ALEXANDRIA SCHOOL CLOSED – 230 SICK

Nearly 200 students and 30 staff members became ill with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea at John Adams Elementary School, over a period of two days. The school was closed on Friday, March 14, 2014, after about 200 students and 30 staff called out sick.

The Alexandria (VA) Health Department states the most likely cause is norovirus.
