Redeeming the Time

It is April 27, 2013, and I hadn’t yet given the monthly newsletter a thought (old age creeping up, actually already there). Nevertheless, the Lord is always just on time! As I was praying this morning, the Lord reminded me, not only that it is almost time to have a newsletter ready to go out for May, but He also informed me what He wanted me to write about. The topic is along the same subject as an article the Lord had given me for the Prophetic Newsletter website last month titled Lying Wonders. If you didn’t read the article, you will gain some of the information the Lord revealed to me here; if you did, you will receive a “double portion.”

Through words spoken to me by an angel of the Lord upon waking on April 23, 2013, I was led to a Freemason website, which included some very interesting facts (more detail on the website). I discovered how frequently Masonic (Luciferian) symbols are used in the production of movies. I have heard that the Illuminati, many of whom are Masons, control the movie and news media industries, and what I found on the website the Lord led me to, confirmed what I had heard. The Lord revealed to me that the things people are watching on TV and in movie theaters today are part of the last days “lying wonders” the apostle Paul wrote about: “The mystery of iniquity already works, only he who now letteth (detains – original Greek) will let (detain), until he be taken out of the way, and then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming. Even Him, whose coming is after satan with all power and signs and lying wonders” 2 Thessalonians 2:7-9. There were no televisions in Paul’s day, but I can only imagine what he might say if he saw some of the movies and news publications today, especially regarding economy and politics. I believe he would say, “lying wonders!” God revealed to me that the masses are being duped by much of what they see: the hype, the outlandish, the obscene, Godlessness, immorality and all-out lies that are being told on propagandized news media for “special interests.” He revealed to me that many of His own people can’t redeem the time because they are so addicted to TV. Many of God’s people are spiritually asleep, as portrayed in the parable of The Ten Virgins (Matthew 25), because their minds are so focused on their favorite programs and, what they consider to be, exciting movies. They have a “must-see” line-up of programs, which take priority over just about everything else. It saddens the Lord, because He has commissioned His people to spend time in prayer, studying His Word and in preparation for sharing the gospel at every opportunity, but many are not prepared. They go about life, meeting new people and God opens up many opportunities, but those opportunities are missed because their focus is on something else. There is no life in watching TV, unless you tune into the limited number of true Christian programs. If you are caught up in a whirlwind of television and movies, or other entertainment and distractions, please consider what the Spirit of the Lord is saying in these last days. He is coming soon, billions are unsaved and there is very little time to “pull them out of the fire” (Jude 1:23). Won’t you deny the desires of the flesh and at least do without some comforts that are not edifying to your spirit, so you can feed your soul with “manna from heaven” and be prepared to witness to the lost and dying? Of course, that question doesn’t apply to those who already tithe their time to God. The great man of God, Daniel, prayed three times a day and his life is an excellent example to us, if we desire to walk and talk with the Lord. We all need to ask ourselves if we are among those who primarily call on the name of the Lord when we need something – like right now! – or if we spend time in prayer and meditating on God’s Word each day, so that when we go to the Lord in prayer, we go in honor and adoration, in addition to putting forth our requests. The Word of God says, “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore, I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He will call upon Me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble and honor him” Psalm 91:14-15. It pays to know the Lord and to have a very personal relationship with Him. These promises were not written for those who have forgotten God, or who rarely speak to Him. Do you have a close, personal relationship with God Almighty? If not, His arms are open to you. Salvation and a personal, unique relationship with God are available to you, if you seek the Lord with your whole heart. Put God first in your life and He will be your Father and He will honor you! The Word of God tells us, “Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust corrupts…” Matthew 6:20.
