PTA MEMBERS “FROM HELL”

Jeneen Gino: Jeneen Gino, a Lyndhurst, NJ, PTA president, was arrested for embezzlement and taking more than $10,000 in PTA funds. This woman previously plead guilty for stealing $160 from a Little League concession stand.

David Navarro: David Navarro, the president of Belfair Elementary School PTA in Washington, recorded the sexual abuse of an eight-year-old girl at the school and posted the video to the internet!

Even if someone is the president of your local PTA, do not trust your children to their care, unless you know who they are.

James Harold Marzullo: Marzullo was the treasurer for the Emerson Middle School PTA in West Los Angeles. He stole $65,000, which nearly drained the entire account before it was discovered by other members of the PTA when he failed to return phone calls and stopped attending meetings. The money he took was never recovered. 

Beverly Lunsford: Lunsford, the mother of a student at Dirigo Elementary School in Paris, Maine, took more than 15 minutes to park her car at a PTA meeting. Police investigated and found crushed buspirone in her car, along with a straw she used to snort the drug. Lunsford was arrested under an array of charges, including resisting arrest and unlawful possession of drugs.

Do you personally know the parents of the children that your children associate with? If not, it is important that you get to know them.

Providence Hogan: Hogan volunteered at the local PTA in Brooklyn, NY. In 2011, it was discovered that she stole $82,000 from the PTA account for fertility treatments and her failing spa business. 

Joan Tuckruskye: Joan Tuckruskye, the 44-year-old vice president of the Baldwin Elementary School PTA, NY, and a mother of three, was caught in the school parking lot in her SUV nude from the waist down with a 13-year-old student, who was also nude from the waist down! She was sentenced to only six months in jail!!!

Maricela Barajas, Eva Perez and Juliana Celeste Menefee: These three Diamond Bar, CA, residents used their PTA standing at Armstrong Elementary School to coax parents into investing in a “Ponzi scheme,” taking over a million dollars from 40 parents in the process.

Kent and Jill Easter: Mr and Mrs Easter are Southern California lawyers who were more than a little upset when a PTA volunteer, Kelli Peters, didn’t bring their son out from his after school program on time. They planted marijuana and a pipe in Peters’s car, but DNA from the pipe was traced back to the Easters, who were both charged for framing Peters.

John K Foote: Foote, who was the PTA secretary for Freedom Elementary School in Bullitt, KY, and on the decision-making council at Bullitt Lick Middle School, videotaped minor children engaging in sexual acts. Sixty-year-old Foote was convicted for child pornography and several counts of rape, sodomy and other assaults on children at the school!

Do you really know who you are trusting to communicate with and care for your children?!

The Word of God tells us,

“This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come, for men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God” 2 Timothy 3:1-4.

Watch over your children closely, pray over them daily, teach them the Word of God and to be careful of those who might breach their trust.
