Plans to Rebuild the Third Temple

The Bible says, "The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first, then we which are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will forever be with the Lord" 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.  All prophecies leading up to the "catching up of the saints," or rapture if you will (as translated in the Greek), have been fulfilled already and we know that Jesus could return for His people at any time.  There are some other major prophecies that will be fulfilled during the last days, but not necessarily before God's people are caught up to meet Jesus in the clouds.  The scriptures tell us that before the wrath of God is poured out upon all the earth, God's people will be gone, "Wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come" 1 Thessalonians 1:10.  We know that in the last days, the Temple of God will be rebuilt in Jerusalem sometime before Jesus returns, in that the third temple (the first two were destroyed) is mentioned in Daniel 11:31, Matthew 24:15 and various other passages throughout the Bible, with reference to the last days.  The rebuilding of the temple is an indicator that we are living in the last days, as foretold in Daniel 10:14 through Daniel 11:31.  It is not widely known or publicized that a devout Muslim by the name of Adnan Oktar (also known as Harun Yahya) met with members of the Jewish Sanhedrin in 2009.  In a "spirit of peace and goodwill," Mr. Oktar has offered to rebuild the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount.  Mr. Oktar is a renowned writer and publisher of Muslim books in Turkey and he is said to be extremely wealthy.  He said he could have the Temple built within one year, according to the specifications laid out by the Sanhedrin.  His offer is to actually rebuild a temple for Jews, Muslims and Christians to promote peace in the Middle East, and allow everyone to worship there.  The members of the Jewish Sanhedrin, who met with Mr. Oktar, are very much in agreement with him, so much so that they have posted a notice on the Sanhedrin website stating their affirmation and agreement with Adnan Oktar (TheSanhedrin.org).  The article is a bit difficult to find on the website, being buried within several links, although this URL will take you directly to it:  http://www.thesanhedrin.org/en/images/4/41/Hachrazah 5769 Tamuz 9.pdf  Take special note of the introduction on page 1, then the article entitled "Plan of Peace" on page 5.  It is interesting also that the Sanhedrin and Oktar believe the Temple will be a way to bring peace, not only in the Middle East region, but throughout the world.  Of course, the Knesset (Jewish lawmakers in Israel) would have to approve it.  According to the Bible, their plan to rebuild the Tempe and bring "peace" to the region will be successful.  Several passages in the Bible, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, Revelation 11:1, reference a functioning Temple during the time of the end, and it will be the place where the Antichrist eventually sets himself up to be worshiped as God, but not before he "confirms" a pseudo-peace treaty (1 Thessalonians 5:3) with Israel.  It appears that Adnan Oktar and the Jewish Sanhedrin are on their way to fulfilling Bible prophecy before our eyes, and this should send enormous excitement and spiritual preparedness throughout the Christian community today!  The Sanhedrin announced in their article, Plan for Peace:

Out of a sense of collective responsibility for world peace and for all humanity, we have found it timely to call the world and exclaim that there is a way out for all peoples.  It is etched in a call to all humanity: We are all the sons of one father, the descendents of Adam, and all humanity is but a single family.  Peace among nations will be achieved through building the House of G-d, where all peoples will serve, as foreseen by King Solomon in his prayers at the dedication of the First Holy Temple.  Come let us love and respect one another, and love and honor and hold our heavenly Father in awe.  Let us establish a House of Prayer in His name in order to worship and serve Him together, for the sake of His great compassion.  He surely does not want the blood of His creations spilled, but prefers love and peace among all mankind.  We pray to the Almighty Creator that you hearken to our call.  Together - each according to his or her ability - we shall work towards the building of the House of Prayer for all nations on the Temple Mount in peace and mutual understanding.

Adnan Oktar's statement during his meeting with the Sanhedrin, "If we act in the knowledge that we are all brothers, then there will be no need for those walls in Israel," is actually held within a prophetic passage in Ezekiel 38:11, "I will go up to the land of unwalled villages," as stated by Israel's enemies before their attack on Israel.

