Cairo, Associated Press: On Friday, today, Al Qaeda confirmed the killing of Osama bin Laden and warned of retaliation, saying, "Americans' happiness will turn to sadness." The confirmation came in an internet statement posted on militant websites, signed by the general leadership of Al Qaeda. The announcement opens the way for the group to name a successor to Bin Laden. His deputy Ayman al-Zawahri is now the most prominent figure in the group and is a very likely contender to take his place. The statement dated May 3rd, was the first by the terror network since Bin Laden was killed Monday by US commandos in a raid on his hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The statement's authenticity could not be independently confirmed, but it was posted on websites where the group traditionally puts out its messages. "We stress that the blood of the holy warrior sheik, Osama bin Laden, God bless him, is precious to us and to all Muslims and will not go in vain," the statement said. "We will remain, God willing, a curse chasing the Americans and their agents, following them outside and inside their countries. Soon, God willing, their happiness will turn to sadness," it said. "Their blood will be mingled with their tears." In their statement, Al-Qaeda also called on the people of Pakistan - "where sheik Osama was killed" - to rise up in revolt against its leaders. It also said that an audio message Bin Laden recorded a week before his death would be issued soon.
My Comments: The Muslims awaited Mahdi is the one that Word of God refers to as the Antichrist of Revelation. The Muslims who know about the Antichrist of the Bible will readily admit that they too believe the Antichrist of the Bible is their Mahdi (Messiah). They see no reproach in this at all, since they believe that Jesus will return with their Mahdi, as a prophet of Allah and under the authority of Mahdi, to denounce the Bible and tell Christians and Jews that there is no God besides Allah. They believe that He, Jesus, will then give Christians and Jews an opportunity to accept Allah, and if they don't, He will kill the Christians and Jews in the name of Allah. Therefore, they too believe that their Mahdi is the Antichrist of the Bible, because their Mahdi is against the notion that Jesus is the Son of God, God in the flesh, absolutely! Although I did not derive my belief regarding these facts from his book, A former PLO terrorist, Wallid Shoebat, recently wrote a book, "God's War on Terror," which I highly recommend. Being a born again Christian, a converted Muslim who actually knows the Qu'ran and has inside knowledge of Islamic terrorist groups and their faith, has profound knowledge about end times prophecy from a Middle Eastern perspective, which is actually the only perspective to have. Let's know this, prophecy begins and ends in the Middle East! Read the book; you will never be the same and you will see the books of the prophets and Revelation clearly after you have read this book. You can also go to Wallid Shoebat's website through the Links page of this website.

Fox Nation: The Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-OK) filed a lawsuit late last year challenging the constitutionality of an anti-Islam ballot measure (State Question 755), which passed in the 2010 election. The measure amended the state constitution to forbid judges from considering Islamic law or international law when making a ruling. I have yet to learn the status of this lawsuit; I will keep you posted.
My Comments: I wonder if CAIR doesn't understand that they are living in America, not Afghanistan or Pakistan! We, here in America, have what is known as a United States Constitution and we live by our constitution, not Sharia law. Why? Because most of us living here in the US are not Muslims! Hello! If you are someone who wants to be governed by Sharia law, you need to go back to the Middle East. Thank you!

With much debate going on over the United Nations adopting resolutions against blasphemy/Defamation of religions, I decided to review the UN debates and status on the proposed resolutions. Some Muslim member states with the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) wanted protection against blasphemy and Islamophobes, although most consenting members only agreed to adopt resolutions protecting all religions. There is still a debate among members as to how such laws affect freedom of speech altogether.
On March 27, 2008, the United Nations Human Rights Council passed seven more resolutions regarding the defamation of religion, one of which states: "Reaffirms that general comment number 15 of the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, in which the committee stipulates that the prohibition of the dissemination of all ideas based upon racial superiority or hatred is compatible with the freedom of opinion and expression, is equally applicable to the question of incitement to religious hatred." In March 2011, the UN Human Rights Council has shifted from "protecting beliefs" to "protecting believers" in its resolution.
Well, with the above resolutions, as well as the preceding ones, which I didn't elaborate on, I just couldn't help myself one bit. Since Iran is one of the earliest members of the UN, and since Iran is very much connected with the OIC, which very much pushes for these blasphemy/defamation of religions resolutions in the UN, I couldn't help but send an email to the UN asking, "if these resolutions also mean the UN will not tolerate the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, threatening to kill all of the Jews and annihilate Israel off the face of the map." I received a response informing me that my message was received, as well as a "thank you for contacting the UN," but I did not receive a response to my question yet. I will keep you posted.

