RUSSIAN VOLCANO ERUPTS
After lying dormant for about 250 years, Russia’s Kambalny
volcano erupted last Friday, according to Live Science.
There were no preceding
warning signs. “Nothing pointed to a possible eruption of the Kambalny,” said
Olga Girina, who heads Kamchatka Volcanic Eruption Response Team. “It is a pure
surprise for us.” Ash plumes reached 16,000 feet and traveled southwest from the
volcano.
Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula has the highest concentration of
active volcanoes in the world. There are 29 active volcanoes in the region.
The word of God tells us that there will be such signs during
the end times.
“I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth
beneath, blood, fire and vapor of smoke” Acts 2:19.