Go Into All the World

This directive to God's people, "...Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16:15, may seem difficult, since there are so many people today who are opposed to Christianity and the message of Jesus Christ.  It is hard for me, especially since my only child, Levi, passed on to be with the Lord about two years ago.  I have an aversion to going anywhere now; instead, I like to stay home and pray, study God's Word and work on the Prophetic Newsletter website.  The Lord is coming soon and Christians have a duty to zealously spread this gospel.  I only go into town twice a month though, once for groceries and once to the feed store for the horse.  I pray every morning, "Lord, let me be a soul winner."  I more recently included, "Lord, bring souls into my path that have a hunger for You."  Now this may sound ridiculous, since I only see people about twice a month, but we can never underestimate God's desire to answer such prayers.  I stock my purse with gospel pamphlets when I leave the house.  This month, believe it or not, I have been able to witness to 14 souls!  I stopped at a recycling center, which I didn't want to do, but the Lord impressed me to stop there and He assured me there would be someone there I should witness to.  I handed out five pamphlets at the recycling center and they gladly received them, some thanked me.  I witnessed to a man at the feed store and he smiled when I gave him a pamphlet.  He said, " I will read this."  When I went grocery shopping, I left with only one Spanish pamphlet.  I felt I should take more, but I didn't want to go back into the house and make copies, so I thought, "next time."  When I arrived at the mini-mall, I noticed a store that sold copies and I felt I should make a few copies, so I did.  After I left there, I was able to witness to a Spanish-speaking clerk in a discount store and I gave her a Spanish pamphlet.  Then, I went into the grocery store and gave one of the Spanish-speaking cashiers a pamphlet, knowing exactly why the Lord urged me to make additional copies.  I went into Kmart for a few items and while I was standing in the checkout line, a very kind elderly lady started a brief conversation with me, so I took the opportunity to witness to her.  She gladly received a pamphlet and she was so touched by it, she hugged me, while people were waiting in line behind us, and she said, "I can't live without the Lord."  She began to tell me her husband was very sick, so I told her I would pray for him and I took their names.  Since the cashier heard my testimony, I gave her a pamphlet and blessed her, and she gladly received it from me.  I went back to the grocery store, because I needed a few more items and met another lady in the checkout line.  She spoke to me first, so I took the opportunity to witness to her and I gave her a pamphlet too and blessed her, which she received kindly.  This doesn't have anything to do with me, only my surrender to the Lord.  I am an introverted person by nature.  My ability to witness is only a product of my surrender to God every morning and my daily prayers that He will use me for His purpose and that He will give me souls for Him.  My idea of "winning souls" is typing Christian articles on the website.  I am a loner.  This type of "street evangelism" is definitely "not me," yet, God is a prayer-answering God.  When you rarely go out of the house and you definitely don't want to talk to anyone when you do go out; if you surrender yourself to God for His purpose and pray to win souls, it is going to happen no matter who you are.  As you can see, God is placing souls all around me whose hearts are hungry for the Lord.  If you are reading this, but you haven't received the Lord, I beg you to accept Him into your life, before it is too late.  Two children that I know of, who have been resuscitated from near death experiences, have said they went to heaven, met Jesus and that "He said He is coming soon!"  One of these was not quite four years old and the other one was 12.  Their testimonies are profound for such young children.  Their parents have written books, one, "Heaven is for Real" and the other, "A Message from God."  The Lord is coming soon and the earth is demonstrating signs of His return.  We only have one opportunity to receive the Lord in this life, then after this life, we will face the judgment of God (Hebrews 9:27).  If you are saved, let us continue to focus on winning souls.  Jesus said to His disciples, "I will make you fishers of men" Mark 1:17.  The Bible also says, "...he who wins souls is wise" Proverbs 11:30.

Prophecies of the Messiah Fulfilled in Jesus Christ

The prophets of God said that a Savior would come into the world to redeem man and save him from the penalty of sin.  The celebrated time of Christ's birth is a perfect time to remember God's promises to send our Savior.  There are too many scriptures foretelling Jesus's birth, ministry and suffering to include in this newsletter, although here are a few in remembrance of the profound fulfillment of prophecies given thousands of years ago: 

The Messiah would be born of a virgin  
 Prophetic Scripture:  The Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will conceive and bear a Son and will call His name Immanuel (meaning God with us - among numerous other names identified by the prophet Isaiah).  Isaiah 7:14 (~740 BC).  Fulfilled:  In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary.  The angel came to her and said, "Hail, you who are highly favored; the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women."  The angel said to her, "Fear not, Mary, for you have found favor with God.  Behold, you will conceive and bring forth a Son and you will call His name Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew, which means Salvation)."  Luke 1:26-31.  

The Messiah would be born in Bethlehem  
 Prophetic Scripture:  You, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall He come forth to Me, He that is to be ruler in Israel, whose going forth has been from old, from everlasting.  Micah 5:2 (~700 BC)  Fulfilled:  Joseph went up from Galilee, out of the City of Nazareth, into Judea to the City of David, which is called Bethlehem, to be taxed with Mary, his espoused wife, who was great with child.  So it was while they were there, the days were completed that she should deliver, and she brought forth her first born Son and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.  Luke 2:4-7.

