4/27/11, Associated Press and BNO News: An Afghan military officer opened fire at an air force base in the Afghan capital on late Wednesday morning, officials said, killing at least nine people and injuring others. The shooting spree began around 10:25 am local time at an air force base at North Kabul International Airport, apparently after some sort of argument between the gunman and others at the base. A statement from the NATO training mission confirmed eight coalition service members and one contractor were killed in the shooting, but gave no of other nationalities. It is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities, it said. Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said the group was behind the attack. Mujahid said the gunman, who was identified by some as a 50-year-old man, was killed during his shooting spree when he ran out of ammunition. "While upon using up his ammo, the brave Mujahid (Muslim fighter) laid down his life when he was shot and martyred in the enemy's subsequent fire." Coalition casualties have been rising sharply in Afghanistan in recent years, with a total coalition death toll of 709 in 2010, making it the deadliest year for international troops since the war began in response to the 9/11/2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.

4/26/11, Israel Today: The results of a public opinion poll conducted in Egypt following the fall of dictator Hosni Mubarak show that the majority of Egyptians want to annul their nation's peace treaty with neighboring Israel. Conducted by the Pew Research Center, the survey revealed that 54% of Egyptians don't want peace with Israel and will support a candidate who advocates annulling the Camp David Accords. That percentage was the same among both secular Egyptians and those affiliated with Islamic organizations. The poll also found that Egyptians don't think too highly of America or US President Barack Obama. Eighty percent of respondents said they have an unfavorable view of the US in general and 60% said they don't trust Obama. Only 22% of Egyptians said America has made a positive impact on recent political changes in their country. The survey further showed that the Obama White House has been wrong about the direction in which Egypt is heading. Obama and his staff previously insisted that the participation of Islamic radicals like the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt's revolution was a fringe phenomenon that would have no bearing on the nation's future. The Pew poll shows that today the Muslim Brotherhood enjoys 75% approval rating among all Egyptians, giving the group a very good chance of claiming control of the parliament in upcoming elections.
My Comments: The above article represents the truth of Bible prophecy and that we are living in the last days, for the Bible tells us in Zechariah 14:2-9, "All nations shall gather against Jerusalem to battle...then shall the Lord go forth and fight against those nations...and the Lord shall be king over all the earth."

4/24/11, EU Times: A local judge jailed Pastor Terry Jones of Gainesville, FL, and his associate, Wayne Sapp, after a court found their planned protest outside the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, Michigan, could lead to violence. During his court appearance, Terry Jones argued that the Qu'ran promotes terrorist activities around the world. He also insisted that his right to protest against Islam is protected by the First Amendment to the US Constitution. "The First Amendment does us no good if it confines us to saying what is popular," Terry Jones pointed out. Pastor Jones and Mr. Sapp made national headlines after their ceremonial "Trial and Execution" of the Qu'ran by burning lead to deadly protests in Afghanistan. Last month's Qu'ran burning unleashed violent protests by Muslims, during which time 7 UN members were killed, one beheaded, and more than 20 people were killed in all. "Islam is not a religion of peace" said Jones in an earlier statement. "The time has come to hold Islam accountable." Dearborn is home to the largest Islamic community in the United States. During the 2000 census, Arab Americans comprised 30% of Dearborn's population.
My Comments: I have to give this man credit for his faith and boldness! If Christians made even half the protest against kicking God and prayer out of our schools, this nation would be in a lot better shape today. These Muslims cut peoples' heads off who disagree with them and they are taking precedence in US courts now - go figure. Jesus literally cast the moneychangers out of the temple and turned over their tables with Godly indignation (Matthew 21:12); how much then should we defend the faith? I would say, "A lot more than we have in the past." If we are firm about respecting the house of God and upholding God's commandments and righteousness, people may be offended, but if they ever truly get saved, they will respect our stand for the faith and truth. On the other hand, better to offend man than God Himself!

