CALIFORNIA FIRES – DEADLIEST IN STATE HISTORY

Thousands more were evacuated from their homes in Santa Rosa on Saturday, as 16 major wildfires run amuck in California.

Nearly 214,000 acres (86,000 hectares), an area larger than New York City, has already burned over the last week.
