Gilbert Olivares was arrested and held in lieu of $1 million bail, this being his second arrest this week for 19 charges filed against him, ranging from possession of child pornography to performing a lewd act upon a child, the Salinas Californian reported.

Olivares was first arrested last week Salinas High School, where Olivares has worked for the last five years under an independent contract to provide drug and alcohol counseling to students.  His initial arrest was based on 11 separate charges.  Olivares was charged with allowing students to engage in sexual encounters in his office while he secretly taped them.  Authorities found 14 such videos, reported the HuffingtonPost.com.

Here we go again.  This type of crime appears to be a weekly occurrence throughout the nation.  The Bible says, "Know this, that in the last days perilous times shall come" 2 Timothy 3:1.  Jesus said, "Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will wax cold" Matthew 24:12.  Wickedness abounds all around us and we are truly living in the last days.  It is not a good time to send your children to a Godless school system for their education.  Actually, no time is a good time to do that, but especially not now.  If you are interested in alternatives, please visit the Home Education page of this website.  God bless you.
