Most of these erupting volcanoes are located on islands. The Word of God tells us,

"The heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together and every mountain and island were moved out of their places" Revelation 6:14.

The above passage of scripture is referring to the tribulation that is soon coming upon the earth, according to Bible prophecy. It could happen that many of the active volcanoes and those erupting right now will blow and shake every mountain and island on earth.

God is God and He can certainly move the mountains and islands by any method He chooses, by the sound of His voice perhaps. I found it interesting that there are so many active volcanoes on islands and mountains throughout the world, which correlates with this prophecy that every mountain and island will be moved.