The Messiah would be declared the Son of God
Prophetic Scripture:  I will declare the deree: The Lord said to me, "You are My Son; this day I have begotten You." Pslam 2:7 (~900 BC).  Fulfilled:  Lo, a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matthew 3:17
 
The Messiah's triumphant entry into Jerusalem
Prophetic Scripture:  Rejoice greatly, oh daughter of Zion; shout, oh daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes to you; He is just and has salvation, lowly, and riding upon a colt, the foal of an ass.  Zechariah 9:9 (~520 BC).  Fulfilled:  They brought the colt to Jesus and cast their garments on him and He sat on him.  And they that went before Him and followed Him cried, saying, "Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord."  And Jesus entered Jerusalem and into the temple...Mark 11:7,9,11.

The Messiah would be rejected by the people 
Prophetic Scripture:  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, and we hid our faces from Him; He was despised and we did not esteem Him.  Isaiah 53:3 (~740 BC).  Fulfilled:  They cried out, "Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him."  Pilate said to them, "Should I crucify your King?"  The chief priests answered, "We have no king but Caesar."  John 19:15.

The Messiah would be crucified among criminals
Prophetic Scripture:  I will give Him a portion with the great and He will divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out his soul to death and He was numbered with transgressors; He bore the sins of many, making intercession for the transgressors.  Isaiah 53:12 (~740 BC).   Fulfilled:  He was crucified with two thieves, one on His right, and the other on His left.  Mark 15:27

Never a man spoke like this man, Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God.  No one fulfilled the prophecies of the Messiah to come like Jesus.  He died to pay the penalty for our sins, so we could have eternal life.  If you haven't received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, won't you take care of your eternal soul and destiny today?  You only need to say a simple prayer form your heart, asking God to forgive you of your sins; and after you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, follow His teachings outlined in the Word of God.  God bless you and Merry Christmas!

The EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) Threat to America

 It is no secret that a terrorist's nuclear bomb detonated hundreds of kilometers above the earth's surface over the USA could have a devastating affect on our electrical grids, putting Americans back into the dark ages.  An EMP could render all electrical power and devices useless.  According to a news article publised by www.WorldNetDaily.com on August 10, 2011, Iran threatens this very thing against the US in retaliation for the sabotage against their nuclear program.  Our electrical grids could be protected, but they are not, and our government is not working towards protecting them against threat at this time either (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/electromagnetic_pulse).  High-ranking officials are prepared, in that they have created underground bunkers for themselves, fully contained with impenetrable sources of electricity and supplies to last months.  Unfortunately, no provisions have been made for you and me (see Jesse Ventura's [former Governor of MN] conspiracy video located on the News Videos page of this site, dated 10/29/11).  In addition to the possible threat of a nuclear EMP, NASA has also predicted fierce solar flares for 2012, which has caused some people such fear that they are preparing underground bunkers for protection.  As a child of the Most High God, I am not worried about suffering because God has promised His people protection from the wrath to come (1 Thessalonians 1:10).  If we are prepared, the lack of power and electricity could be nothing more than a great inconvenience; but for those who are not prepared, it could be a matter of life and death.  The Word of God tells us, "Consider the ways of the ant and be wise" Proverbs 6:6.  We know that the ant works all spring, summer and fall and is fully prepared for winter.  I am not so much concerned with possible terrorist attacks or solar flares, as I am with what the Word of God tells us will happen in these last days.  The Bible says that the wrath of God will fall on the wicked and ungodly (Ephesians 5:6 and Colossians 3:6); His wrath is not directed towards the righteous.  According to the signs given to us by Jesus in the book of Matthew 24, we know that we are living in the last days.  We should also be able to discern that with the many catastrophes hitting the globe, the world is experiencing the "sorrows" described in Matthew 24:1-8.  God wants His people to be ready at all times, so he has not given us the day or the hour of His coming, but He has given us signs to look for, described in Matthew 24.  The Bible says, "The fourth angel poured out his vial on the sun and power was given to him to scorch men's flesh" Revelation 16:8 (NASA's prediction of solar flares?).  Zechariah 14:12 says, "This will be the plague that the Lord will smite all the people with that have fought against Jerusalem; their flesh will consume away while they stand on their feet and their eyes will consume away in their sockets, and their tongue will consume away in their mouth" (sound like the effects of a nuclear blast?).  Zechariah 14:1 says, "Behold the day of the Lord is coming and the spoil will be divided in your midst."  The entire chapter speaks about the end time and the return of the Lord.  This should not alarm Christians, because according to 1 Thessalonians 4, we won't be here.  We won't be here during the wrath of God, but we certainly could face some pretribulation woes, such as an EMP.  Are you prepared?  If you aren't already saved, the first preparation needs to be repentance and a commitment to the Lord.  If solar flares or a nuclear blast in the atmosphere pulverizes our electrical grids, your car will not start, computers will not work (ATM machines may not work and bank information may not be available), water pumps will not bring water to your home, and there will be no electricity, phones and cell phones will not work, just to name a few things.  Many businesses and residents have generators in the event of a power outage, but they do not run indefinitely.  An EMP could potentially cause blackouts throughout the US that could last months or years.  It is imperative that you immediately store the following essential items: enough water to get by until you can get to a water source, bicycle(s), cash, self-generating (crank) radio/light, flashlights, batteries, an oil lamp/oil, matches, candles, warm clothing, plenty of blankets, thermal sleeping bags, a supply of wood/coal for cooking and heating, canned and nonperishable foods, a manual can opener, first aid kit, extra supply of critical medications.  If you are skeptical, there are secular reports out there, written by qualified people.  You can read an interesting analogy by an electrical engineer at this website: http://www.futurescience.com/emp/emp-protection.html.