Associated Press: This is the saddest news story I have heard in a very long time: Riverside, CA: The Public Defender for a 10-year-old boy charged with murdering his neo-Zazi father in their California home says he might pursue an insanity defense for this child and he is seeking records from social workers who have monitored the boys family. Matt Hardy said he will also ask for a psychiatric evaluation before entering a plea for the boy after he was charged Wednesday with murder in the shooting death of Jeff Hall, a 32-year-old plumber who had carried a swastika flag and led rallies outside a local synagogue and day labor site. Riverside County prosecutors declined to provide additional details surrounding the early Sunday shooting until the boy enters a plea, but said the case is highly unusual because of the boy's age. "To say it's unheard of is not hyberbole in this case," said Ambrosio E. Rodriguez, Senior Deputy District Attorney. "This is extremely rare. It is almost unheard of - until today." The small blonde haired boy appeared in Juvenile Court in an orange detention shirt, khaki pants and handcuffs. A judge ordered that he remain in Juvenile Hall until a May 18 detention hearing. After the hearing, the child requested a visit with his step-mother and grandmother. Hardy said he anticipates a "long haul" in the case and that he is waiting to examine files from county social workers who have monitored the boy's family following allegations of abuse and neglect. Child protective services records show investigators were called to the home four times in 2003 and four times during prior years. "We have to look at the things that are mental elements," Hardy told the Associated Press late Wednesday. "Whether he pulled the trigger or not is not the end of the inquiry." The boy, whose name is not being released because he is a minor, is accused of shooting his father with a handgun in the family home. Hall was found on the couch and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, said police Lt. Ed Blevins. Authorities believe the shooting was intentional, but declined to comment on a motive, except to say they do not believe Hall's neo-Nazi affiliation played a role. The shooting was reported to police at about 4 a.m. Sunday, Blevins said. Relatives of the boy who attended the hearing declined comment on the case. His mother, Leticia Neal, said she is looking into hiring a private attorney, but only learned of the shooting on Monday. Hall's four other children have been taken into protective custody. Hall was southwest regional leader of the National Socialist Movement, an organization that advocates white supremacy. He led rallies against illegal immigration and outside a local synagogue, stoking outcry from a host of community groups and residents concerned about the rise in hate groups in the vast suburbs southeast of Los Angeles. Hall, who advocated for a breakaway white nation, also lost a bid last year for a seat on the Western Municipal Water District Board in Riverside. The Antidefamation League considers Hall's organization to be the country's largest neo-Nazi group.
My Comments: This tragedy tugs at my heart deeply and reminds me of what we are told in the Word of God: Jesus said in Matthew 26:52, "...all those who use the sword shall perish by the sword." There is no doubt this child's father had issues with hate, anger and violence. He was a white supremest, and no doubt "lived by the guns" he owned and which was obviously somehow accessible to this child in the home. Unless God intervenes for this little boy, he will suffer for the manner in which he was raised. We need to pray that God will send messengers to this child, who will minister the truth to him and nurture him in the admonition of the Lord, before Satan continues his plan to completely destroy not only the father, who lived by hate and violence, but this child also, who is very much a victim of who his father was and how he was raised. Please remember to pray for this boy. We don't know his name, but the Lord knows who he is as we pray "for the child who shot his neo-Nazi father." God have mercy on us all. You would never have heard of such crimes 50 years ago, but we are living in the very last days.