4/22/11, Fox News: Heavy rain causes mudslides in a southern island of the Philippines. Twenty-seven are known dead and dozens are still missing. There are shanties along the mountainous area where mudslides are known to be common during the rainy seasons. The mudslides destroyed many shanties in this area and the death toll is unknown at this time.
My Comments: Many would say, "How could a loving God allow such disasters, as those described above, as well as many prominent catastrophes in recent months. God gave man a free will; He did not create robots. He sent His Son to come and die for the sins of the world, yet many people throughout the nations have rejected their Savior. The Bible tells us that Jesus will come again and when that happens, it will be too late for those who have rejected Him. People have been known to cry out to God, and receive Jesus as their Savior during times of great trouble. The Word of God tells us that tribulation in the way of earthquakes, pestilence, and hunger will afflict men in the last days, before the coming of Christ. If these disasters are what it takes to bring people to repentance and faith in their Savior, it is better to suffer now and receive our Lord, than to die and end up in hell for eternity. "The devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and forever" Revelation 20:10. "The fearful and unbelieving, the abominable and murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death" Revelation 21:8.

4/21/11, Huffington Post: Washington - A provision in the new 9/11 Health Bill is adding insult to injury for people who fell ill after their service in the aftermath of the 2001 Muslim terrorist attacks, the Huffington Post has learned. Tens of thousands of cops, firefighters, construction workers and others who survived the worst terrorist assault in US history and risked their lives in the wake of the tragedy, will soon be informed that their names must be run through the FBI's Terrorism Watch List, according to a letter obtained by HuffPost. Any of the responders who are not compared to the database of suspected terrorists would be barred from getting treatment for the numerous, worsening ailments that the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Law was passed to address.
My Comments: "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who say darkness is light, bitter is sweet, and sweet is bitter" Isaiah 5:20. Getting the bill passed by this administration was like trying to pull two fused jars of Gorilla Glue apart. Have you noticed that throughout history when the Muslims conquer a country or destroy anything, they rape the women of the countries they destroy and deliberately build mosques on the grounds they have conquered? It is their way of showing the world their "prowess." While these childish and violent Muslims try to demonstrate their conquering abilities by throwing terrorist-tantrums all over the nations, the true heroes are being victimized all over again by this administration. Instead of raping women at ground zero, their focus is to try to demoralize all of the victims of 9/11 in any way they can.
I think this is an appropriate time to remind everyone in America where 700 million of your tax dollars went during Barack Obama's presidency - to refurbish mosques in the Middle East (see News Videos page for more information). Yes, let me summarize that: Muslim terrorists kill 3,000+ US citizens; Obama sends 700 million of our tax dollars to Middle East to refurbish mosques; victims of 9/11 must be scrutinized by the FBI as possible terrorists in order to get medical treatment it took ten years to get! By the way, Barack Obama is running for president during the next election, don't you just feel like voting for him again??

4/21/11, The European Union Times: Some scientists manning lonely outposts under the drifting and shifting aurora are nearly paralyzed with fear. Russian researchers posted near the giant South Pole sub-glacial Lake Vosotok have reported eerie anomalies and incidents over the past few years that sometimes seem to border on the frayed edge of madness. As one bizarre event followed another, a research team of US and UK scientists accidentally came across a mind-numbing discovery. While working on a joint weather research project, the team witnessed the creation of a spinning vortex of time. US physicist Mariann McLein said that she and her colleagues became aware of a "spinning gray fog" in the sky over their heads. They initially dismissed the phenomenon as merely part of a random solar storm. The spinning vortex, however, did not disperse. Stranger still, despite gusts of wind and briskly moving clouds overhead, the weird spinning gray fog remained stationary. Deciding to explore the odd phenomenon, the group took one of its weather balloons and attached a meteorological instrument to it that calibrated temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, wind speed, and a scientific chronometer to record the times of the readings. After attaching a cable to the balloon and securing the other end to a winch, they released it. The balloon and instrument package soared upwards and were immediately sucked into the gaping maw of the spinning vortex. The balloon and instruments disappeared. After several minutes, they decided to retrieve the balloon. Despite some difficulty with the winch, they succeeded in bringing the balloon back to earth and they checked the instruments. McLein stated that everyone was stunned by the readout on the chronometer. It displayed a date decades in the past, January 27, 1965. McLein said the experiment was repeated several times with the same results. Later, she said the entire episode was reported to military intelligence and passed on to the White House. Presumably the strange vortex phenomenon - a highly magnetic tunnel to the past was code named The Time Gate by military intelligence.