Joshua's Altar Found

I read Deuteronomy 27 recently, where Moses told the children of Israel to set up stones after they crossed over Jordan and to write the laws God had given them on the stones.  They were also instructed to erect an altar there on Mount Ebal.  God said to Moses, "You will make an altar of earth for Me and you will sacrifice your burnt offerings and peace offerings of sheep and oxen on it; in every place where I record My name, I will come to you and bless you" Exodus 20:24.  On April 6, 1980, Adam Zertal, Ph.D., Professor of Archeology, University of Haifa, was doing an archeological survey of the lands of Manasseh and discovered a Hebrew altar that dated to 1250 BC.  Using the pottery to date the site, Zertal said, "The pottery fixes a date for the construction of the altar - approximately 1250 BC."  However, the site at Mount Ebal had two occupation levels.  Zertal calls the older occupation "Level II" which he dates 1300 BC and the younger to 1250 BC.  If this site is no older than 1300 BC, then none of it could have been built by Joshua, because the exodus took place in 1400 BC.  However, this is a Hebrew altar built during the time of Deborah the judge, and underneath, we believe, is the actual altar built by Joshua, which should be dated to 1400 BC.  We agree that there are clearly two occupation levels.  The rectangular altar we see today was built about 1250 BC.  The 6.5 feet circular stone structure with burnt kosher bones inside is located beneath the rectangular altar and was built about 1400 BC by Joshua.  We speculate that since Abraham and Isaac lived in the area and built altars, we believe that the site dates back to the time of Abraham and that Joshua built his altar on top of Isaac's, who in turn built his altar on top of Abraham's.  In other words, the site has a long tradition of use as an altar from 2000 BC to 1250 BC.  Adam Zertal said that this archeological site has made a believer out of him.  He has undergone a transformation of faith that is truly remarkable.  After studying the structure for three years with no idea what it was used for, he suddenly realized that it was the site of Joshua's altar.  * Excerpts from this article were taken from: www.Bible.ca/archeology/Bible-archeology-altar-of-joshua.htm.  Joshua chapter 8 describes how Joshua built an altar to the Lord God on Mount Ebal, as Moses commanded he should do after crossing the River Jordan.  This Hebrew altar, dating to the time of Joshua, was discovered in 1980 by Adam Zertal, and the discovery changed his life.  As time progresses, we are finding more and more evidence of Biblical characters and events, which, prior to these discoveries, many discounted as fictional stories told long ago.  Others challenged that the Bible was mythical and written not so long ago, until the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, some of which date as far back as 200 BC.  Fragments were found of every Old Testament Book, except for the Book of Esther.  Do you need more proof that God created heaven and earth and that He gave His Word to the early prophets?  You may never receive what you are looking for.  Jesus said, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but there will be no sign given to it, except for the sign of the prophet Jonas" Matthew 12:39.  "Jonas" refers to the prophet we know as Jonah in the Old Testament.  His "sign" was that he went to a very wicked city by the name of Nineveh and preached a sermon about repentance; otherwise, he said, God would destroy them because of their wickedness.  Jesus also said to (doubting) Thomas, "You have believed because you have seen Me; but blessed are those who have not seen, yet they believe" John 20:29.  The gospel of Jesus Christ, our Savior, has been preached throughout the world for more than 2,000 years.  The apostle Paul said, "Now is the acceptable time, behold, now is the day of salvation" 2 Corinthians 6:2.  The evidence is all around us, the magnificence of earth and the universe display.  If you miss the opportunity to accept Jesus as your Savior, you will pay a devastating penalty throughout eternity - for rejecting the only begotten Son of God, who died for your sins and mine.  Isn't it interesting that Muslims believe that the only sure way to go to heaven is to die for Allah.  Muslims are encouraging their sons to die for Allah, to secure their passage to heaven; but the truth is, God gave His only Son a ransom for our sins, so we can be forgiven and dwell eternally with Him.  At Passover, as the Jews were delivered from Egypt's bondage, God told Moses to have every family slay a lamb and place the blood on their doorposts, so the firstborn of the Jews would be saved from the death angel.  This is a figure of what our Savior's blood did for us.

