far more than the revenue created. With the authority unable to make the sizable payments necessary to pay off the failed plan, the debt has ballooned, and now the city and its taxpayers face several multi-million dollar payments each year.
My Comments: Of course, the 700 million taxpayer dollars sent to the Middle East by Barack Obama could have paid this debt and more, but I suppose his Muslim friends and their jihad mosques are much more important than anything we have going here, at least in his mind. Just on the side, did I forget to remind you that during the Texas wildfires earlier this year, they contacted washing for assistance with the fires, but looked to a deaf ear from this administration. However, when fires broke out in Mexico, Washington sent planes into Mexico to help douse their fires. I know, I mentioned it before, but I hope no one forgets. I know, I'm getting off the real subject here. The fact is that men, without the wisdom that only comes from God, generally make a mess of everything, and that's exactly why the nation is going down, down, down. Men are primarily wicked in this day we live in and they fail in their fudiciary duties all the time, because they have no wisdom. "The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, for it is written; He takes the 'wise' in their own craftiness" 1 Corinthians 3:19.

Riverside (CBS): Is the State of California about to go South? Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone apparently thinks so, after proposing that the county lead a campaign for as many as 13 Southern California counties to secede from the state. Stone said in a statement late Thursday that Riverside, Imperial, San Diego, Orange, San Bernardino, Kings, Kern, Fresno, Tulare, Inyo, Madera, Mariposa, and Mono Counties should form the new state of South California. The creation of a new state would allow officials to focus on securing borders, balancing budgets, improving schools and creating a vibrant economy, he said. "Our taxes are too high, our schools don't educate our children well enough, unions and other special interests have more clout in the legislature than the general public," Stone said in his statement. He unveiled his proposal on the day Gov. Jerry Brown signed budget legislation that will divert $14 million in 2011-12 vehicle license fee revenue from our new Riverside County cities. Officials fear the cut will cripple the new cities of Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Menifee, and Wildomar. Stone said he would present his proposal to the Board of Supervisors July 12. The new state would have no term limits, only a part-time legislature and limits on property taxes.
My Comments: I think this is a great idea; more independence away from "big(ger) government." Barack Obama is becoming so dictatorial in his thinking, I wouldn't put it past him to send the National Guard out here and declare Marshall Law, if these counties were to try such a thing. I still think it would be great if states began breaking away from federal government; in that event, it would be nice to think that the Feds might all just "disappear," and maybe go harass some other nation. This is only wishful thinking, because the Bible says it isn't going to happen (not in those words). The Word of God tells us there will be a last days world dictator, "The beast (Antichrist) was given a mouth to utter great words and blasphemies and power was given to him to continue forty-two months. And he opened his mouth to blaspheme God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle and those who dwell in heaven. And he made war with the saints, to overcome them, and power was given to him over all kindreds, tongues and nations" Revelation 13:5-7.

St Paul, Minn (AP): Minnesota's state government is closed for business. It shut down at 12:01 am CDT Friday, the victim of an ongoing dispute over taxes and spending between Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton and Republican legislative majorities. Talks fell apart well before deadline, leaving state parks closed on the brink of the Fourth of July weekend, putting road projects at a standstill and forcing thousands of state worker layoffs. Even before the final failure, officials padlocked highway rest areas and state parks, herding campers out. The full impact will hit Friday morning, as thousands of laid-off state employees stay home until further notice and a wide array of services are suspended. Critical functions such as state troopers, prison guards, the courts, and disaster responses will continue. On Friday morning, former Supreme Court Justice Kathleen Blatz will begin the court-appointed job of sifting through appeals from groups arguing in favor of continued government funding for particular programs. Dayton addressed the looming shutdown at about 10 pm Thursday, emerging after a day of fitful negotiations with legislative Republicans to say the two sides were still fundamentally divided over how much the state should spend the next two years and that the shutdown was inevitable. "This is a night of deep sorrow for me," Dayton said. Republican lawmakers had been gathered at the Capitol for hours, as they demanded that Dayton do what he had said for months he would not do: Call a special session so they could pass a "lights on" budget bill to keep government running. The governor insisted he would only agree to a total budget solution that incorporated the many facets of state spending. "I think the governor's insistence that we pass a full budget is not going to be of much comfort to Minnesotans who are going to see delays on the highways because construction projects stop," said Senate Majority Leader Amy Koch, R-Buffalo. "It's not going to comfort people who can't use our state parks, or who can't get a driver's license." Officials in state parks had already started herding out campers Thursday, saying it would have been too difficult in the dead of night. Also, Thursday, people rushed to get driver's and fishing licenses and offices and service centers that would be locked up by morning. A stoppage in Minnesota will halt non-emergency road construction, shut the state zoo and Capitol, and stop child care assistance for the poor. More than 40 state boards and agencies expect to go dark. The shutdown in retrospect was something of a slow-motion disaster, with a new Democratic governor and new Republican legislative majorities at odds for months over how to eliminate a $5 billion state budget deficit. Dayton has been determined to raise taxes on high earners to close the deficit, while Republicans insisted that it be closed only by cuts to state spending. "If we don't start taking a different approach to how we manage our government, we're going to swing from one bad economic circumstance to another," Benson said. "We can't just keep throwing more money at government and hoping that makes things better." Dayton has proposed raising taxes on couples earning more than $300,000 and individuals making more than $180,000. He said Thursday night that he had offered to target the tax increase to even higher earners, those making more than 1 million a year. Republicans have opposed any new taxes or new revenue sources, arguing instead that the state should rely on spending cuts, including deeper reductions in health and welfare spending than Dayton is willing to accept.
My Comments: I think this bickering over taxing the high income earners and cutting aid to the poor and healthcare is a bunch of baloney; yes, baloney. Certainly, mature, level-headed, wise and well-educated people can come to some concessions without shutting the entire state government down, except for emergency services; but not they can't. I believe the reason goes beyond just this states government. This country's administration isn't moved by such shut-downs. In fact, I believe it's all in the plan. A socialist New World Order cannot fall into place, unless chaos hits America first. I think this is "right on track" as far as the White House is concerned. Is anyone wise? I can't believe it takes a total shut-down in Minnesota for them to realize that they "can't afford parks and recreations!" Hello, is anyone home?? States have no business at all running parks and recreation when the country is bankrupt! In many metropolitan areas throughout the nation, you still see street sweepers running along the sidewalks to make very certain the roads look pristine. God forbid the roads should have a little paper or dirt now and then - we're bankrupt, for Pete's sake! I live on a dirt road and it's not killing me! The "hoity-toity" vanities of this generation is what is going to help bring this nation down. Big spending governments all the way down to people with their hands out at the welfare lines (when they have no business being there - and I'm not talking about the REAL needy either) are all going to be left scampering for food and water some day soon and they can only blame themselves and their high-minded and entitlement attitudes. Ultimately, sin is what is bring the total destruction. The Bible says, "Because of their wickedness, do not let them escape; in your anger, God, bring the nations down" Psalm 56:7.
