Edward Cahill raised several pit bulls from the time they were
puppies. One of them, called “Fat Boy,” mauled him to death in his home on
Christmas day.
Cahill’s girlfriend returned to the home to find 40-year-old
Cahill unresponsive on the living room floor. He was later pronounced dead at
the scene from massive blood loss due to the mauling.
The Word of God tells us concerning the last days,
“And I looked and, behold, a pale horse, and his name that sat
on him was Death, and hell followed with him; and power was given unto them
over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with the sword, and with hunger, and
with death, and with the beasts of the earth” Revelation 6:8.
The seven-year tribulation period has not begun, but as
we draw near to that time, we will see a marked increase in such deaths.
One-fourth of the world’s population will die, and beasts will one of four
causes.
God’s people, however, will be “caught up” before the onslaught
begins (1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, Revelation 3:10).