He's Coming Once Again - Glory To His Name

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man" Ecclesiastes 12:13.  King Solomon, endowed with the greatest wisdom of all time, from God the Father, wrote this verse of the Bible.  To hear some notable ministers today, you would think that it's all summed up in a one-time prayer of repentance and no obligation after that.  Salvation is free, we want to make no mistake about that, but those who come to "true repentance" also experience a life-changing event.  Jesus taught in the Temple and read out of the book of Isaiah, speaking of Himself, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those that are bruised, and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord" Luke 4:18-19.  The apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians, "No temptation has come upon you that is uncommon to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted more than you are able to bear, but with every temptation, He will make a way for you to escape, so you can bear it" 1 Corinthians 10:13.  As we get closer to the return of Jesus, the scriptures are being fulfilled: "The Spirit speaks expressly that in the last days some will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils" 1 Timothy 4:1.  I am shocked to hear prominent preachers today who are literally afraid to say, "Jesus is the only way to heaven."  Beyond that, many are not preaching the way of "holiness," as did the apostles.  The Bible tells us, "Be no more children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the sleight of men and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive" Ephesians 4:14.  Salvation is free, but men can turn back, which has nothing at all to do with the gift that is first given.  We do not have to do anything to earn salvation, but men can receive it freely, and then turn away from it.  The scripture tells us in Hebrews 10:39, "We are not of them who draw back into perdition, but of them who believe to the saving of the soul."  Jesus also said in Luke 9:62, "No man having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."  The above-referenced scriptures are what many consider to be "too negative" to preach in the pulpit today.  God forbid that they might also preach that Jesus is not returning as the Lamb slain, but as the "Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5)!"  He will return "with a two-edged sword to smite the nations...with the fierceness of the wrath of God" Revelation 19:15.  He will not return with the countenance of a meek and lowly "Lamb" of God, but with fire in His eyes (Revelation 1:14 and Revelation 19:12).  He is coming to cast judgment on the nations and to make war against the ungodly (Revelation 19:11), with His vesture dipped in blood (Revelation 19:13).  Some believe His vesture is dipped in blood because He bled on the cross, but I beg to differ with that opinion.  His vesture is dipped in blood because he has slain the ungodly nations with a two-edged sword (Revelation 19:15).  While reading this month's newsletter, I imagine some are turning to the Book of Revelation by about this time, because this Jesus is someone you might not be too familiar with.  You may be thinking, "What about the loving, crucified Jesus, who died on the cross and forgives all sins, the meek as a lamb Jesus?"  Yes, this is the same Jesus, but we are at the back of the Book now, which not many are talking about because it carries a "negative" message that some don't like to talk about.  If you believe in the Word of God, you must believe in all of it.  That message makes people feel bad and it makes some even leave the churches and, God forbid, it makes some stop supporting the ministry!  I'm not ashamed to say that this message excites me!  Jesus will return to destroy the wicked, those who have persecuted the saints, burned them alive at the stake, those who have killed, tortured and molested little children, those who have committed atrocities, even in the name of our Lord and Savior!  Jesus is returning to execute judgment and I am on His side, so why should I fear?  Why should I dislike this message of judgment and justice?  If you are among those that will return with Him, you will not be ashamed of this gospel of truth.   If you are not ashamed of the Jesus of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, you should not be ashamed of the same Jesus of Revelation.  Revelation 14:7 says, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment is come, and worship Him who made heaven and earth and the sea and the fountains of waters."  Amen.

