The Virginia House of Delegates approved legislation Tuesday that would define life as beginning at conception.  Lawmakers passed the most controversial bill so far this session.  Delegate Robert G. Marshall's "personhood" measure was approved on a 66-32 vote.

Opponents say the bill moves a step closer to outlawing abortion outright, should the landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision be overturned, and that it would make some forms of birth control illegal.  Delegate Vivian E. Watts, Fairfax Democrat, proposed an amendment Monday to ensure that contraception would remain legal, but it was rejected.  The bill will now go to the Senate, where it will likely be sent to the Education and Health Committee, reported WashingtonTimes.com.  That committee killed the same bill last year, when Democrats outweighed Republicans 10-5.  Republicans now have 7-8 leverage.

Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell, a Republican and Catholic, said Tuesday that he believes life begins at conception.

The Bible says, "Before I (God) formed you in the belly, I knew you, and before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you and I ordained you a prophet unto the nations" Jeremiah 1:5.  The prophet Isaiah said, "Listen, oh isles, unto me, and hearken you people from far; the Lord called me from the womb, from the bowels of my mother, He made mention of my name" Isaiah 49:1.  According to the holy Word of God, God knew us before we were conceived, and according to the passage in Jeremiah, He had a purpose for us before we were conceived.  It is obvious here that the sin of abortion is to murder God's creation, which He foreordained for His divine purpose

As much as Obama and the liberals want to push every evil possible on the American people, there are still those who have a conscience about human life and may still have some fear of God left in them.  Apparently, the fact that Obama is shoving his way further to carve out a "Socialist America" in the US, the more he pushes, the more our conservative legislators are retaliating - thank God!  This is exactly what the Lord has called us to do; stand up for what is right and what is holy, against all evil, until the Lord returns.