Today being National Day of Prayer, we certainly have a lot of things to pray about. God listens to the cries of His people, "He will call upon me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him" Psalm 91:15. "Until this time, you have asked nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, that your joy may be full" John 16:24.
This is a time of selective judgment. We are living in the last generation, according to the scriptures, before the coming of the Lord. The Lord is trying the nations, allowing them opportunity to call on His name, before it's too late. We need to pray for the people of world that are being tried and who are undergoing great troubles, even tribulation, that they might call on the name of the Lord and be saved. We also need to pray that the Lord will send laborers, who are able to go out into the mission fields, while there is time to reach them. Jesus said, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; pray, therefore, to the Lord of the harvest that He would send forth laborers into His harvest" Luke 10:2

Associated Press - Update:
Kentucky: Authorities closed 250 roads in 50 counties, rescued 28 people, 12 cats and three dogs from rising waters.
Missouri: The Army Corps blew a third hole in a levee to relieve pressure and prevent catastrophic flooding there, in Illinois and Kentucky. The water was expected to crest Sunday in Caruthersville at 49.5 feet, just a half-foot below the top of the floodwall protecting the community of 6,700.
Louisiana: National Guardsmen used sandbags to fortify levees in the northeast part of the state and the state penitentiary stood ready to evacuate prisoners. Officials were planning to open a spillway in the southern part of the state to divert river water.
Arkansas: Truckers tried to rearrange their routes to a 23-mile stretch of Interstate 40, a major link between the east and west coasts, where the rising White River forced the closing of the westbound lanes. Drivers were forced to take a 120-mile detour toward Little Rock.

Associated Press, Hickman, KY: People along the lower Mississippi River and its tributaries packed their belongings and emergency workers feverishly filled sandbags as high water pushed its way downstream today, Wednesday, in a slow motion disaster which could break flood records dating back to the 1920s. From Illinois to Mississippi, thousands of people have already been forced from their homes and anxiety is rising along with the mighty river, even though it could be a week or two before some of the most severe flooding hits. I've never seen it this bad, said 78-year-old Joe Harrison, who has lived in the same house in Hickman since he was 11 months old. Floodwaters from the Mississippi turned his house into an island - dry - but surrounded by water. He has been using a boat to get to his car, parked on dry ground along a highway that runs by his house. Up and down the Big Muddy, farmers braced for a repeat of the desperate strategy employed earlier this week in Missouri, where army engineers blew up a levee and sacrificed vast stretches of farmland to protect populated areas upstream. Forecasters and emergency officials said some of the high water records set during the great floods of 1927 and 1937 could fall. Today, the Mississippi eclipsed the 46 foot mark set in 1937 in Cauruthersville, MO, and the water was still rising, with a crest of 49.5 feet for Sunday. President Barack Obama declared disasters in parts of Tennessee, Mississippi and Kentucky, making them eligible for federal help with relief efforts. It does not cover individual assistance.

Prince William & Kate Middleton married only four days ago; and just how often does the world witness a royal wedding? "As in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark; and they knew not until the flood came and took them all away, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be" Matthew 24:38, 39. The scriptures here in verses 38 and 39 of Matthew 24 may be alluding to more than just anyone getting married before the coming of the Lord. Of course, God knew 2,000 years ago when Prince William would marry, that diplomats from all over the world would be invited, and that the entire world would view the wedding by satellite.
It has only been in recent years that Trinity Broadcasting Network began advertising on their program that "This message is being broadcast around the world!" First, TBN advertised the message was going to (this many) nations, then (that many) nations, but in just the last few years they advertise the message is being taken around the world by satellite! "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, then shall the end come" Matthew 24:14. "Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, until all these things are fulfilled" Matthew 24:34. I could go on and on and expound on each verse in Matthew 24, but it should be obvious to everyone who is familiar with the Word of God that the coming of Christ is even at the door!
Matthew 13:41, 42 says, "The Son of Man shall send forth His angels and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend and them which do iniquity and shall cast them into a furnace of fire; there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
Matthew 25:34 says, "Then shall the King say to them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."
Which group will you be in, among those cast into the furnace of fire, or those to whom Jesus says, Come, ye blessed of My Father?

