The death toll resulting from the Hajj stampede in Saudi Arabia three days ago has risen to 769, according to the latest count, and 934 were injured.

According to officials, about 2 million were completing the Hajj pilgrimage in Mina, as two massive groups arrived at crossroads (in triple digit heat) and they began pushing one another to pass.
