Hanoi: Vietnam has suspended using Quinvaxem vaccine until the World Health Organization (WHO) gives a report, after the deaths of nine children who received the vaccine since November 2012, reported state media.

These deaths, along with many illnesses and disease caused by vaccines, is just the very tip of the iceberg.

Quinvaxem is a preventative vaccine against diptheria, tetanus, pertussis or whopping cough, hepatitis B and H and influenza type B.

Quinvaxem is manufactured by the Berna Biotech Korea Corporation and is sponsored by the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization.

“In 2011 there were an extra 47,500 new cases of NPAFP [non-polio acute flaccid paralysis]. Clinically indistinguishable from polio paralysis but twice as deadly, the incidence of NPAFP was directly proportional to doses of oral polio received. Through this data was collected within the polio surveillance system, it was not investigated” (emphasis added).
