YOUR ETERNAL SOUL

Have you thought about the eternal heavens and fathomed where the end of heaven might be, or how it is possible there is no end to the universe? The Word of God tells us that the heavens are vast, “as far as the east is from the west.”

Eternity is another intriguing fact to ponder. We, who often face death, find it difficult to comprehend immortality, but immortality exists just the same. The message of eternal life is all around us, through the things God made, but we often do not see spiritually, as we should.

Jesus said,

“Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone; but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit. He who loves his life shall lose it, and he who hates his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal” John 12:24-25.

In other words, we are not to focus on the elements of this life, or how we might enjoy this life, but our focus needs to be on fulfilling the will of God in this life, then we will gain life eternal.

We possess an eternal soul within this temporary external body. If we render ourselves to the Lord and His purpose, we will gain eternal life, but if we seek to preserve ourselves, our pleasures and give heed to fleshly desires, we will lose our eternal soul to hell (Revelation 20:13-14).

Accounts have been given and books have been written of the testimonials of those who have suffered near death experiences (NDE) and have given accurate accounts of events that occurred after they were pronounced “dead.”

Dr. Maurice Rawlings, now a retired cardiologist, wrote a book, Beyond Death’s Door, about patients he revived from cardiac arrest, and others who gave him accounts of their NDE experiences.

Dr. Rawlings was an atheist, until he revived a cardiac patient numerous times in his clinic one day. The patient was undergoing a treadmill test, but dropped to the floor with sudden heart failure. Dr. Rawlings revived the man numerous times, and each time he was revived, he begged Dr. Rawlings not to let him go back to hell! This experience changed Dr. Rawling's life. He later repented, accepted Jesus as his Savior and is now a witness for Jesus Christ.

Dr. Rawling's book gives an account of his conversion and the numerous testimonies of patients who went to heaven, or hell, before being resuscitated. Dr. Rawlings also has a video on YouTube.com including some of these same testimonials. His book can be purchased on Amazon, or at other major bookstores.

The world is round, of course, but until those in power discovered truth for themselves, they believed the world was flat. The powerful Catholic church burned Giordano Bruno alive at the stake for declaring the world was round and for declaring there were other worlds in the universe.

The heretic church had the power, they disagreed with Bruno, so they viciously burned him to death.

If these devils who profess to know the Word of God, actually had spiritual eyes to see and understand it, they would have discovered that Isaiah the prophet declared the earth was round thousands of years ago:

“It is He who sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers, that stretches out the heavens as a curtain and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in” Isaiah 40:22.

The Greeks believed their ancient god Atlas held up the earth, while the ignorant and unlearned Catholics were burning pitiful men at the stake for disagreeing with their heresies. Unbelievers, agnostics and atheists today are also developing a vehement hatred for those who believe in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Savior, according to the Holy Word of God.

The wealthy, “learned” and powerful enemies of the cross today, would quickly do away with God’s people, if they could. The Spirit of God is holding them at bay, until the elect are caught up (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).

Men haven’t changed. The same liberals (now called Progressives) responsible for kicking God and prayer out of public schools, and bringing in evolution ape charts to the classrooms of America, demonstrating how an ape evolved into a man, are the very same ones who persecute God’s people today and seek to remove any semblance of God, or Jesus, the Son of God, from society.

If you desire to know truth, real truth, study the Word of God, while praying for divine understanding. The vital facts you need for your eternal soul and spiritual well-being are in the Word of God. There is nothing like it. It not only contains facts and information provided by God our Creator, but it contains mysteries and secrets that have not been revealed to the world, but can and will be revealed to those who seek God with all of their hearts.

"And you shall seek Me and find Me, when you shall search for Me with all your heart" Jeremiah 29:13.

The Word of God is our road map to salvation and eternal life. Without it, the world is lost and will be cast into hell fire (Luke 12:5; Revelation 20:14).