5/3/11, Israel Today: International media outlets suggest that Osama bin Laden's star has been waning across the Muslim world in recent years, but there is one place that is not true - amongst the Palestinian Arabs, where the Al Qaeda still enjoyed relatively high approval ratings. A recent poll by the Pew Research Center found that 38% of Palestinian Muslims supported Bin Laden. Some Jerusalem Arabs demonstrated that support on Monday when they gathered to mourn Bin Laden's assassination by American forces. Dozens of Arabs from the Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan gathered for an evening vigil punctuated with rock attacks on Israeli police officers stationed nearby. The Arab neighborhoods of Jerusalem were the scene of mass Arab celebrations following the successful Al Qaeda attacks on America on September 11, 2001. In Gaza, Hamas sharply condemned the killing of Osama bin Laden. Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh referred to Bin Laden as a "modest man and a Muslim warrior." Israeli Arab lawmaker Ibrahim Sarsour US President Barack Obama of assassinating Bin Laden so that he can win next year's presidential election.
My Comments: Ibrahim Sarsour can see the obvious!

Huffington Post: According to several news sources, Osama Bin Laden is dead and has been shot down by US forces. President Obama is scheduled to announce the news late this evening at 10:30 pm EST. The US is in possession of his body, a person familiar with the situation told the Associated Press late today, Sunday. It is currently unclear where or how Bin Laden was killed, or how the US captured his body. Officials have long believed Bin Laden, the most wanted man in the world, was hiding in a mountainous region along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
My Comments: I wonder how President Obama will make his announcement this evening, in light of the fact that many Muslims believed Bin Laden to be their Mahdi (Messiah), awaiting the right time to come forth and announce his reign in the Islamic world. Forget altogether Pastor Terry Jones's Qu'ran burning! That was nothing, absolutely nothing compared to the spark this is going to ignite in the Muslim community against the US! Of course, as much as President Obama loves the Muslims, this is a very good time for him to gain some critical points from conservative Americans. I wonder if the mainstream news media and the top military brass in Afghanistan will now ridicule President Obama for shooting and burning one who Muslims consider to be a "holy man." I'm curious to know if Americans will consider this act to have put our "troops at risk." Let there be no misunderstanding, I am elated that this terrorist is now dead. I am just pointing out that there is no difference between killing the radical terrorist man and burning the radical terrorist man's book, which promotes his radical terrorism. Our administration has known the location of Osama Bin Laden in the past and, quite frankly, I do not believe that we ever lost track of him for reasons I won't go into, which are detailed and lengthy in nature. Our former administration passed on taking Bin Laden out previously because he was said to have been with another "high profile" person at the time. Just how valuable is the life of a person who "hangs out" with Osama Bin Laden anyway?
Apparently, the lives of three individuals with Osama Bin Laden when he was killed were not as important as the other person thought to be too important to kill the last time the US troops could have taken out Bin Laden. I believe this was a strategic move by the current administration at a pivotal moment in time to boost President Obama's bid for another term in the White House. Donald Trump, with his possible decision to run for president, and Sarah Palin are both formidable opponents to Obama. Most importantly, I think Barack Obama is very tired of trying to prove to an unconvinced American public that he is not a Muslim, so Osama Bin Laden was Barack Obama's convenient "pansy." Tonight's announcement was very good news, which was somewhat lost in all of the "pat me on the back" rhetoric by Barack Obama during his speech later this evening. He has especially been criticized for not doing enough to quell terrorism during the last three years. What a convenient break he had in Osama Bin Laden at this critical time!