4/21/11, Fox News: During a Fox News interview, Congressman Allen West, Florida (R), likened President Obama to a "third world dictator" and a "low-level socialist agitator" during his budget speech last week. He went on to say that President Obama does not have the experience needed to fulfill his responsibilities as president, specifically with regard to the budget.
My Comments: I have to agree, wholeheartedly. As Donald Trump also recently said, President Obama does not have the experience needed to lead this country, especially with regard to the economy. Of course, many of us already know that President Obama is not about doing a great job for the American people; he is about doing a great job for the elitists whose agenda is to bankrupt America, hone the population and bring about a socialist "New World Order." President Obama has been bought and paid for that purpose.

4/21/11, ABC World News: Today I read of five deaths and two attempted murders committed by teens in different states throughout the nation, all on ABC World News today!
My Comments: Teen violence is rampant throughout the nation, and possibly the world. Kids pierce themselves, tattoo themselves and many are even killing themselves in the day and hour in which we live. Many kids who are raised by Godless people, without Bible training and are not taught about how much God loves them and how they, in turn, should love one another, seem to have no conscience and appear to be lost in society. The two 14-year-old girls who hanged themselves together at one of the girls homes, left suicide notes detailing how they were bullied at school by other kids and they were so despondent they didn't want to live. In a separate incident, another boy in Minnesota hanged himself in the garage after being bullied by vicious children at school. These kids attended public schools, where children are still being taught that we evolved from apes. Hmmm, I suppose that might explain why some of them are acting like animals! I could go on and on about how the public schools have kicked God and prayer out of schools, and they are now teaching acceptance of homosexual lifestyles to elementary school children, etc, etc, but I will forgo all of that and just say this: If you have your children enrolled in public schools today, this is another very good reason why you need to pray and focus on getting your children out of there, quick! For those of you who think you can't because home education or private school is just not possible, I have one other thing to say: God is still in the miracle working business! 4/19/11, SilentCountry.com: The Obama Administration has issued a gag order on data collected regarding the growing numbers of dead dolphins washing up on the shores of Mississippi and Alabama, including still births. The administration issued a statement to the effect that the gag order is to protect the criminal investigation. First, experts have said the leak could have been prevented by BP before it happened. Once it happened, experts have told Jesse Ventura's investigators that the leak could have been stopped almost immediately, but it was allowed to run, dropping roughly 4 million gallons per day; multiply that by 91 days (see Jesse's video about the oil spill conspiracy on the News Videos page). There was an obvious conspiracy to let the oil roll, according to reliable sources. Three days after the explosion, the Dutch offered to assist the US by sending ships equipped with oil-skimming booms. They also provided a plan for creating sand barriers to protect the sensitive marshlands of the Gulf Coast. According to Geert Visser, General for the Netherlands in Houston, "The embassy got a nice letter from the administration that said basically, "thanks, but no thanks." Does that perplex you? It shouldn't. Barack Obama is a socialist and the only way he can bring about a New World Order is to bankrupt America and destroy her as fast as he can, which would cause our dependence and reliance on a "socialist bailout." Have you heard socialist diplomats on the news since Obama's presidency stating, "Let's not waste a good crisis?" This is a famous term among socialists. In fact, Hitler used national crises to rise to power in Germany. The tactic is used time and time again, at great expense to citizens, but it is the means to the end, so they don't care. The idea is to create such national crises that all citizens become dependent on the government and the government ends up owning everything there is to be owned. 4/18/11, ABC News: Thousands more dead fish have washed up in Ventura Harbor. This is the second large fish die off Southern California this year. This time, thousands of dead fish are floating in Ventura Harbor, according to Pat Hummer, Senior Patrol Officer at the harbor. The majority of them are sardines and anchovies, but perch were also spotted.