On December 18, 2010, riots broke out in Tunisia, then in Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, Syria, Yemen, Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, and on the borders of Israel; as well as protests in Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Western Sahara.  Many demonstrations have met with violence through pro-government militias.  These protests are often referred to as the "Arab Spring."  The Word of God tells us that all nations will come against Israel in the last days.  Jesus said, "When you see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation is near" Luke 21:20.  He also said, "There will be signs in the sun, moon, stars, and distress of nations upon the earth with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring" Luke 21:25.  These are signs of the end times, which we are seeing now, right before our eyes.  Throughout my lifetime, I have never seen so many wars in different nations.  A number of former Muslims who are intimately familiar with what is going on in the Middle East, who still have families living throughout these nations, report that the radical Muslim Brotherhood, a terrorist organization, is behind the uprisings in these nations.  One of these is Walid Shoebat (www.shoebat.com), a former Muslim and PLO terrorist.  He attests that their underlying goal is to create governments that will rise against Israel.  It is deliberate and purposeful, because these radical Muslims believe that Mahdi (the Muslim messiah) will not come until they declare jihad and start a holy war against Israel.  According to the Muslim faith, once Muslims start a major war against Israel, their Mahdi and Jesus, whom they believe to be a prophet, will return and "finish" the battle against Israel, and all others who refuse to convert (Sahih al-Bukhari 4:52:177).  The Muslim faith is not just a religion, but also a legal system and religion of conquest.  Their religious goal and purpose is to see to it that Islam and Shariah law prevail in every nation of the world!  People who believe there are peace-loving Muslims, who do not believe in this aspect of their faith, are deceived.  It is a well-known tactic among Muslims to fake peace, until you can fortify your position, then attack and conquer.  It is part of their religion and it is referred to as "Hudna."  Before they can attempt to bring jihad against Israel, which is said to bring the return of their Mahdi, the surrounding Muslim nations must all be in alignment together against Israel.  This conquest is not only on the minds of the Muslims in the nations surrounding Israel.  The G8 Summit convened on May 26-27, 2011, and the eight nations pledged billions of dollars to support the "Arab Spring" nations.  The group of eight leading nations, United States, Canada, Russia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom, pledged 20 billion dollars to help radical Muslims (the Muslim Brotherhood) "settle the nations;" 3 billion of that was pledged by Barack Obama in behalf of the (bankrupt) United States!  Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, recently announced on national television that the Obama administration wants to "reestablish ties with Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood!"  He might as well have said he wants to talk with the devil!  President Obama also jumped right into war against Libya without Congressional approval.  This war costs the US taxpayers 10 million dollars a day (www.DailyPaul.com).  For that reason, ten bipartisan Congressmen have filed a lawsuit against Barack Obama for his violation of the Constitution and the War Powers Act, in bypassing Congress in his decision to go to war in Libya.  Obama doesn't care.  He is full speed ahead on a mission and he is obviously not moved by the prospect of being sued by Congress; too much is at stake - one of his primary goals in the White House.  This is just the beginning of what will be the end of the age and the return of the Lord.  Jesus said, "Blessed are those servants whom the Lord will find watching when He comes; verity I say unto you, He will gird Himself and make them to sit down to meat and will come forth and serve them" Luke 12:37.  Are your watching and waiting for the Lord?  It is very sad to see that even some who profess to be Christians turn away from the last days Bible prophecies.  I heard one young "minister" on Trinity Broadcasting Network say recently, "I'm not ready for the Lord to come just yet; I haven't had a chance to get married - and I have waited a long time."  The audience cheered him on that day.  We shouldn't be so involved with the world and the things that are in the world that we actually don't want to see the Lord return!  Jesus said, "Love not the world neither the things that are in the world.  If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him" 1 John 2:15.  If the world only knew what the Bible says lies shortly ahead of us, everyone would be praying, "Lord come quickly!"  In fact, Jesus said, "Watch and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man (Jesus)" Luke 21:36.

