A major 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit near the north coast
of Irian Jaya, Indonesia, on September 18, 2016, at 07:17:36 UTC, reported LDEO
of Columbia University.
673 major (6.0+) to super (8.0+) earthquakes hit various places
worldwide over the last 1,307 days. Among these were 82 7.0+
