If You Die Today, Do You Know For Certain You Will Go To Heaven?
All written publications on this site, every page, may be copied and shared for evangelistic purposes. Did Jesus say, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature," "and make sure you copyright it!" I think not. God bless you with the Light of the world.

The Word of God tells us that "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23.  The Bible also tells us that "The wages of sin is death" Romans 6:23.  God is a holy God and the only way we can be reconciled to Him is through holiness, but we aren't holy; all of us have sinned.  This is why God sent Jesus, His only Son, to pay the price of death for our sins, so those who receive God's Son, Jesus, can have eternal life.  John 3:16 says, "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life."

There are at least 668 prophecies in the Bible which have already been fulfilled.  Some prophecies concerning the coming of Christ are thousands of years old; they have been dated and they have come to pass.  Isaiah wrote about 700 years before the birth of Christ, "Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" Isaiah 9:6.  This is just one of so many.  Another scripture in Micah 5:2 says, "Thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to me that is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth have been from old, from everlasting."  This was another prophecy written about 700 years before Christ concerning the city of His birth.

Jesus said of Himself, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; no man comes to the Father, but by Me" John 14:6.

If you want to be saved and receive eternal life, you need only to say a simple prayer and mean it; something like this:  "God, please forgive me of all of my sins.  I believe that your Son, Jesus, died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins, and I receive Him as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus's name I pray."

If you prayed this type of prayer, God has forgiven your sins and He will come into your heart and life.  He will give you new life through the sacrifice Jesus paid for your sins, and His Spirit will dwell in you and guide you, as you yield yourself to His will.  If you received Jesus as your Savior, it is important that you read the Bible, while asking God for the divine interpretation.  You can find the Bible online at www.BibleGateway.com (various versions, so I recommend the New King James Version for new Christians), and you can also find study helps online at this link:  www.BibleStudyTools.com and I highly recommend the Matthew Henry Commentary on the Whole Bible (Concise for new Christians, or the Complete for seasoned Christians).  Jesus promised, "I will never leave you or forsake you" Hebrews 13:5.  It is good to fellowship with other Christians, if possible; but it is also equally as important to make absolute certain that the church, or fellowship group you attend, believes the true doctrine of Christ, as taught in the Bible. I have included links to ministries which have programs and good Bible teaching online on the Links page as well. God bless you!