The European Union Connection

 The formation of the European Union has major spiritual implications, which are reflected in the religious symbols that the EU has adopted by way of its flag, its anthem, its architecture and its logo.  In September 1998, the EU introduced an art exhibit sketch of the future EU organization, with the insertion of a heading, "Roman Empire Returns" (source: inplainsite.org).  We read in Daniel 2 that Nebuchadnezzar's dream revealed that the Roman Empire would rule in the last days, which was represented by Rome's primary metal, iron.  The iron was mingled with clay and this clay represents another empire, which coexists with the Roman Empire during the last days.  Some Bible scholars believe that the clay represents democracy and I am inclined to agree, in that Israel's government is a democracy and the scriptures reveal that this democracy will conflict with the Antichrist's dictatorship, until the return of Christ.  The EU started with only six nations in 1957, but now has 27 nations, with a list of nations also waiting to be approved.  There is a strong coalition between the EU and the United Nations.  They basically operate as one body of nations in their ideology and vision, according to "un.org/news/press/docs/2011."  The collectively formed "The Millennium Goals," eight goals developed by both governing forces, which are:  End poverty and hunger; Universal education; Gender equality; Child health; Maternal health; Combat HIV/AIDS; Environmental sustainability; Global partnership.  These all sound so wonderful and humanitarian at the onset, but the means to reach the results are contrary to God's laws.  Of these eight goals, three of them are very pro-homosexual.  A primary goal behind universal education is to teach the world's children to accept homosexual lifestyles; gender equality carries with it a whole itinerary of gay "rights," which infringe on Christians' rights to even speak negatively about homosexual lifestyles; and the combat HIV/AIDS initiative primarily focuses on the ill health of homosexuals, but leaves out many other debilitating diseases.  Did you notice there is nothing mentioned about cancer or leukemia?  A primary objective, hidden within environmental sustainability, is to reduce the population of the world to 500 million people, about one-sixth of the current population.  The EU is looking for one leader to "be at the helm," according to "alan.franklin@ntlworld.com;" of course, we know who that will be.  The EU's flag is blue with 12 gold stars forming a circle.  The former Secretary General of the EU, Leon Marchal, affirmed that the stars represent "the woman of the Apocalypse (Revelation 12)."  The Catholic Church is very much in coalition with the EU; here we see the uniformity of the rising "false prophet" and the EU.  An amazing poster was issued by the EU portraying a picture of the Tower of Babel, including the slogan, "Many tongues, one voice."  Above the Tower of Babel were 12 eurostars, but inverted, as in witchcraft, with the central points in the downward position.  The ancient city of Babylon, where Nimrod originally attempted to build the Tower of Babel, is what is known as Iraq today.  We all know how the story ended; the Babylonians were confounded with different languages and God destroyed their plans.  In 1983, Saddam Hussein began the restoration of Babylon at the original site.  Of course, we know of his demise.  As shown in the photo at top, the UN has erected a modern replica of the Tower of Babel.  It is a modern structure, which appears to be unfinished, but was deliberately fashioned to replicate the unfinished Tower of Babel.  Even the secular press named it, "The Tower of Eurobabel."  The official EU stamp depicts the harlot of Revelation 17 riding the beast!  Their building in Brussels, Belgium, contains a dome with a huge (3x life size) painting of this woman riding a beast.  If that isn't enough to curdle your blood, the UN building in Strasbourg, France, features a mural of the same woman on a beast, and their building in Brussels has a bronze statue of the harlot riding a beast and the beast is depicted riding on waves, just as it is "on many waters" in Revelation 17.  It appears that Satan is very brazen in his plans and absolutely doesn't care one bit that God's people are able to see the connection between the European Union and the work of the Antichrist, or his connection to the harlot riding the beast (the Catholic Church).  Friends, Christ is at the door, "When you see all these things, know that it is near (the Lord's return), even at the doors" Matthew 24:33.  Are you prepared to meet Him?  Will He say, "Well done, faithful servant," or "I never knew you, depart from me, you that work iniquity" (Matthew 7:23)?

The Seven Year Peace Treaty of Daniel 9:27

 During the early years of Mohammed's leadership, "as the prophet of Allah," he had followers of only about 1,500 men.  Mohammed and his men were kicked out of Mecca by the Quraysh, a stronger Arabian tribe.  One day, Mohammed told his men that Allah spoke to him and told him to make the pilgrimage to Mecca with his men during the night.  As Mohammed and his band attempted to sneak into Mecca at the Spring of Hudaibiya, they were stopped by the Quraysh tribe and forbidden to go into Mecca, but they did offer Mohammed a ten year peace treaty, referred to as the "Treaty of Hudaibiya," which Mohammed agreed to.  His men were ashamed and disappointed in Mohammed.  Knowing his men were disillusioned, he had to act quickly.  Mohammed announced to his men the following day that Allah gave him another message to let him know that the treaty was a great victory.  Under the guise of the peace treaty, they had time to fortify their army, until they were stronger than Quraysh, then they could attack.  Among Muslims, this is known as "Hudna," a time to fain peace while you fortify your armies for the conquest.  Mohammed then announced to his men that his latest revelation from Allah was that they could conquer the nearby wealthy Jewish village of Khaibar; and the booty would include women and children, who would be their sex slaves, and that law stands to this day (resource: Walid Shoebat, former Muslim Terrorist).  The incentive for Jihad (holy war), "according to his revelation from Allah," had now been established.  After conquering Khaibar, the Muslims became pirates of the desert.  Mohammed and his men began attacking wealthy Jewish villages and gained new found wealth.  When non-Muslim Arabs saw all the Muslims enjoying this wealth, new converts began pouring into Mohammed's band.  After this, growth of the Muslim faith was staggering.  Within two years, Mohammed's followers grew from 1,500 to 10,000.  As soon as Mohammed's followers were mightier than Quraysh, the Muslims broke their peace treaty and conquered Quraysh, taking control of Mecca.  To this day, Muslims do not honor peace treaties as such, they use these as a mechanism to recalibrate and fortify themselves, then conquer.  This tactic is referred to as "Hudna."  Today, all Muslims clearly understand "Hudaibiya" to be a code word, which means, "Kiss the hand of your enemy, until you have the opportunity to cut it off!"  The Muslim faith is the only religion today which has a fundamental teaching to conquer the world.  As Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says, "We will not rest until our flag flies over every nation."  Peace treaties mean nothing to Muslims.  They are only a temporary means to meet the end.  The Palestinian Authority said only last month (4/11) that they are going to declare their sovereign Palestinian state by September 2011, with or without a peace treaty.  The United Nations appointed President Obama to write a proposed peace treaty, hopefully to be ready by 9/11 (the date is not coincidental).  We are on the brink of the seven year peace covenant foretold by the prophet Daniel (9:27).  It is not coincidence that Muslims are awaiting their Mahdi (messiah) to arrive on a white horse - literally, while the Antichrist described in the Bible arrives on a white horse, Revelation 6:2, "I saw a white horse and he who sat on him had a bow and a crown was given to him and he went forth conquering."  Daniel 9:27 tells us that the Antichrist will "...covenant with many for one week (seven years [Biblically]) and in the middle of the week, he will cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease (he will break the treaty with the Jews, forbidding them to sacrifice in the temple)."  When the Antichrist breaks the treaty, he will go about to conquer.  This is when the Antichrist of the Bible (Mahdi of the Qu'ran - Muslim bible) will reign terror on the earth, until the Lord returns with His saints to defeat him (Jude 1:14 and Revelation 19:11-21).  Islam is a religion of conquest.  The Hadith (Muslim holy book) says, "The time of judgment will not come until Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry, Oh Muslim!  There is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him!"  Bukhari 4.52.176.177.  This pending peace agreement means that the church could be raptured at any moment, since the "catching up" of the church takes place prior to our return with Jesus (I Thessalonians 4:17) to defeat the Antichrist and the nations who have forgotten God (Psalm 9:17 and Revelation 19:15).  Are you ready for His return?

The Great Whore of Revelation 17

Rome is often referred to as "The City of Seven Hills."  The Catholic Encyclopedia states, "It is within the City of Rome, called 'The City of Seven Hills,' that the entire area of the Vatican state proper is now confined."  God specifically tells us about the judgment of the "great whore" in Revelation 17.  In the first verse, we read that one of the seven angels having seven vials said to John, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great whore that sits upon many waters."  Revelation 17:15 tells us that many waters refer to "people, multitudes, nations, and tongues (languages)."  The Catholic Church has the greatest number of followers in the world today among religions (www.catholicbygrace.blogspot.com).  While some Christian churches boast their millions, the Catholic Church claims more than one billion members (en.wikipedia.org).  Revelation 17:2 says, "With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication."  Throughout the Old Testament scriptures, the prophets frequently reiterated in the ears of Israel that they "went a whoring after the gods of other nations" (Deuteronomy 31:16).  There is no other church in the world more affiliated with big government than the Catholic Church.  The Popes have visited nations all over the world (en.wikipedia.org), and they have aligned themselves with the European Union, the Club of Rome, and the United Nations.  The Catholic Church promotes a one-world government (www.catholictruthscotland.com).  Revelation 17:4, "And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication."  The Catholic Church has sold "indulgence in sin" certificates, absolution from the punishment of sin for a specified price.  I can think of few things more blasphemous than this.  In Acts 8:18-23, Simon offered the apostles money for the gift and power of the Holy Ghost, and the apostles told him, "Repent of thy wickedness," and they told him he was "in the bond of iniquity."  Revelation 17:6 says, "I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus."  Verse 9 says, "Here is the mind that has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits."  The scriptures allude to more than one meaning in some instances, such as the Passover Lamb (OT) and Christ (NT).  Not only do the seven heads of the beast represent seven continents of the world, but they are also indicative of the seven hills within Rome, regarding the "great whore" of Revelation 17.  One day soon, God is going to judge the Catholic Church for the torturous murders of countless saints during the inquisition.  I have read part of "Fox's Book of Martyrs," but not in its entirety.  The heinous acts committed by the Catholic Church against Christians and Jews is hardly tolerable to read.  We have forgotten, but God has not forgotten.  The atrocious manner in which the Catholic Church tortured, burned and maimed the saints was unimaginable.  The Catholic Church confiscated their wealth and has never made restitution.  Their magnificent cathedrals adorned with gold, precious jewels, and fine linens portray magnitude of their theft and embezzlement of the wealth of the innocent ones they burned and tortured.  Most of us couldn't burn a bug alive, and that's the truth.  The Bible tells us in Revelation 17:16, "the ten horns which you saw on the beast (ten rulers), these shall hate the whore and shall make her desolate and naked and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire."  God is the epitome of love; He came and died a cruel death for us.  Nevertheless, church leaders today do not want to publicize that He is also the epitome of wrath and vengeance poured out upon those that do so wickedly, "Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" Revelation 20:15.  We will truly reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7).
